repeat the alert sound - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV General

i have the new asia rom 1.37, is there a tweak where i can repeat the new sms sound? its greyed out and i get a new wake up sms with sound but it only does it once. I want it to repeat...any help would be nice

I think you need 3rd party software, eg: phoneAlarm v2.03 from PocketMax.

and if you are using TouchFlo 3D, and need a non-today screen application to repeat alarms - try alarmPal!

Want to add "Ringer Mode Selection" as a Launcher Item in HTC HomeScreen

I've got the 6 tab "HTC Homescreen" plugin installed on my AT&T Tilt.
Upon installation it included "Ringer Mode Selection" as one of the (9) launcher items. I accidentally removed it and now want to add it back, but when I attempt to re-assign it in the launcher, it doesn't appear in the app programs selection assignment list.
This launcher item is the one which allows you change the phone "ringer status" (on, off, vibrate, auto), and displays four ringer status boxes (icons) to select from. This item also displays & allows you to change the default ringtone sound.
How can I can get the phone "ringer status" selection item to appear in my launcher list again?
Thanks
Jazz
Ringer Mode Selection is actually a HTC Homescreen TAB
Thanks to Kavi's help via PM, I found the answer:
'Ringer Mode Selection' is actually one of the six HomeScreen TABS (Profile Tab), and not a launcher item as I mistakenly thought. I've now got the Profile (ringer mode selection) TAB back via HTC Home Customizer.

Umm just a word of caution if you use that tab and use calendar reminders. There is definitely some flakiness in the interaction between those 2 functions.
E.g. if you use calendar and have have events chime in to remind you of those events, then switch to slent or vibrate, sometimes those reminders will get shut off and wont ring even after you switch back to ring mode.
This has been a known proven issue for some time with the HTC Home app's "profiles" tab functionality. I thought it was fixed on the Kaiser, but I now know that it is still an issue. Its an issue with how it manages notifications in the WM database.
If you don't care about notifications, then it doesn't matter. But if you do, beware that sometimes you won't get your reminder notice or sound even if you switch back to ring profile after using the silent or vibrate profiles for even a short while.
I've since removed that tab from my HTC Home via the HTC Home Customizer app, and only use the Comm Mgr "Ring/Vibrate" toggle to make the switch back and forth. It works without causing the same issue above. A couple more presses, but nothing compared to missing meetings cuz the reminder doesn't fire.
Profile Tab (ringer settings) - "Sound: Automatic"
Jomo25, thanks for the heads up about the possible conflict with profile (ringer status) tab & calender reminders.
That said, can somebody tell me what the far right most 'ringer setting' called:
Sound: Automatic is supposed to do? Thanks.

Nice! So that is why that happens I could never quite place it when it happens once and a great while.
Know of any other good "touch based/home screen" profile selector?

Automatic Sound Profile in WM 6.5?

This might sound really stupid, but...can anybody tell me how to set my sound profile to "Automatic", so that it will turn to vibrate whenever I have an appointment?
I got used to TF3D, but now I'm trying a WM6.5 rom and couldn't find this option.
So I guess this option is a TF3D exclusive?
Final attempt?

Automatic Vibrate/Silent

TouchFLO 3D has the option to do Automatic Vibrate according to the calendar, but I'm using the default Windows Mobile 6.5 Today screen which doesn't have that feature. I'd also prefer Automatic Silent instead of Vibrate.
Are there any programs that can recreate Automatic Vibrate/Silent functionality that do not need to take over the Today screen? Apparently PhoneAlarm and PhoneWeaver are both capable, but they both need to make use of the Today screen so they are not options.
No one?
G-Profile is the most badass thing out there.
Mine automatically mutes at night, automatically turns on incoming email sounds during the day (work profile), and no email notification on evenings / weekends. Additionally, "busy" appointments switch to vibrate.

Alerts/Dismiss on Touchflo3D screen

Just got the HTC touch pro 6850 from US cellular last week (had a HTC 6800 before). This new phone is great and I like the Touchflo3D screen, but I want to have the alert messages on the bottom of the screen like the 'classic' screen has (they would stay on the softkeys on the bottom until you dealt with them). The ones where I have to dismiss them before it goes away. Is there a 3rd party app that will do this? I've loaded Diamond TF3D Config, Diamond Tweak and Fabliv Action Screen 9 and none of these seem to have an open to get the alerts back.
Also is there an issue with this phone missing calls? I seem to get a lot of voicemails but the phone never rang.
Thanks for you help
i am afraid that in touchflo3d you wont get sms alerts on screen. For a that you can install s2u2 latest edition . it has a wonderful display of sms on screen even of miss calls and reminders. If you havent insatalled S2U2 u r missing something great with Windows Mobile.

Thanks! This is definately a keeper.
Maybe I'm missing this but it only seems to let me see the previews of the tasks and calander reminders when the screen is locked. If i click on the e-mail or SMS reminder icon it doesn't open a preview window. Is there a way to turn on previews for them?

Reminder application

My Kaiser has a Shifu3 WM6.5 ROM.
In this ROM, with TouchFlo Today, the reminders pop up with a white window showing the appropriate text.
Either pressing Snooze or Delete, the reminder application closes itself by calling Today screen.
Even if I was working on other application (i.e. Facebook) at the moment of the reminder.
This is a problem, as I want to use a different Today (SP Home Shell). But if SPHomeShell is enabled, the reminder application calls, when closing, anyway TouchFlo today, that is disabled, so the phone stucks with a totally white today.
So i simply ask:
1) does it exist a way (registry?) to set TouchFlo reminder to close itself calling the "default Today" (or, better, by simply closing itself not calling any different application) instead of TouchFlo Today?
2) This reminder tool only shows "Snooze" or "Delete". The problem is that Snooze has a fixed time (I suppose 5'). Standard WM reminder has a snooze menu, that is much more useful. I'd like very much to find the way of using default WM reminder instead of this one....
Thanks
Alberto
