Diffrent Dial Pad
I've installed the Jimm98y dial pad with limmited success. It appears that it will rum but in the back ground. It will appear after you are making a call using the original dial pad and when you hang up, but then the original comes up again. I wish I knew how to disable the original pad and just be able to use the Jimm98y one.

BAH
I hate this. I hate the dial pad but I also have a treo 750 and can't change it. I WISH I CAN GET RID OF IT. there has to be a way....

Have you tried method with disabling active call today plugin? It was described somewhere here...

Voice Command 1.6

After installing VC 1.6 on my Tilt, the BT has been acting weird. When I press the button on my BT headset, sometime VC activate, other time my phone just dial the previous number right a way or nothing happen at all. Then the button I programmed to call VC will stop working too.
I wonder is it because Voice Dial is interfering with Voice Command. How do I remove Voice Dila from my phone?
hey can you upload a voice command cab, so I could use it on my tilt and then I will let you know how it works, basically I am trying to steal your sotware without harming you. thanks

PocketCM Keyboard Problem

I am using one of 2many's PCMK skins and I love it! Typing is amazing fast. But, after I have used the pocketcm keyboard for anything, if I receive a call, the Incoming Voice Call screen is cut off by the lower edge of the screen, so I can only see "Incoming Voice Call" but I can't see who is calling. A soft reset solves the problem, but as soon as I use pcmk again the problem persists.
Has this happened to anyone else? Anyone know how to fix it? I love pcmk but not knowing who is calling me is not worth the ease of typing. (I'm using Dutty's Hybrid 6.1 ROM on my Tilt)

How to dial a number during a call?

Hi,
If wanted to call my service provider today and noticed that there might be a terrible bug in the phone interface.
During the call, I got a auto response system (computer) on the other line, telling me to dial 1 for option A, dial 2 for option b etc...
Now I looked everywhere to retreive the phonepad, but I just could not find it. This would mean that I can not phone any company using an automated response system... or did I overlook an option. The manual doen not explain this.
Hope there is a solution to this.
Touch Diamond

LMAO,... so sorry
I am using the Dutch version, and the word 'Toetsenblok' (keypad) is also short for button-lock. In other words I thought this would lock the screen features.
Damn.... how stupid of me. Glad that there is not a real problem here tho
I was going through the menu, this is where the KEYPAD option was in my previous HTC phone.
read the dialed number from the reciever
Hello guys,
Can developers know what does the caller press on his keypad.
In other words,
during a call between two persons, if someone dials 3 for example, can the other guy read this number using a piece of software code?

[Q] Dialing Within A Call?

Today I tried to call a customer service number for a business on my Captivate - you know the ones, press 1 for English
Anyway, once I made the call, I figured out how to and pulled up the dial pad within the call and hit the number for my selection... Nothing happened. I tried this multiple times and the computer on the other end acted like I didnt do anything. I tried calling my cell providers customer service knowing they had a similar system, and they too couldnt recognize my key strokes to enter my mobile number.
Has anyone else had this problem? Its like the phone isnt broadcasting the tones over the line while dialing or something. Am I doing it wrong, or is this just a problem my phone has? Very odd...

Mine works fine. I use it everyday to check my work voicemail.
I don't have any issues dialing within a call either.

You're not going home and re-entering the dialer program are you?
The best way is to go to speaker phone so you can hear it then hit dial pad from the call screen.
If you go to the home screen you are still in the call but hitting the phone icon will let you find or edit contacts, but will not broadcast unless you hit the call button but I don't think it will broadcast to the active phone call, it would likely try to start a 3-way.
from the home screen you must return to the call from the status bar.

The problem seems to have fixed itself, as it worked the next day to dial an extension to get a hold of my girlfriend at work. Very odd. My procedure was to dial the number, then while in the call look at the screen and hit the button for "dial pad' which of course brings it up. Then, enter the numbers I needed to enter.

I have had this before on another phone
It was likely because of a bad signal. It was just strong enough to reveive the signal but not strong enough to have your phone communicate to the tower. Thus on the other side of the line they never got the tones even though they were being dialed. Considering it did not happen again it appears this is the most likely cause.
