I just meant that clicking on the link went to a 404 error page
I don't own a 750V, but I posted the link to the new Cingular ROM over at treocentral.com since there are lots of people importing them right now. Hopefully that will get them working on updating the wiki

Cheetah WM6 Upgrade Bug
I upgraded using the Cheetha upgrade and have discovered a bug. When typing, the caps lock stays on, to be completely serious, it works opposite of how it should. Does anyone know of how to change this?

I can get a Palm Treo 750v in Italy with a discounted price but would like to switch to the UK Vodafone ROM (don't like italian ROM). Is it possible to get it somewhere ?

Up till now no update ROM is available, because Palm have not releaese it. Probably you'll find the original ROM somewhere on the Web, try a search on Google or Altavista with the keyword "Treo ROM"
I advice you also to check xda-developers FTP, section "Ceetah", maybe someone upload original ROMs.....

"NO QUESTIONS ASKED" is just not logical coz no treo owners will flush their device with something they don't know nothing about. a brief explanation is necessary and what if something goes wrong? They'll just blamed themselves?

I agree. I downloaded the upgrade but I am a little scared to flash since there has not been any other information given about the reliability of this upgrade. Is there anyone out there that has flashed this? Is there any feedback on the reliability of this upgrade? I would really appreciate any responses.

Hey guys, so that flash file for the Treo 750 works well? I need to flash one for a friend.
I flashed the standard version
and It is great . I tried before the lite version and It was not so stable.
i do flashed my treo with the wm 6.1 standard version, it is stable and more responsive

if you need to know some tecnical stuff you can search the forum or send a PM...
but that's only my point of view...
the main objective is to have as much software and OS's has possible compiled in the same thread...

Hi guys and rom developers,
Since monday the 15th of june I'm a proud owner of a HTC TP2 smartphone.
This smartphone comes with the dutch version of windows mobile 6.1 professional and it is already sim unlocked (all HTC phones are sim unlocked).
I want to dump the rom+spl+p anything else to help the community to produce a Hard-SPL, cooked roms etc.
I admire the work that Pof has been doing during these years for the xda community and I want to help a bit. I know quite a lot of dumping, flashing, unlocking etc (just by reading the posts and tutorials on xda-dev).
I want to know how many members (including Pof) are interested in rom dump of a HTC TP2 Dutch.
Let me know by posting in the thread or by PM.
ROM dumps are always welcome!
other members with a branded device may want the dump when hardspl is launched....
and chefs might want a dump to look at the OEM goodies inside to incorperate in there next (NL) cooked ROM...
so just dump it!!

HTC TP2 and MDA Vario V Dump
Guys,
A good friend of mine has bought the T-mobile MDA Vario V (Rebranded TP2).
I will offer the community tomorrow a rom dump of a dutch HTC TP2 and a dutch T-mobile MDA Vario V.
I hope that by comparing the two dumps, that Olipro/Pof can make a sim unlocker and a Hard-SPL.

ROM Dump for TP2 and MDA Vario V
As promised
I have extracted the rom from both TP2 and MDA Vario V (T-mobile rebranded TP2).
Both roms are in Dutch, so no WWE.
I have attached also both hardware information and storage map of both devices.
These are the downloadlinks for the roms:

I have only managed to extract the rom as .raw files. If somebody can convert them to .nbh that would be great.

I am very interested to dump the original TP2 onto my VarioV. I am annoid about the Tmobile web 'n walk integration in the Opera browser. I have installed a clean Opera but after a restart it still does the Web 'n Walk part. Therefor I cant wait till one of you guys found a way to dump the rom onto a Vario5.

I'm also a dutch-man, I ordered my TP2 at the t-mobile shop. Can't wait to receive it. Also I like to have a fast custom dutch rom with many tools (video players, WMWIFIrouter etc)

the shipped ROMS are the official updates!
