about point 1 i would say it is harmful for your sd card so i would skip it
about point 2 see battery extender kernel thread and follow flashing steps and you can easily get it done right
about point 3 it is kernel which decided whether init.d should work or not so if a kernels it the rom automatically supports it { as i know }
about point 4 aokp rom i dont know that as no stable aokp rom has been build for ace yet { though you may find laggy aokp roms for ace also }
try cm 9 by @Rhievaldo it is great and light too
about point 5 my answer is still cm 9 by rhievaldo
i hope i helped you brother

thank you for your time i want aokp because when i press home for long it show ram with app kill this is the best feature on which rom or app i can get that easy to kill apps
and about point 1 if we link only internal to use as storage its not dangerous but using as a ram is dangerous right ?

Both become dangerous over time, but it's more dangerous to use "swap partition" due to the increased number of write/read cycles

You can still use scripts like CronMod to increase the internal storage. All you need is an ext2/3/4 partition and a rom with init.d support. Follow the instructions in the below thread on how to install CronMod.
CronMod Script
You can use the following guide by @Venomous Viper 119 to learn how to improve the battery life of galaxy ace and what are the best scripts to do so.
Improve battery life & performance of ace
You can check the following guide by @alireza7991 to see how you can add init.d support to your kernel or rom.
How To Add Init.d Support to Your Kernel & Rom
Haven't personally used AOKP roms, so I can't help you here. Also no recommendation on the roms above 4.1 since I only use Gingerbread 2.3.7 based roms.

Also I disagree with user @aditya rathee on his answer to the fifth question since cm9 roms are Android 4.0 - 4.0.2 while the user specifically asked a rom above Android 4.1 .

And here I was under the assumption that you didn't see the above Android 4.1 part of the question. Glad to clear out the misunderstanding buddy Though I still don't understand why you suggested it as an answer to Question 5 when you could have mentioned it as a suggestion.

The brick bug is there with every ROM that has Stock ICS Kernel.Kernels that have MMC_ECAP_ERASE command removed are safe but for some reason MIUI doesn't support these kernels :silly:

Though it seems you asked for an opinion on which one to use and it does appears that you did your homework and read up on both the main miui roms available at the moment, imo to say that there are to many complaints regarding them is a little unfair as there isn't a rom forum on here that doesn't in some shape or form have an compliant on whats not working or could be improved that's human nature.
As I really can not comment on the VengeanceNote Edition MIUI 2.8.3- v2.4 + Test builds version due the the fact that I'm not a big fan of cm9 but the rom developer (Gerrett) works very hard on improving it for being a test build (as the title suggest) so yes bugs are to be expected as in any rom. I personally do use the TMT-ver 2 and when properly flashed as per instructions it performs very well. Yes it does have a suspected kernel but being a long time miui user I flash mine from a relatively safe kernel , wipe cache,dalvik, format the system, factory reset then flash the rom and reboot, along with formatting my internal sd card and installing from scratch though it takes me a bit (1 hour or so) and everything works fine and it saves me a few headaches along the way, there are the standard things that miui themselves need to fix like the fc's in the About phone Status and in the Mobile Networks when you want to select Network Operators (these have been known issues since my S2 days) and few people have an issues with the theme manager but for me it does what I want it to. I get decent battery life being a semi-light user never less then a day and a half to 2. But it does vary on what I'm doing..
In the end to ask an opinion for what to use you'll get a variety of each individual who answers your post but what might work well for them may not apply to you and your phone so try what you like if it doesn't suit you then move on to another..

Man, my kernel doesn't have any problem with sd-ext. Either the script you are using is the problem, either your sd-card is may not be properly partitioned. I'm using sd-ext on AOKP and used it on CM10.1 also along with my kernel. I did not touch the ext4 drivers, so no error should be expected. Please check your script or partitions before making such claims.

my claims are proven, im running all roms (cm7,cm9,cm10,cm10.1) with sd ext script intext+, all work fine...as soon as i flash your kernel, bootloops or stuck at boot...tried every procedure of flashing...nothing...im not flaming you, this is bug, thats it...and few more people reported this problem

There are people that posted in my kernel thread saying the sd-ext works perfectly, and my partition works too, with the same kernel. This means the problem is on your part, like I said, the script, or the partitioning process you used. They are just incompatible with my kernel. But ext4 feature works. Please try to understand. I know it's not flame, but it's a false claim.
If sd-ext works with my kernel, even for one single user, it is clear that it's not kernel's fault.

