Is there a java application for windows mobile 6? is it java ME? can't seem to find the link to download/install..
Can anyone help me out?
Thanks..
Did you even try searching? You need to install a midlet manager, and there's a sticky full of cabs at the top of this very forum.
sorry friend i have installed dutty rom but there isn't java midlet and i can't install any *.jar file as opera mini
Where i can download it? (java midlet for wm6)
MY best regards
Francesco
Check Dutty's CAB-Collection (http://www.cinetsystems.com/xda/index.php?path=Kaiser+Cab+Collections/). For example use Intent_MIDlet_manager.cab.
Read the MIDlet Bible:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=339577
and the guide to 3D java gaming on Windows Mobile:
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/inde...ing 3D-enabled Java MIDlets on Windows Mobile
(both credit to Menneisyys) and you'll find all the answers you'll need.
My suggestion? Use the modified version of Joedek with M3G support (it's around here somewhere, use that search function) for any 3D games and Jbed for non-3D java midlets such as Opera Mini 4. Good luck.
I have noticed that some ROMs come with the Java application (allows user to run Java applets) but mine did not and i do not have it on Panosha 1.7, so i was wondering if anyone had a .cab for it?
Thanks

i also have panoosha rom and waiting for cab java

Hello,
i am coding and compiling with eclipse and trying my programs with SUN Java Toolkit 1.0. My programs run well with eclipse compiler and with the simulator of Sun Java toolkit, but, on my phone, my programs and the samples of the toolkit return an error :
TouchHome.jar ne peut ĂȘtre installĂ© car l'information critique est manquante dans le fichier MIDlet (MIDlet-Name). - 13. Veuillez contacter les fournisseur MIDlet pour plus d'informations.
My phone is a HTC Diamond
Esmertec Jbed build ID : 20080610.2.1
SUN Java Toolkit 1.0
Eclipse : 3.4.1
Do you have any idea of the problem?
Thank you in advance...
If u could translate the problem to English instead france , maybe we can help u more
Oh yes, sorry, I haven't seen!
TouchHome.jar can't be installed because the critical information is missing in the file MIDlet(MIDlet-name).-13.Please contact...
If u compile the program by yourself, why r u using old
toolkit ? , u can download newer for free...and u should use J2ME wireless toolkit, Im also using old version , but at least it's wireless Toolkit 2.2
After that in the project define (Project setting) MIDP2.0 and
CLDC 1.1
After that if u still have problems, maybe something with other setting in your project.
BTW, I m using the wireless Toolkit for compling as well, try to complie with it...
It's not an old version. J2ME wireless toolkit is used for CLDC whereas SUN Java Toolkit is used for CDC.

Another problem Sirs....
Friends,
I have win7 on my pc and have my viva. But I cannot install .netframework3.5 in viva.Always shows installation un successfull. I am using windows mobile device center.
Expecting ur valuable reply.
thanks.
Do you use Visual Studio 2008 as your development environment?
If so, why don't you deploy a simple application with .NET CFW 3.5 and install it on your device?
