Doesn't make any difference at all... This is a opengl (gl_es) game, the ati driver is a d3d driver...
WOW fantastic game, as good as some of the racers on my PSP and smooth as silk
Wont run if I have TF3d turned on but then I am using Rhodium
Also tried to change the .ini file to 480x640 but it does nothing in the game.
Lets have more of this development please

Diamond2 vs TP2

Having a really tough time deciding which to buy...
The TP2 does look very compelling in this video...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kz4TKMypIg4&feature=channel_page
Well... The Diamond 2 has a better camera...
It might be a little smaller... and cheaper
The TP2 has a keyboard, And it has some interesting features for business men
In my country I'd pay 150€ extra for it... Which I wouldn't do.
If you need it for business, Take the TP2, If you just want an excellent phone... Go with the Diamond 2

Agreed. Main factor for me was the size: TD2 is perfect in that respect for my kind of use, and I do not miss keyboard (if I have large amount of text to type, I have a laptop or a workstation anyway). Keyboards had much too much bulk for the advantage they offer imho...
Design-wise, the only think I would change on the TD2 would be a slightly larger screen, if that is possible keeping the overall size exactly the same, and more physical controls (side wheel for scrolling, more remappable buttons). At a led flash, mainly for having flashlight always handy ;-)
IMO People should not be having trouble with this decision.
You either want a phone with a physical keypad and don't mind it being slightly larger OR you would rather have a smaller phone instead of a physical keypad.
There are other differences but they are small.
One thing though .... the TF3D interface is obsessed with scrolling. On the T2 this can be like having to win a game of Teeter to be allowed to call someone or select an application. The physical keypad on the P2 has direction keys. Maybe someone can comment on where (what parts of TF3D) these can be used in.
If you turned off TF3D (escape from Teeter) then this won't be an issue.

I agree... not sure why people really have difficulty here....
Absolutely. Turning off TF3D is the best thing I ever did on my TD2. My word does it fly now! And no more stoopid scrolling through enormous lists!

Hi Jim,
I'm also pretty annoyed by the endless scrolling of TF3D and thinking of replacing it. With which "Home-Plugin" did you replace TF3D?
Is there a way to start the HTC Music player without TF3D?
Thanks and regards,

I use all the standard plugins plus WMP Status 1.0, TodayAgenda and Cash Organizer 2008.
I don't use any "Today replacement" plugins because I actually use the standard Today screen and think it's the best way of getting all the info I want on one screen.
The TF3D music player needs to have TF3D enabled. I use WMP, hence the WMP Status Today plugin.
TodayAgenda is the best thing since the news of Jacqui Smith's sacking.

Grainy graphics

Does anybody else have grainy graphics. Examples; when I start up the news and weather app, the bottom bar is not smooth looking, as well as the xda orange loading screen before the app opens also the theme chooser background. Noticed it for awhile but never bothered to ask. Is it just because our phones being low end devices now? Non hd? thanks in advance

[Q] Camera problems! Solution?

Hello,
I guess everybody who owns a 4X will encounter problems with the camera app.
When recording video the 4X will try to focus again and again and finally the movie is crap! When taking pictures it is even worse, most the pictures are out of focus!
I have tried some camera apps but none of them correct the out of focus problem.
Manny apps like camera 360 don't even work...
Does anybody have a solution for this problem?
I am very surpised that LG's flagship has a problem like this!
It's like LG never tried the camera app...
I am dissapointed about this issue but still i prefer the 4X over the ONE X or the S3
Having a TEGRA3 phone with 80Gb memory is a nice thing, movies, music, games as much as you want. This phone works really smooth and the TEGRA3 enhanced games are the best you can buy on the android market.
Battery last longer then the one X and it feels lighter, slimmer and has more class then the one x, but i guess that is personal opinion. Before i owned a HTC Desire HD and i can only say that even with this camera issue the 4X is my number 1 phone for the moment. So if you are looking for a TEGRA 3 GamePhone this is the one to buy !
Can XDA remove the "not to buy thread" this does not belong here !!!
Greetings to all android users out there...
PS What will happen to Android when flash support ends !?
It's been commented in another post..
The app lgcamera seems to work fine..
BTW, I agree with you, it's an amazing phone
Sent from my LG-P880 using xda app-developers app
Yup, this app seems to fix the autofocus issue.