In Androidarmv6 github there is the fix...
keyguard_glow_pad_view, keyguard_glow_pad_container, etc..., are correct in Androidarmv6 sources.
Maybe in MaclawStudio sources isn't so.

even for cm10.1 and AOKP, i found s2e (moded) better in terms i dont have to move Swype and Whatsapp to sd card/sd ext, it can stay at internal, and its eliminate lag causing of start ups and in-app...
but, as we said: opinions differ
BTW: anyone tried this rom yet?! ))))))

I hope you know that moving only the apk of an app doesn't create lags in that app. The moving of data and dalvik creates lag because the system needs to constantly access that data from a fast NAND flash memory, not SD. That's why I prefer the old CronMod A2SD script. It moves only the apks.
You're right, this is not an argument. But it's better to let the other users know what's right for them. I can't pronounce myself about Cm9 sd-ext as I never tested that, but being the same Filesystem drivers, it should work.

[Q] Fastest and stable rom with minimal features?

Hello everyone
I am looking for a fastest and stable rom with minimal features. I dont require anything fancy. It also does not matter if it is gingerbread or jelly bean, or custom or stock. The only requirement is it should be fast and stable.
Can you please suggest which would be the best rom as I have tried searching the threads but it seems to be a sea of different roms with many technical terms which I dont completely understand.
Currently I am using Remics jellybean.
Thanks and regards
you can try CyanogenMod 10.1 by ADC-Team - Release 8 and K^Kernel 3.4.x OC/EXUV 390MB
Remics is already fast
I have been using the tweaks in this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=46566228#post46566228
The device is fast and stable enough for enjoyable usage.
Also install and use Clean Master ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cleanmaster.mguard ) regularly to cleanup cache and logs and temporary files.
Using Greenify ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.oasisfeng.greenify ) also is great to save memory on background process.

I agree that remics is fast. However I was hoping that there might be a faster rom (because of less minimal features) since I dont require the fancy features of jellybean.

Hello
Is there any link and tutorial to download and install this? Also I didnt understand what you meant by "no selinux active".
CM 10.2 nightly ==> https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=galaxysmtd&type=
Sema-Kernel ==> http://http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1786220
How you can Flash a kernel like Sema ==> Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQVj-tPDOXo
BigMEM-Libs for Sema-Kernel 3.2.0s ==> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=44495730&postcount=16
Flash via CWM-Recovery
Sine Android 4.3.x SeLinux is an security enhancement...it is activated on "Standard"-CM 10.2 ==> look under Settings ==> About the device at the bottom "SeLinuxStatus" and with Sema-Kernel is gets disbled for more performance - i think ...
Hope i can help you...

Fastest and stable rom with minimal features
CyanAOSP JB 4.3 v1.4.5 [Stable - For Gaming ] or [Team D.I.R.T] Dirty Unicorns 4.3.1
these ROMS are fast..
try the CyanAOSP JB 4.3 if you want minimal features...
Mackey ROM, beast ROM, Slim Bean and Gamerzrom are the light and stable ROMs for gaming and performance
Another way could be freeing your android from any app you do not need ...gives more RAM to your android ...
Very stupid question, I know, but:
I've been googling and searching on this site for 2 days looking for a list of absolutely necessary apps or of the apps that can be unistalled without affecting Basic function: phone, SMS and data tranfer.
Is there a way to uninstall in the Settings/Apps/ the apps for which there is no uninstall Option or this Option is greyed-out?
You would made a great dead and give me more time to Play with my Kids if you could maybe point me to a posting on the Forum where these question were addressed.
Thanx in advance.

Galaxy Ace gt-s5380 (what rom you recommend)

Hello everyone!!!
I have a new ace and i am new to this forum, i am asking to all of you guys if what rom will you recomend. I am not a dev, i am just a user. I want to flash a cm11 rom, what rom will you suggest? Of course less bug and smooth cm11 is good. I saw a deffirent cm11 here and i cant dicide what to flash. Plsss... I need your suggestions and plss provide also a link. I am already using cwm 6.0.4.6.
How can i increase my external memory? I never use link2sd on my previews phone so i never know how to partition. Is there a guide here and can i ask for the link? Im just using my phone alone to download, flash, etc. Can i make partition without pc?
Thanks in advance, all devs here are great to develop a cm11 for this device.

I would suggest you to stay with gingerbread ROM. As far as I try, official CM7 + FireKernel is good on speed, performance, and battery life. If you want newer Android, you should give OldDroid's AOSP ICS a try.

Try Apocalypse ROM. It is based on gingerbread and super smooth, also the looks are great

Any suggestions or help
