Trouble installing TomTom on Dutty's Latest (APR 9) ROM - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

I tried installing version 6.032.8351 HTCWWE of TomTom which I downloaded from a link found on this forum, but when I get an error.
It tells me that I am "Unable to install application. Please update your device ROM to the required version before trying again".
Can anyone help?
Edit: Nevermind I got it working.

ERROR 114 – RADIO ROM UPDATE ERROR

I have upgraded my i-mate PDA2K with de file (from i-mate web site) BA_CDL_12203_ESN_177_10600_SHIP.exe a few weeks ago and everything went right, but a few days ago I had problems with the phone (I couldn't receive SMS and no GPRS connection could be stablished) and after a warm start, the blue i-mate screen showed "No GSM" instead "R 1.06.00" so I decided to re-install de update file. This second update process stops with "ERROR 114 – RADIO ROM UPDATE ERROR" when it's trying to update the radio ROM. I have tryed to install the last radio rom version (1.10.00) and the previous one (1.02.00) with no success at all, always the same ERROR 114....
If I install only the ExtROM the device comes to life and the phone seems to work but GPRS doesn't work and when I try to upgrade or simply reinstall only the radio ROM I always get the same ERROR 114....
Could anybody help me to fix this error? I would like to upgrade to the latest version and get my PDA up and everything running.
Thanks a lot.
yes please any body say why Error 114 ?
I cant update my IMATE T-MOBULE with USB, I see error 114 in differend percetanges
thx

1) Have you tried the 1.12 of wiki and have you fixed it with the fix.bat as per getiting started on wiki ?
2) are you saying that the install of the BA_CDL_12203_ESN_177_10600_SHIP.exefails even though you were able to instal it in the past.

TomTom Install

Hey guys,
I am having an issue installing TomTom on my L26 v4 rom. I have been able to get it up and running on the standard ATT and Dutty's rom but for some reason when I do it on the L26 v4 rom it just sits there on the install screen and does nothing. When I try the exe file from the computer that loads it via Active Sync I get an error saying "Setup Error: Unable to install application. Please update your device ROM to the required version before trying again."
I tried searching the forums and trying the suggested fixed but still nothing. I tried different cabs and still same result. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
I think you would find more help posting this in the relevant ROM you are talking about.
Flash back to the original WM6 or WM6.1 ROM to see if the problem persist. I will keep the thread open for the time being.
The problem wont happen. When I had L26 ROM I couldnt flash TOMTOM either, re-flashed to a different ROM and no problems
i had no problems installing tomtom on the rom....which is in my sig

We are talking about the L26 v4 ROM though not the stock
You're getting nowhere because you've created a new thread when you really should have posted this issue in the thread for the "L26 v4" ROM where others who are running the same will see and possibly respond to it.
I'm going to step on my buddy AllTheWay's toes a little and close this thread.
@ OP, please post your question in the correct thread, you'll get better results.

TomTom Install :(

Hi all,
Trying to install the TomTom version I got with my Kaiser (TyTNII) on to my Diamond. I run it with the phone connected via activesync and all goes well until I get a message saying:
Setup Error
Unable to install application. Please update your device ROM to the required version before trying again.
Anyone know a hack to get this to work or do I have to go and buy a retail version of TomTOM?

MDA Compact IV - Installation Unsucessful

About 50% for the cabs I have tried to install on my device have ended with a 'Installation Unsuccessful' error message as soon as the installation starts. They don't even get to the select location screen.
One of these cabs was google maps? Is there any reason why? Do I need to de-cert the device?
Thanks
I'm having the same problem, and would be gratefull of some help.
In the end I gave up with the awful T-Mobile ROM and installed Elite's v3 ROM.
Its far superior and I haven't had a problem with installing cabs since.
Thanks

error 226 upgrading vodafone diamond

Hi to everyone.
I've just bought a HTC Diamond on the vodafone network, but need to unlock it as I'm on O2's network.
I've been able to install SPL 1.4 and this shows on the boot loader page.
The problem seems to come when I try and install the 'new' rom. It goes through the whole stage up to 100%. Then on the device it says error code please try again. On my Pc it says error code 226. I've tried it on a windows vista pc, and again on XP. I've also tried it by installing it direct onto the internal storage. This again goes through the installation up to and including 1005, but then come sup with a new screen on the device saying that the update and the radio have both failed to install.
I'd really like to unlock my device and to have a new rom so that I dont have all the vodafone branding.
Like many others, I'm willing to contribute so that research and new software is developed, and I have also read the forums for many hours trying to find a solution to my problem before posting.
Hopefully I can be directed to some help.
Kind regards.
Just to update and incase anyones interested.
I ended up downloading the latest version of the official rom that I could find, then extracted the nbh file using winrar, and installed that from the internal storage which has successfully worked.
Not sure why the other rom image I had wouldn't work, just glad I've got rid of the vodafone bits really.
Regards.
