Sim contacts - Palm Treo 750 ROM Development

is there a way to turn off sim contacts on the treo 750? I've looked around and haven't found a way to only show phone contacts.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Phone]
"ShowSIM"=dword:00000001 ->0 to disable, 1 to enable.

Show/Hide SIM contacts

HI all!
How can I hide the sim contacts? Which is the registry key to modify?
I've tried TweakUI (modified for Trinity) and all tweak works, except "Show/Hide SIM contacts".
Greetings
Using htc sim manager, you can:
A) Move all sim contacts into an outlook contact(put pictures, etc) vice versa
B) Delete all sim contacts/outlook contacts
No reason you need to have both
I've all my contacts on device, but I want to leave saved the contacts also on my SIM card. The method to hide them, there is.

Registry: HKCU\ControlPanel\Phone
Key: ShowSim (dWord)
Set it to 0
But it'll go back to 1 if you Reset the device.
I installed PocketCM, since it doesn't show SIM i don't have to hide it anymore. Looks nicer too.
There was a file posted on this board to fix that issue. I forgot who posted it but here it is.
Thank you a lot! It works

Just moved over from Symbian UIQ 3 (m600i). I have no idea what CABS are and how to install the file you attached.
I also want to rid myself of seeing duplicated names as I want to see phone contacts but also retain SIM contacts. I go diving and change mobiles and still need the names & numbers.
copy the CAB to your phone and browse to it via the File Browser.. then execute.
not work!
please
This DOES work:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Phone]
"ShowSIM"=dword:00000001 ->0 to disable, 1 to enable.

I made and posted it only to modaco.com, but it's nice to know it made it here too; considering it's the only one I know of that works after soft-reset.

@f1ip: I don't have Pocket CM, but KaiserTweak is an easy way to hide SIM contacts (and it's only 377 kB + 47 kB for the .xml file, so it's not a memory hog)
@Corrupted Sanity: I too switch phones sometimes - don't want to take the expensive PDA to some environments.
@Everybody: I find that even though I have "Hide SIM Contacts" enabled, Voice Command still looks at them when I ask to dial a contact, and says "Showing 2 Found" and then asks which one you want to dial - a - anyone else have this experience?
Would like to have Voice Command ignore SIM contacts - the "Showing 2 Found" thing is so annoying that I ended up deleting all my SIM contacts, then I have to copy them back to the SIM if I want to transfer the SIM to another phone.

Did you even bother to read the release notes comment on Modaco? Or any followup comments? KaiserSimFix is the ONLY fix that still works after restart.
I don't know how i managed to fail in installation, but it seems not to work.

Use a reg editor search for what he wrote, and there should be a key for enabled, change it from 1 (on) to 0 (off). Simple
HKLM\Software\HTC\StartupAnimation
There you go.

Is it possible to disable the startup vibration?
I dont want my Kaiser to vibrate while sitting in its cradle...

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings\SMSNoSentMsg DWORD 1 (dec)
You are confused because you thought it should me in \Svc\SMS\ ??
It is a notification command to the messaging app, not just a specific SMS service command.
EDIT.. WEIRD, I can't remove the gap in the above SMSNoSentMsg

Wrong incomming time on text messages (off by 4h)

SMS Timestamp Fix
Hey Guys,
Where's the fix for the SMS timestamps. My time is about 4 hours off!
Anyone!?!?!?
Im having the same problem...Maybe Im going to call HTC later today.
For some reason the text messages that I receive are all off by 4h, while the ones I send are correct. My date/time and region is all correct also. and my time zone is GMT-7 Mountain Time. Can anyone help me please this is really annoying
Have you connected your phone to your pc/laptop??...once i did that the phone time and date were synched correctly and i havent had that problem ie sms texts time stamp is off.
If that doesnt solve it then soft reset the phone...it may solve your problem.
i've done both actually... its weird
Try this fix:
I am on Rogers in Canada, and I had a similar problem. This fixed it.
1) Goto HKLM/SOFTWARE/OEM/PhoneSetting
2) Add DWORD Value 'TrustTimeZoneField'
3) Set value = 0
I am also having this problem..Fido in canada...both 1.35 and 1.37 ROMs...4hrs early

SMS when ignoring calls

when someone calls me I have the option to send a message which says " Im busy, ill call you back later ". is it possible to change that text through a registry edit?
did you try going into Setting --> Phone ---> Advanced
the first option there, i'm pretty sure you can change the message
no i did not, thank you
Is there a registry edit to bring this back up?I think after tinkering around the phone with Advance Configuration or S2U2 - that option isnt in my settings>phone>advance section and I would really like to have it back
Even in S2U2 I have the option "send busy text message" set to on

I am using "S2U2 2.04" on "Samsung Omnia 910" (verizon) with registery editor "PHM Registry Editor" ver 0.70. I do not find the "HTC" part of the registry. Is this because I am using a Samsung Omnia? I have even looked under the "Samsung" key and still have not found the "Phone" key.
Any help will be much appreciated.
