When i am receiving an incoming call I would like my left soft-key to act as a silence button.
In dutty's april 9th release this was possible. Anyone know how to do this?

do you really think that answered my question?
My question specifically stated "during incoming call", not the default.
Thanks for your help though. I guess it cannot be done unless you have a specific dialer.

Not a problem, ever since my wife got the motorola z9 it has tactile response (vib when button pressed) i thought it would be great for the tilt. I always miss a number using the dialer.
Perhaps the updated video drivers will provider a better response time on the touch screen...
*sigh* hope HTC actually follows through, otherwise I may lean a bit more toward another manufacturer next time (I like playing games during lunch breaks, and when i take the train -- most game's i've found, even basic ones that run on my T-Mobile Wing (HTC Herald), fail on the tilt :-(

Nice bro. You go from being banned for a week and come back with an app. To the mods, ban this guy some more. No telling what he will come back with.

HA HA HA. Wow looks like someone else had the same idea about 3 years ago. Boy did i waste my time. But i guess to answer your question .zip vs .cab other than ripping it apart to inspect how it was written, and it was posted in the Magician forum. Oh well i guess i wasted my time, but on the other hand i hope people found it useful.
Argh, for me, nothing work, no vibrate, no sound.

Hey this cab works great for me. Is there anything that will produce the same type of feedback for the soft keyboard? Or would that depend on the sip?

Never seen that skin, but if you hold down the number 1 key it will call voicemail.
right, i know that but there was a skin that did have a voicemail button on the right. if no one knows, i'll just have to keep digging.

You know I didn't know holding down the #1 key would call the voicemail. Thanks.
I got a warranty replacement Tilt last week. On my new device, I get no sounds or vibrations when entering numbers on the telephone dialer. My last Tilt used to make a sound as I entered numbers. I have Kaiser Tweak installed, but get nothing whether I set dialer button behavior to tones or vibrate. Any suggestions? I went to Sounds & Notifications and enabled sounds for Screen Taps and Hard Buttons, with still no change for the phone dialer.
did you try searching??
try these keywords:
- keypad vibrate
- keypad sound
and see if there is solution for your problem.
i guess there is, so i would suggest to use search in the future.

thanks, I had found the vibrate thread, but that wasn't what I was looking for. My search did not turn up the dialpad sound fix cab.
there is more than this one thread regarding vibrating dialpad. if this is not what you was looking for, than you could explain what you need in more details. link to sound fix was in keypad vibrate thread. please try searching. but for real this time. you can't expect to find solution with two clicks, you will need some time for serious customization of your phone.
Hi,
I have two questions:
- Lots of phnes have an option for "increasing volume at incoming calls". It then starts at an incoming ccall vibrating, then it rings very silently and gets louder. I don't know the corrent english word for that so it is hard for me to search the web. How is this callend in english?
- Is there an application for Android to have an increaing volume for incoming calls?
thanks,
michael

Thats not what he wants, hes asking for an app that will progressively increase volume of the ringer when the phone rings. I dont think an option or app exist but it would be nice

good call... one thing you could do is whatever ringtone you use is offset the start time to have a few seconds of silence for the first ring or two and then start softly and then get louder... here is a sample of what i mean... http://sharebee.com/39ba517e
