Hi, im having issue with my contact list not showing if its not got access to the interent. does anyone know why.
Its a bit annoying having a phone and not being able to find anyone to ring while out.

EDIT: for whatever reason it started working just after i posted this from my tilt but if anyone knows, i would like to know possible causes.
Yesterday it was fine but now i cant send any messages (like email and sms but phone and internet are fine) on my tilt. I go into messages, and try to send a new message but all the text fields wont let me type anything and the "Add recipricant" menu option is greyed out.
As i said i was able to send a text message yesterday. the only things i did today that wasnt normal was use TrackMe. i recorded a few gps coordainates offline because i had no signal. then when i got home, i soft restarted because my signal wouldnt recover (and i knew i could get a signal here). then i uploaded my offline positions.
now im here. since active sync wont work on my company laptop, i was going to email the kml to myself and thats when i noticed i couldnt send anything.
has anyone experienced this before or know any ways to fix it (i already tried a soft reset).

This problem started for me yesterday,where when i receive text messg, I cant reply back to them it says text not send. Same goes with phone calls, when i have full bars and 3G sign. Yet i can go on the internet. Anyone have this problem possible to fix this?
I have the text issue with my phone as well. There are two fixes that work for me. You can either restart your phone or you can turn it on/off airplane mode.
I wish there was a permanent fix for this issue, hopefully the "official" 2.2 update will fix it.
So i'm not the only one, its quite annoying i do hope Foryo fix this. We cant be the only ones with this issue..
We aren't. I've seen this same issue posted on multiple forums.
Has their been a fix for this? Should I try getting a new Simcard or would i have 2 get a new device all together?
When I receive a text. It doesn't show up but there is a new blank message from 5556. What's that about? Anyone else having this issue? I have not begun troubleshooting.

solution: turn off bluetooth
It can be also that when you first time boot to cm it activated your 3g, maybe it is sign of it.
I am experiencing this now too. But I'm on a Samsung Captivate. Rooted, but no custom ROM or anything.

"Blackbook" app was causing this issue.. Uninstall it!
I have been having 2 problems with my hd7 so thought id post them on here to see of anyone knows how to solve them.
Firstly, I can't seem to save my voicemail number in phone settings. I type the number in the voicemail box and save it but then once the number keypad disappears the saved number reverts back to unassigned.
Finally, none of my pictures seem to be able to upload. I have tried uploading to both skydrive and Facebook, both by WiFi and my mobile data connection but each time it just says "this picture cannot be uploaded at this time".
Anyone else experienced these issues or know how to solve them?

i have the same problem. Keeps saying, "cant upload pictures right now. try again later." That didnt work. Turned the phone off and on, didnt work either. Other than that, awsome phone!
got my 2x on Thursday and i must say its awesome phone i love it. but now and then i come across issues like this one when i try to set a personal ringtone to my fiancés contact. i just cant get it to work, i open the contact and choose the ringtone i picked out nothing strange just an .mp3 but when she calls my phone to test it out its just the same standard tone as all my other contacts. whats up with that?
also i tried whoisit which seems like an super app but there's no luck there either.
anyone else got this problem?
