Have been looking around and it seems that there's a number of flash players around. What is the general concensus as to the better one that actually works and 'does what it says on the tin'

When i load a flash game from lets say addicting games.com the games load fine and i see the animations but when i try to click anything it zooms instead of clicking?!?! It sucks being so close to playing but not being able to click in the flash game. Is there something I'm missing?
Also, Is there a stand alone flash player i can use to play flash games like the ones on popular websites that i downloaded?

i dont know of a fix, but i will be writing skyfire to let them know that this problem is a lirttle annoyin. everyone eles should do the same. lets work togeather to make this browser better.
agreed but i thought forums was closed to only people who signed up for beta? maybe im wrong. Still no one has a solution for the flash games?
im gonna be that annoying ex gf that keeps bringing up old issues to see if theres a solution yet lol.

well most of us here have been enjoying flash for about a day or two. i want to make this topic for all of us to contribute to. what are some of your favorite flash sites, whether for videos or games. i dont know much about game sites but i checked gamefudge.com and most games work. some games u need a keyboard to play. comedy central works good. tbs. of course hulu although a bit choppy but thats fine. one of the sites i always wanted on my nexus one i finally got....failblog.org! froyo is surely one giant leap for the whole OS. anyways, what sites have you guys been on that you think its worthy enough to share with us?

Anybody know where is the list that Adobe provided of optimized sites?
This is a site everyone knows about but I'm listening to the Phoenix vs. Lakers game live via the ESPN homepage and their Flash enabled audio player. It's so freaking cool looking! And sounding!
My Nexus screen even dims but does not timeout, like it KNOWS I'm listening to audio, not watching video!
I'm absolutely thrilled with Flash performance! I cannot imagine being on any other platform! There is SOOO much killer content we're going to be able to take advantage of. Especially sports games I normally would not have access to while mobile, are now going to be possible via Flash!!!
Flash runs pretty choppy for me. Not sure how you guys use it for games.

i've tried those two.. my favorite of all time is xnxx.com just ignore some of the dumb videos they put on the front page and its all good.

I am trying to play It Came From The Desert but the intro is out of sync...the whole animation ends way before the audio narration is done.
Other cinemaware have similar issues like Defender of the Crown, etc.

I have not been able to get UAE4droid to work at all.
No workbench nothing.

No, it works just fine on the Captivate...but sometimes you need to download several version of the games to get one that works...the problem is with cinemare games so far running just too fast..still is pretty cool
My favorite Emu so far is jarcade though...MAME on the go and Outrun plays awesome.
Which amiga rom are you using?
Hello, Acer Iconia tab owner here. Since we don't have 3.2 yet, I was wondering if one of you could please check if Tiger Arcade works now with the new zoom feature...it didn't use to scale correctly. Thanks!
I just tried Tiger GBC playing Final Fantasy Legend and it looks and runs fine.
I'm not running stock 3.2, though. I'm using the 2.0.1 Tiamat ROM.
That's great to hear! Did you even have to use the new zoom feature? For me, 3.1 on the Acer, the window is tiny, games run but are more like phone-sized. Also, what version number of Tiger Arcade was that? Thanks for the info!
or actually, just understood that you said GBC, so gameboy...alright, that's cool to hear as well, but Arcade (Mame) is what was causing my issue. Would you mind testing that?
I don't have Tiger: Arcade. It doesn't seem to be on the market anymore. Do you have apk and a game rom?
Scales great. I have a hard time finding roms that work on it though. The rom that I tested it with was "Mega Twins". All the scaling options worked great. What roms work for you?

I've tried at least a few of the Metal Slugs and 1944, those at least worked good (as far as I could tell from the small screen). It supports gamepad too, so I'm looking forward to hooking this up to a tv and having a portable console =)

You know what, I can't find the bookmark (I guess I didn't make one) and I couldn't locate it again although I tried googling a bit. Unless somebody else can point you to the right page for downloading it (they were pulled from the market), I can of course mail you the apk, if you'd like. Just PM me with your address and I'll send the apk over. Or if somebody else has the link for downloading the emulator, please share, it'd probably help others who come to this thread too.

It is version 1.4.4. I bought it from the market before it was removed. I haven't tried Googling it but you could try one of the alternative markets. Slideme, Andappstore, and a couple of others that are actually mostly warez but are good places to check for apps no longer available; Google should be able to help you.
Hi guys and dolls. I've gone for cm10.1 userbuild..so far so good well done to those that ported...
So here's my only snag and seems to be common on this build cm10.1.. Can not get TV catchup apk.to play picture,I have adverts sound everything else but no picture.Been around forums looking for the cure tryed a few things still no cure ..Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.xx

TV? As in TV out? That is not yet supported on any Galaxy SIII running any version of CyanogenMod, Samsung says they are using an open format, but at the moment, they are the only ones using this version of the format so there's no documentation on how to properly output MHL on this device. If you want TV out you will need to run a Samsung rom at this time.

Checked what you said.Not what I meant..I mean to say Downloaded tvcatchup from googleplay..will not run correctly on 10.1 but seems to work fine on 10 from what I've read from forums..hope I got this right sorry if I did not explain this propely.Cheers..
