Today I installed the Rom 3.03.405.0 (Radio 1.64.06.04) to my AT&T Tilt... it works great, but when it has to do some restart, or even in the initialization, it does'nt wake up... I have to take off the battery because a soft reset does not work...
anyone please?

Hi there,
I wonder if anyone has had that problem before, and knows of a fix.
Ocassionally, after a few hrs/days of use, my SPV M1500 gets the screen shortcuts "confused" - for example, on the today screen I will tap on "Start" and TomTom will start, in the "Settings" screen I tap "Device info" and "backlight" comes up, and so on.
A soft reset solves the problem, but it will come back a few hours/days later.
It is annoying, to say the least.
Has anyone ever had this before? The M1500 is stock, except for an upgrade to Radio 1.04.00
Details:
ExtROM 1.11.167
OP Vers 3.11.1.167
ROM 1.11.00
Radio1.04.00
Protocol 1337.42
Thanks in advance,
seg
you should try recaliberating your screen. If the problem persists, do a backup followed by hard-reset(this ll also bring the caliberation screen)
Thanks for the reply, kdskamal.
I will try your suggestion, but the fact that after a soft reset everyrthing works fine, for a while, seems to imply that the calibration is OK?
It seems that something gets corrupted over time - more like a memory leak, or a stack overflow, or some other software problem.
Anyway, I will recalibrate to see if it makes any difference.
Thanks,
seg
Hi all,
As an update to this, I recallibrated the screen but the problem is still there. To make it even more interesting, a few nights ago I put the Alpine on the cradle, Activesync started, and then, the bluetooth manager fired up!
I have narrowed it down to two options:
--demonic possesion,
--badly corrupted registry.
Perhaps it's time for a hard resety and re-install...

You could try memory cleaning progs like Memmaid...
Or you could try cleaning the registry (Memaid also has that feature)...
Have you done any tweaks to your Alpine?
Well my problem is weird. I tried installing WM6, WM5 and even the original BA_TMUK_14200_112_11300_Ship ROM in my BA and everything is fine, but when it reaches the today page, it gets hanged and i then i have to soft rest it which brings it back to the same problem. Its the same with all the 3 versions, and also with 2003SE.
I started of with WM6, then the original and then 2003SE. My mobile was working before i tried undating it but it used to hang when i used to switch on the WiFi. Its a T-Mobile MDAIII. Does anyone have any solutions or suggestions or have i burnt it up bad??!
Well my bad, it finally worked somehow but now it gets stuck when u try to switch on the Wifi. The same problem that was before i updated the rom. I guess its a hardware problem now.
rom 2.12.08 wwe
ext rom 2.12.10.wwe
radio 1.15.00
problem:
somethimes, so notr always, when i get a call, the pfone dusn't ring but vibrates and freezes at that moment. it keeps vibrating until the battery is flat. the only way to get it back online is to soft reset it.
anyone the same problem? any sollution?
thx

Hi,
Today I've got woken up half an hour later (7:20) than alarm time (6:50) by my Era's (Polish T-Mobile) Victor. I pressed dismiss, sound stopped, but the screen was on so i pressed sleep (top side button), nothing happend. Pressed something else, phone does not react.
Same thing happend when my caller disconnected first: phone freezed
I have ROM based on v. 1.94 (the new one from the forum), and before I have flashed i had HardSPL 1.93 (I don't know if it load new SPL) , then I have loaded(or at least I think it has loaded) SPL 1.38, still hangs randomly.
I also tried new Diamond Project and I had troubles with graphic (parts of UI were not redrawed...) and it also freezed my Victor.
My oryginal ROM was Polish customzied - blue&white Era's 1.37 that was slow as hell.
Did you hear about issues like that? Is it ROM or Hardware? Do you have any stable ROM you could recommend?
Do you think that radio rom 1.02.25.11 can have something to do with it?

Click to collapse
I had random freezes when I used the .11 radio. Try reflashing back to .05, it should fix your problem.
Thank you for a clue. I will try now.
I have an At&T Tilt. the phone worked absolutely fine until I decided to do the 6.1 upgrade on it. Now the phone reboots itself on it's own. Let me clarify that statement. It shuts the phone off, then I have to power it back on. Sometimes a few times in a row. It will do it when I am talking on the phone, using my GPS or browsing the mobile web. It doesn't discriminate. Has anyone else had this problem? These are the versions I have on my phone... am I missing an update somewhere or is this something I have to live with? Thanks for your help.
R 1.65.21.18
G 25.88.40.05H
D 3.57.00.00
l haven't had any problems like that. I just switched back everything on my phone to stock . but than again i went all the way back to wm6 ... lol
If your phone is still under warranty just get an exchange or try reflashing the rom upgrade and see if that fixes your problem.
also on a note: did you remember to hard reset your phone after upgrade?
upgrade
I will try to re-install the upgrade. I did do a hard reset afterwards the first time. It's pretty annoying for my wife (amusing to me) when she calls and our call drops in the middle of our conversation. Hopefully the reinstall will fix this. I'll keep you posted.
Did this get resolved? I am having the same issues...
I am having this issue on 2 phones. One was a 6.0 tilt that I upgraded (and hard reset after). The other is a 6.1 phone that I was sent from At&t after an RMA. They both reboot 5-10 times a day, or sometimes they turn off and won't come back until I plug them in. Any ideas?
One more thing to add here. Did you install a WM6.1 ROM or did you install a ROM/Radio Combo?
Just note that 6.0 radios will never play nice with 6.1 roms
Also, what spl are you using ? Stock oem?
by any chance do u have a memory card in the device. if so remove it and use the reset button to boot it. this may very solve the problem. I've experienced it
My tilt did this also. I found that it was due to HTC home customizer. It took about 20 hard resets to figure it out tho. After installin HHC the phone would reboot over and over again. I reinstalled everything over except for HHC and working fine now.
