when in mobile view, incase u r in the middle of the page, can u scroll to the top of the page directly like iphone?
There are no scrollbars and it really becomes difficult to navigate to the top of bottom of the page directly epecially while reading forums like xda-dev etc.

U should use your finger to move the page. You can use also the enter button. Go around with your finger and it will zoom in/out.

For Smartphone with WM5 or above you can navigate the Menu by pressing the direction key up and down to move to the next page and eventually cycle back to the first page.
With Wings it always sticks in the same page. I need to press the 'More' menu to move to the next page. Is this the case for you?
Is there a registry setting that can be altered to solve this problem
Thanks.

Yeah, I dont have my set to scrolling, but I set it to the list with smaller icons, and in that mode if I push the right direction it does a page down for me, and left is page up.
And in that thread (think its the right one) for the scrolling text some people have not noticed that they have to create the key for it...

Thanks. Problem solved.
Scrolling works for icon view with up/down
For list view, scrolling works with left/right key instead of up/down.
In the advanced config program you can choose to make the d-pad either scroll a page or go between each link on the page. Changing this options makes the d-pad and scroll wheel on the side do the same thing.
Is there a way to make the scroll wheel scroll and entire page and the d-pad to go between each link?
bump, maybe even just a yes or no...

I was looking for a way in the stock browser to jump to the top of the page when scrolled to the bottom of a long webpage. When reading a long article or something with lots of comments this would be a nice feature. if there isnt a way currently, which i dont thinkg there is, someone could come up with a tweak to the stock browser to jump to the top of the page it would be sweet.
nope it doesnt exist. but if you really give a few fast swipes in a row, you be surprised this kinetic scrolling will go extremely fast to the top.
Hi,
I bought a Galaxy S 2 weeks ago,and noticed that in Web Browser,if i touch the screen and do a slide move from right to left or from left to right,i can't do a slide move from up to down of down to up(i dont pull my fingers off from the screen while doing the moves)
for example i opened a page from web browser and zoomed in..if i scroll the page from left to right,i cannot move the page upwards or downwards after that horizontal slide...(if i scroll from up to down-or down to up,i cannot move the page from left-to rigt or right to left too)(and my finger is still on the screen)
this bug happens in only straight way slide-scroll moves.the only way i can do a 360 degree move on a zoomed page is if i start the slide move in cross directions-not straight directions).then i can move the page where ever i want.
I tried this bug on stock 2,1 - 2,2 - 2.2.1 ROMs,on Darkys v5,5 - 5,6 Roms,on stock kernel,on voodoo kernel,on Stock Web browser and on Dolphin HD, i did cache - Data wipe factory reset sd format lots of times and the result is always the same.
Finally i went to shop to try a new Galaxy S to see if this bug happens to other phones, and Yes it happened to that new Galaxy S too.
A 50 € phone doesnt have this bug but a 500 € has it :/
Can anyone help me to solve this problem or know what cause this bug(or is it really a stock bug)?
anyone for help?
I don't know whether that is a bug or not. I know the behaviour you're describing and I see it as a feature. It allows for smoother vertical scrolling when reading long articles.
I wouldn't want this changed.
so does it lock itself to that direction we scroll-for a smoother scrooling, and not allow us to change to any other direction while our finger is still on the screen? :/
i scroll up the page, then if i want to slide the page through left a bit,i must pull off my finger from the screen first, and touch the screen again to slide left...
they could give smoothness with another way,if they do this on purpose for smooth scrolling :/
I'm more likely to scroll vertically reading a long web page than I am to be scrolling vertically and horizontally simultaneously.
Is it taking you much time or effort to lift your finger and press it back down?
npe,its just annoying for me,cant do a 360 degree move without pulling off my finger,if i do a vertical or horizontal slide before :/
thanks for answer
When you reach the 3rd page from the home screen, is it possible to make scrolling pages unlimited? I.e if you were to scroll to the 3rd page on the left side and scroll left one more time it'll go to the 3rd page on the right side.
Sorry if this is confusing hopefully someone understands x).
