HELP needed changing ROM after installing Molski (2.26.10.2) AKU2.3 ROM

Hi there,
After I installed Molski's 2.26.10.2 AKU2.3 ROM I can't seem to upgrade/downgrade to another ROM. After starting the update utility my screen went black, the update tool stalled at 0% with error [260] UPDATE ERROR and the only way to reset was to remove the battery.
My specs right now are:
T-Mobile Vario G3 (G3 yes!) Wizard
IPL 2.26
SPL 2.26
GSM 02.47.11
OS 2.26.10.2
I tried getting into the bootloader by pressing and holding either one or both of the righthand buttons and a soft reset, but then the screen goes blank (black) as well with the removal of the battery as only option.
I also tried to install button's 1/05 ROM without succes (same 260 error).
I also reinstalled Windows XP + MS ActiveSync 4.1 just to rule that part out, but even then no luck!!
I flashed my PDA on several occassions using different ROMS each time, but this is the first time it doesn't work . Perhaps something to do with the bootloader?
Any help would really be appreciated!

You shouldn't go back to the 1.05 unless you need to downgrade your IPL/SPL for some reason or another...
I'd try the T-Mobile 2.26. (That's what I do when changing ROM's, because when I see the T-Mobile splash I KNOW that all parts of the previous ROM are gone.)
Always works for me, YMMV though ...

But now the thing doesn't want to boot any more please help

try this
Firware an old rom back on the device prefrebly the one you ohone came with and make sure you phone is cid unlocked. Also have you tried a hard reset

Force bootloader mode!

A couple of things to start with. First of all get you device back working. As mentioned by epimazzo above, force your device into bootloader and flash a stock ROM not a cooked one. Read the thread.
Once you have got your device working start reading before making any more rash decisions about upgrading to WM6 (especially when the file name hints that it is for a Prophet and not a Wizard). There is only one leaked Crossbow ROM for a Wizard. This has been cooked a few times (Orwell, PDAViet, Underground). There are many threads on the merrits of each ROM but you need to read read read before you end up with a brick.

Fixed Boot crash problem
Thank you Guys for all the help; I got it back running.
formatted : Push the network button and the voice button and reset then release the rest and you get the balck screen that has the press send button and that formats Wizard and then
Push the Power + Voice + Camera and I get the Red Green and White screen. quickly Update the ROM to the origunal one I have T-Mobile. It worked. You guys are the best. I found 5._Underground_edition_Crossbow_ROM But I was not able to flash it. I need to unlock the CID but I read that I would have to down grade the Wizard and then Unlock the CID. I am still looking for the old ROM.i think I found it. If anybody has a better way to Unlock the CID please tell me.

my t-mobile mda compact got hanged at the bootloader mode(3 color mode) while upgrading to wm6 rom.i had done everything as told in vlodeck's thread about upgrading to wm6.but got stuck in 3 col mode.also tried to glash it with t-mobile official rom.but its giving me an connection error while upgrading.my 3 color mode displays only following text

can you explain more? what happen after u got stuck while upgrading to wm6? then what did u do when u trying to flash it back to wm5?

i tried to upgrade it with wm6 from wm5.it got stuck at bootloader mode givin the above info(ipl....)i tried the wizardlove rom.it did worked,but with no sound and constant battery error even if my battery is 96% charged.what should be done to it now .and fikri bhai,thnx a lot for ur concern.guide me more if u can

did you try tmobile orginal rom?there are some orginal tmobile roms on xda-developers.you can find link in this forum and try them.they should work.how do u know your battery is %96?is your wizard opening correctly?also wizard rom has omap be sure overclock status isnt active,also download latest active sync.if already installed uninstall and install new version....i hope you will be able to fix..cheers

Before your do this charge your phone full using.. power adoptor. first..
then put it in bootloader mode..( 3 color screen ) then install above rom.

your device are G3. have you cid-unlocked your wizard? i would suggest you to flash your wizard to its original rom. then we'll work from there if the problem is still there. goodluck

hey nasir what r u saying.i thought my device was g4 as per the g4 thread.& i was making the attempts to flash just like the g4 thread.plzz clarify all u guys is my device a g3.coz i read somewhere that installing a g3 rom on a g4 bricks the device totally .

