I tried download a couple of skins from various website (from 3rd party websites to O2).
The theme doesn't register in my themes list. Is it supposed to be like this? I want to change my system scheme to black/red
my themes stored in my documents always show up on the list on wm6
can i have a copy of one of your themes? thanks.

Can the 6 tabs be customized to 3 tabs assuming i don't want the Profile, Weather & one more i cannot remember the name. I know that if i installed the Kaiser theme on my Hermes, i can get into the registry to customize the number of tabs. Can this be done on the Kaiser? How?

yes you can eliminate tabs thru the registry
the tabs can be removed/reordered in the today screen settings
(settings -> today -> htchome)
this is only on the 6 tab version.
I just flashed Dutty's latest 6.1 to my Tilt, and I love it so far. The only think I don't like is his custom theme for the HTC home plug in. I installed HHC (HTC Home Customizer) to change the icons, but there doesn't seem to be any available theme of the original HTC icons and backgrounds. Where can I find a way to restore the original HTC home plugin icons?
Well my friend, go into HTC Home Customizer again and double check because its there. The background is called "ORIGINAL", the clock is called "ORIGINAL", the icons are called "ORIGINAL", the weather icons are called "ORIGINAL".
Yes, but you can't download them. They dont appear on the download list on HTC Home Customizer, they only appear in the gallery photos.

Im new on this site, where can I find dutty's rom and where are all the other roms?

Unpack the file and copy the contents of each folder to the appropriate folder in your Home Customizer. ** "bg" is backgrounds **
the file is in my signature under cabs called "HTC Home Original Theme"

I agree with the "old timer" that post came out of nowhere and had NO NEED to post in this thread. If he has a question he should post it in the PROPER THREAD or do MORE SEARCHING because the ROM's aren't hard to find. BACK TO THE SUBJECT OF THE THREAD, any problems with the zip file? I never tested it.

How did it come out of now where ? I bet the search showed this thread due it having Dusty in it and on top of that he said excuse me.. Point being its a good way to run off future Rom guru's ...ever make a mistake ? geez anyways back to topic.....
I have an AT&T Tilt... I have tried to switch from the default AT&T theme to several others and nothing works. AT&T theme always shows even though the apps think I'm on a different theme.
I've tried using Settings\Today, UI Tweaker, and one other app.

this might be easy to overlook so i'll ask:
are you downloading proper wm themes?? if so all you need to do is copy the theme to your device and click on the .tsk file and it should automatically install the theme for you. You don't need to use seperate applications if you have the .tsk file.
can anyone point me in the direction of some wvga themes that work ?
i have downloaded a heap but the images doesn't appear to work in most of them.
neither a search of here or google has thrown up any nice ones ...
I'm having the same disappointing problem;
I found some Asian site with a bunch of themes designed for the Omnia, but the background images wouldn't display. I've only had success with the stock Omnia theme, and the built-in themes. Otherwise Ive resorted to RC Mod to play with restyling the theme...
There is a tool called WVGAThemehelper.cab which is (for whatever reason) needed to see all WVGA Themes correctly. google it and be not afraid of japanese webites
It works...and on the same page you can find loads of WVGA Themes!

I think you need to run the programm (not the cab) every time you changed a theme...awefull, I know...but better than nothing.

Thank you. The WVGAthemehhelper worked on my Touch Pro 2. Finally, I get to add themes!
I've seen so many great theme on this forum and i wanted to try them all. However, I'm a very simple guy with a lot of expectation and I like the original black theme, but I want a full tabs theme.
I searched around, but found nothing except for GODZSON's 14 tabs theme... but no picture, so I can't really tell which to download.
So I was wondering if anyone seen a 14 or 15 tabs theme around... with the original black theme?

Cant you just use NATF's current Roms and then use TF3D Config to add/ remove tabs???

Thought of that, but I don't like the transparent background of the tabs... and most of the time, installing a new theme solves a lot of problems for me... beside there's only 10 tabs in v4.1
Here's the files to make any theme 14 tabs. Install the cab file will give you calendar, commMgr, and call history. I didn't make the cab, just passing it along. The other manila file has the edit for the sounds tab added to it. Just copy it into windows AFTER installing cab.

Transparent tab background can be fixed with the attached cab.

im using NATF 4.1 and those cab's crashed my tf3d, it's not loading anymore..
i followed exactly the instructions you specified.
luckily after uninstalling it's fixed and is now working again.
i'd recommend having alot of CARE when installing these.

Unfortunatelly this has crashed my TF3D (MDA Vario IV)
