its not the applications that I ported its the main os or the sys folder to get a newer build. so if and when I port the new touch2 rom, it will only be the system files not the applications. they have to be added seperatly as ppl extract them

that is the smartphone version NOT the ppc version. there is NO real video or else for ppc version...
we'll see once the chef's start integrating the new os if the speed hype is for real, honestly thats all i'm looking for. oh and if it's not too much to ask i'd like my left softkey to go back to "new" in messaging like WM5. i could care less for individual message delete as clearing a whole folder does the trick for me =)
Of course the PPC version will be better-looking since PPCs are better than smartphones.

Pretty sure its going to be a whole new rom, as i dont think ive ever seen a point "upgrade" for windows mobile os. This will definately entail flashing a new image and all existing data will need to be backed up beforehand.
the TP2 is basically a cosmetic upgrade to the original TP... but now they have added the 800 x 480 resolution screen!!!
Does this mean if a ROM is dumped, it would be much easier to port? ya know, considering the x1 and TP2 will be sooo similar now?

It's not. I bet it's a rom dump from Dutty's HD rom but it does have a lot of goodies in it.

i thought these usually show up when manufacturers have their build from HTC or whatever. These should be based on WM 6.5 no?
My information about the diamond's 2 are that there are wm6.1 Prof. devices. If you want, It is possible to make an offical update to 6.5, so HTC on a video on youtube by the WMC.

There has been a substantial amount of progress in the dump of the OEM packages from the touch pro 2. The XIP is out there too but there is no SYS so we are still waiting on that.

I haven't heard about that one yet. Let me know how it turns out. I don't wanna release my new rom till i can get everything working the way i want with the colors i want.

It looks like it's got pretty much all the obtained rhodium stuff in it, mixed with some kovsky and and HD.
For novices it's sublimely easy to build with, literally one button and choose what apps you want..
Does have many of the same bugs Itjes B1 had, (contacts etc) and a load of custom icons which aren't to my tastes. but overall it's very very impressive

OH wow there are so many different kitchens. I wonder how tfl3d from touch pro2 will work on windows 6.5 better than it does on 6.1...
This is my first rom for Touch HD, so don't expect it to be bugless, but I can assure you that it will be very fast and stable. Most of the extra enhancements by HTC are deleted such as Manila, albums, volume control etc. Basically it's just a clean Windows Mobile 6.1 rom with some extra things like HTC heyboard and Communication manager. This is just the initial release, I'll do some visual updates soon.
Free ram after boot: 140~145Mb

HTC Keyboard
Adobe Reader LE
HTC Comm Manager
MS Office and all other Microsoft applications

I see you have included Acrobat Reader? What's the point, makes no sense in having that in a Lite ROM when it can be installed via CAB! infact I have it on my storage card and 'Never' reinstall! Waste of memory if you ask me...
Also is the Comm Manager the full one - or the compact one which only has Wifi, Bluetooth and Phone?
The rest looks appealing.

Actually this isn't supposed to be a lite rom. This is actually a business type rom. Thats why I kept the PDF reader and Office. If you want lite roms, there are already two awesome lite roms around. One by onkolog and the other one by johnpatcher. Those roms are simply amazing. If u want lite roms, use them

it looks so beautiful kind of 3d animation, should be workin on x1 doesnt it ?
as far as i know its the same processor , the same hardware.... another point to make it work on x1

Might not work mate. X2 is not HTC anymore as far as i know ...... but i might be wrong.
I pray that SE will make an WM 6.5 upgrade for the X1, and i will not need a ported rom from x2. Now i'm using a custom wm 6.5 rom and is fine. Hope to see that official rom.

Btw, there are people cooking on the X2 rom as we speak

It would be awesome if someone cooked it like the UnOff rom, 100% pure xperia stuff... unlike some roms with some weird startup screen and a completely messed up start menu with 999 items for which I've to scroll 10 times. Not complaining, but I'm a Lead Developer so I find some things could be improved using common sense. Too bad I haven't enough time to get into mobile stuff like cooking roms. May be one day I will, but for now thanks to spikegotti for giving me what I've been wanting

Totally agree with the 100% (or ~100%) clean ROM. So it would be great for every ROM release to have 2 version, one totally clean and one personalized so that users can decide according to their need.

I'm new to the Rhodium, but I have some experience in cooking Sable roms.
So, the WM6.5 ROMs where a bit too slowly for me, however all WM6.1 roms doesn't have Sense. I made a hybrid - WM6.1 ROM with Sense 2.1. Works perfectly! Smooth, stable and so on... I have just one problem with this hybrid, my "Wired Remote Control RC E100" stopped working. It always starts Windows Media Player instead of Manila Player. If I cook the old Touch FLO 3.0 (without changing the other ext packages and OEM's) the problem is gone. It works perfectly if I cook the whole OEM's from a WM6.5 rom. But if I do that, a lot of other programs do not work anymore (for example keyboard). I think it's a problem with a driver that is compatible only with Sense or TouchFLO, but I can not figure out with one is it! That's lame, because my ROM is finished and just this issue stops me to using it (my wired remote control is important for me)!
Any help is very appreciated.

Well i wanted to use the rom of course.. And i think the best thing to do would be to go thru the 6.5 oems adding a few at a time til the problem stops. then to see what you added that effected the remote..
Requires alot of flashing tho..
If you don't use a wired remote control... The rom could fit you ;D

I checked already the registry, nothing there... I even swaped the .rgu files!
I will have to check all the drivers :/ And this will take an whole age -_-
I checked the cab file with HTC drives for the remote control... And there is just one suspicious file: wavedev.dll. I used this driver from WM6.5 OEM, but it doesn't change anything!

Guys, firstly I need to fix my issue xD The ROM i have created is for my personal use, it hasn't got UC, it has a lot of my stuff and so on...
If there is need for such a rom, i'll create one. But this needs some time.
Edit: Yes, it has got smooth flow, but it's taken from the TouchFLO 3.0 (dunno what you mean with "smooth flow In scrolling that 6.5 has", but I don't see any difference between the TF3.0 flow and the WM6.5 one).
I understand you posted a question in hopes of fixing the problem in your rom. Sorry I can't be of some help with that. The ROM sounds like a winner though and I am anxious to try. Thank you for your response and good luck fixing the issue.

Joshkoss kitchen. WM6.1 21048 build (from HTC's stock WM6.1 ROM).
