Trinity update

hello
i tried to update my trinity with WM6 which i found in forum.
i think i´ve done all steps until this 4 colors on my device.

IPL-SSPL by Des
Trin100
SPL-1.07.ds
usb
is shown. no light is on. but then on my pc is shown "error:connetion"
"please check the cable/cradle" and everything stops.
on my pc ist vista and the trinity is a vodafone "branded"
after a softreset everything is like before. nothing is lost.
has anyone an idea?

I usually succeed to tune, update and correct my pc alone by Reading The ****ing Manual and the Forums. But now for a simple upgrade of my Trinity I fail. I'm becoming crazy. Then I call for your help, ans post to help others like me.

My HTC P3600 is :
hard rest the htc (bottom hole)
reset : boot screen gives M05 B05 D1.23
Sys info gives :
ROM ver : 1.23.406.2
ROM date : 12 march 2007
Radio ver : 1.38.00.11
Protocol ver : 32.71.7020.12H
Rom ext ver : 1.23.406.103

I Prepare by REMOVE EVERYTHING FROM HTC, AND START FROM NEW BASE.
- card removed
- reset from the parameter menu, with code 1234
- setup Active sync (no data, no agendq, no mails, etc etc, just the files are sync)
- sync
- remove battery, restart
- sync

1/ UPGRADE SPL
Enter manually bootloader to check :
TRIN100
IPL-0.50
TRIN100
SPL-1.20.Olipro

Must have re,ained from all previous install test I did...
so reset (bottom hole)
2/ UPGRADE RADIO try 1
download http://colrou.free.fr/1.50.08.11.exe
manual enter bootloader (on+photo+reset hole)
get :
TRIN100
IPL-0.50
TRIN100
SPL-1.20.Olipro
plugin htc on usb cable (hear device connection, but active sync is not detecting any device itself)
run ROMUpdateUTility (RUU 3.1.3.2)
Run again ruu : ERROR 260 : no connection
run ROMUpdateUTility (RUU 3.1.3.2)
but stop on tricolor screen

then ERROR 246 : DEVICE NOT RESPONDING ARG !!!
run again ROMUpdateUTility (RUU 3.1.3.2)
but it stays sticked in bootloader screen and report ERROR 260 : no connection
2/ UPGRADE RADIO try 2
reboot
sync
run again ROMUpdateUTility (RUU 3.1.3.2)
ok... ok ...
from 1.23.406.2 to "ROMBaker"
confirm install on the htc screen
goes stucked to bootload screen :
Go to tricolor screen
TRIN100

then from RUU "ERROR 246 : DEVICE NOT RESPONDING"
run again ROMUpdateUTility (RUU 3.1.3.2)
but still stalled in bootloader screen and ruu report : ERROR 260 : no connection
2/ UPGRADE RADIO try 3
install enterbootloader
remove usb from activesync config
run enterbootloader on htc
fet
TRIN100
IPL-0.50
TRIN100
SPL-1.20.Olipro
run ROMUpdateUTility (RUU 3.1.3.2)
but get ruu report : ERROR 260 : no connection

Me too I managed to upgrade to P3600 WM6 - ADW-edition - English RC-2 version but when I tried to upgrade to NEW PDAMobiz WM 6.1 Trinity or any other rom I could only managed to get to the Tri-color the phone hang at Tri Color spl by des and then connection is lost the Ruu updater could find connection to my d810 ..... I hope someone could tell me what is my problems.

By the way I am using Vista.....

Solved ....I just use XP

i have same problem-error 246.i try everithing and no result.

Better to reflash original rom, i got hang once.... alway error 284 or 286.
Then kept loading the original till it finally back to official rom...
Now dare not upgrade rom...

ok, just want to make it short: (P3600 user)
1. I have WM6.1 ROM (FleNover 3.3 Black edition) installed.
2. When I want to downgrade to WM6 official, after 20% it goes error.
3. Now, it only shows 3 colors.
4. Here is my PDA information in 3 colors:
TRIN100
IPL-1.00
TRIN100 MFG
SPL-1.30.Olipro
5. When I want to upgrade with WM6 official, after my PDA shows the progress bar, it restarted and the update screen shows Error 286.
6. How do I fix it?

* PIM backup (backup/restore SMS, MMS, e-mail, contacts, calendar, tasks, call history and more)
* Settings Saviour (backup/restore preferences, settings, auto install cab files & xml on restore)

Charmer Help please!!!!!!!

Hi All, tried to updrade charmer to touch flo ver2.1 but had error that host disconnected, now will only boot to tmobile splash screen with this info (noticed os has changed but cant remember original) also tried soft and hard resets to no avail

I can also boot to the three colour screen and it recognises when the usb is plugged in but i cant seem to flash anything, i have tried a number of RUU but get different error messages, mostly that i need a newer upgrade tool or invalid vendor etc.
any help greatly appreciated

UPDATE: managed to flash this rom, (charmer_wm6_vlono_004.4) says all was ok but still stuck in tmobile boot screen??? info still the same

UPDATE: Managed to load latest tmobile charmer rom RUU_Charmer_38221_382116_026921_TMO_UK_WWE_Ship.exe
Will i be able to load touchflo 2.1 now?

i got the same problem and i fixed it^^
1. i started charmer in bootloader mode (press and hold power button while you reset with stylus)
2. i installed T-Mobile AKU 3.3 from handy-faq.de
3. i installed [vlodeck TouchFLO WM6 ver. 2.1]
works perfect^^

oh yeah.. i forgot

I used a crude method of fully charging the battery. I downgraded to the default T-mobile ROM that came with the unit. After the flashing process, was complete, the unit rebooted (as it was supposed to), then switched itself off after showing the SPL/IPL data for about 3 seconds.
The battery, was fully charged in a universal charger. To get it to turn on again, I have to remove the battery for a few seconds. A hard reset, doesn't fix the problem. I can still enter the boot-loader though
I've tried all the various ROM files on this site, with no success. Any suggestions?

I've PMed you saying that you can try flashing WM5 prophet rom. It should work.

HTC P3600 - Stop on wm mask

Last week i recived a call, I've pushed the green button and the telephon crashed. I restart the phone, but during the boot it write "no gsm" and it stop on windows mask. I've unbrick the SPL, I've installed the SLP 1.30 Olipro, I've try to install the radio rom 1.46.00 but it don't star, I've installed 3 different windows ver. 6.0 but when i switch on the telephon it write "no gsm" and stop on windows mask. I'm despered....... can any one help me?

Problems updating Radio

Hi,
I cannot manage to update my radio to the 1.00.25.05
I had my mda unlocked by olipro, which pushes HSPL 1.20.
I learned to upgrade to 1.40, which I downloaded and installed (it shows 1.30 during the upgrade)
But it doesn't work anyway, not on my XP nor on my Vista PC.
It works until the point where the progress bar on the PPC appears, but it stays at 0%.
After a while it stops with an error message (262 or 276 AFAIK)
What can I do?