Your device is a G4. You gave your IPL/SPL as 2.06.001 which is a G4 if it were a G3 your IPL/SPL would only be 2.06. You aren't doing anything wrong by following the G4 directions.

A *G3* Wizard will have the following:
IPL: 1.xx *or* 2.xx *or* 2.xx.00x (Note that this version only has *TWO* 0's.).
_SPL: 1.xx *or* 2.xx *or* 2.xx.00x (Note that this version only has *TWO* 0's.)_
A *G4* Wizard will have the following:
_IPL: 2.xx.000x (Note that this version has *THREE* 0's.)_
_SPL: 2.xx.000x (Note that this version has *THREE* 0's.)_

iam really sorry fikri bhai.actually I didn't posted the correct info.I checked it 1nce again and it was like ipl & spl both are 2.06.0001.thus clearly its a g4.but iam still not able to get the correct working rom on my piece.now iam getting totally frustated with roms.only the wizard love rom is working & that too with no speaker sound and 0% battery error.even when the led shows green light

have you tried official tmobile AKU 3.8 rom? i find it very stable and fast. if you have tried many roms and the problem still persist, sorry, i have no idea to help you. all d best

i started the upgrade process. and it stucked at 99% and now when i start my device its only displaying 3 colour texture screen and only written.

and now its also not connecting to any usb. but when i put the usb. the usb label appears on the bottom left corner of my device. so please suggest me which rom i will use to fix that problem.

You need to CID unlock AND you need to upgrade to an official 2.xx rom BEFORE flashing a WM6 upgrade as they don't contain IPL/SPL and you will have all sorts of issues flashing a 2.xx or higher os into 1.xx bootloaders.
And I would suggest at the very least reading all the sticky posts in this forum before you continue with your flashing mission, it will save you from some unnecessary stress and anguish over why your device isn't responding to a flash the way you wanted it to.

Is my K-Jam totally bricked?

Is my K-Jam totally bricked?
It is now stuck up in bootloader screen.
I am able to swtch it off with power button. I can also have first flash screen.
On connecting with USB port, it shows yellow light indicating that it is charging & that over a period of time, goes green.
Earlier I had flashed TNT ROM but while reflashing newer it got stuck up as after flashing, I tried to hard reset [mistakenly thought ROM is flushed fully] & could not go further after initail first screen.
Other details:
IPL:2.16
SPL:2.16
GSM:02.07.10
O.S.:11.0.0.2
May some one help?

Nopes ! its not 'Bricked' just had a bad flash. As long as it gets into bootloaders ,its perfectly safe. Perhaps,your phone is not CID unlocked ?
Download the official carrier's rom from its website and flash it in the bootloaders,it'll start to work fine.Then read the guide to cid unlock and upgrade.

i am having serious problems with my kjam.i installed black diamond's rom and now my phone boots upto the splash screen where it shows window mobile 6 and gets stuck there.
i have tried a soft spl, but it doesnt help as the phone cant connect or move from the splash screen.also, i can make call or do anything with the phone.
can someone assist me and also point me to a place where i can find the lastest tnt rom.

Always post vital data of the phone,which is your device G3 or G4.Have you Tried Soft Reset or Hard Reset.it sometimes help.
Well,if it's a G3,is it SIM/CID unlocked,cuz its required to get the phone CID unlocked to upgrade to wm6,but if its a G4,then use method 'SoftSPL' or 'HardSPL' as it cannot be CID unlocked.
Post IPL/SPL...? of the phone here.

'Hard Reset' the phone,hope it'll work fine.
Well,I assume,you cudn't do the SoftSPL correctly the first time,try to apply the SpftSPL again correctly,if it works,ok,otherwise you can upgrade to wm6 with HardSPL method.
