Deep Fish?

Anybody trying to install Deepfish on WM5 3.5 Xplode R4? I am trying and it is hanging forever.
Also Windows Live is not working? Any ideas?
I am looking at this forum for an year now and all my questions were answered before. Sorry if these are already answered.
Thanks guys for all the hard work. I have enjoyed my SX66 so far and all credit goes to XDA experts.

even if you have a copy of the cab you will be not able to use it because you need to activate it over internet

Looks like I had 2 issues with my Deepfish.
1. When I copied to SX66 using windows explorer from vista, the cab file got corrupted and only 9KB file was created. That was causing the hang.
2. Is what Xplode said. Even after installing it it needed activation code which has expired (one is already posted on this forums). They won't distribute any more of them.
So best option is to wait till beta which would be more general publicly available.

Windows Live Messenger on WM6?

Forgive me if this sounds stupid, believe I've done a lot of search before asking =/
anyway here it goes:
After flashing the ROM posted in the sticky "Herald MODDing for newbs" I can't find my MSN messenger anywhere. Now I can only use the web version! Where can I get it back? Is a .cab or something out there?
Oh, and, I can't figure out how to use touchflo as well. I tried wiping the screen from bottom to top a LOT times. Nothing happened. Everything else worked, tho, like picture viewer or finger-scrolling.

Here is a zip wich includes the Windows Live Messenger installation CAB file.
Just install it on your device and your done. The settings you need to work through are very easy.

Installation completed with no problem. But..
It doesn't matter whether I'm on wi-fi or GPRS, when I try to sign in it says "Windows Live was unable to establish an Internet Connection." and blah blah blah. Asking me to check my connection settings. Well, IE worked fine. I can surf. So what's going on?

never mind. I googled aggressively and found that it was an older version of software conflicting with Windows Live Mobile. It was called CE Star. The newest version does not have the connection problem.

I'm glad that you were able to resolve your issue with the Windows Live Mesanger but unfortunately im unable too. I am able to connect via WiFi but im not able to connect GPRS, are you able to connect w/o WiFi? If so, do you have a .cab file or a website that you can direct me too. Any help on this issue would be great. Thanx

After uninstall ce-star, I had same problem:
I setup both wi-fi and bluetooth dialup through my cellphone. Even when wi-fi is connected, windows live insist on dialing through bluetooth. And the worst of it, it will keep on dialing until soft reset and nothing else can stop it.
Any idea?

SmartToolkit RC9, does someone know a other program like this?

I have a problem with the SmartToolkit. The Program freezes very often. I can´t say when it does. Has anybody else the problem or know a program that works like this (but stable)?

I used RC9 and had the same problems. I now use RC07 and it works great. No freezing.

You have to turn of "Global Skinning" to stop SmartToolkit from freezing. I believe you'll find it in SmartToolkit settings somewhere.

Where do you get SmartToolkit RC7? I can´t found it on the web, but want it.

i have downloaded the latest skype´s cab available on their web and it says "it couldn´t start"

Dude relax and search.
Use Fring (free and works great) while Skype Corp. Designs skype that will work for WM6.1. Its not about the Diamond.

Ive tried Fring and I can confirm it does indeed work very well.
I use it for logging into Skype and its excellent. Thatll do for now! (personally I think its better than skype, doesnt seem to be as resource intensive)

The compass on my htc hd2 with wm7 is not working. Does anybody put this apl to work. I thing this is related with the sence capabilities of the phone.

use this free tool if you wish, it can help you a lot in going to directions that you saved or you may enter manually, it gives you direction,and altitude to reach places like digital compass,and you could use maps of your area to put coordinates...

in fact, outdoor navigation has a compass that worked for me for 5 min?!?!?!?than it wouldn't.
so i think it's a few registry correction and i would work fine...

Bump...any word on a compass yet? Several apps in the marketplace tell me they cannot function properly because my device does not have a compass. Compasses downloaded from marketplace also do not work and give me the same message.
