Hi guys! First of all thanx for this forum!!! a question...is there a tool to activate BT immediately "discoverable"? I use quick menu and works fine but with "many" steps. I've installed Fabliv Action Screen that enable with one tap BT....but only connectable ( i use BT to connect my Helmet Nolan N-Com to TomTom Rider and Diamond, and i would like the more simple action).
Thanx again.
There's a cab for the Fabliv action screen to make BT discoverable, I'm using itand it works fine.
EDIT: here it is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2589152&postcount=36

Just upgraded from the Blue Angel to Cingular's 8125 Wizard and I'm like a kid on his birthday. I especially like being able to initiate a phone call from my HS850 BT. Curious if someone has the registry settings to point to Microsoft Voice rather than Voice Dialer.
Thanks in advance!

Voice command activate via btooth
goto "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\VoiceCommand\Path". Change the default value from "\Windows\SDDialer.exe" to "\Program Files\Voice Command\VoiceCMD.exe".
Now you should be able to activate Micrsoft Voice Command by pressing the connect button on your bluetooth headset.
Thank you SO much! Works flawlessly. Curious if anyone prefers the Smart Dialer rather MS Voice? It works so nice, even though sometimes it sounds like it's on helium....
Thanks again!
Man I just love this Wizard!

VoiceCommand is much better! To complete your wizard you need to get TomTom navigator 5 with the bluetooth gps receiver.
Found this regarding completely ripping out Cyberon Voice Dial...

Will this work on the T-mobile MDA? How do you edit the registry?

Thanks this worked great. I can even listen to music on my bluetooth headset now.
Hi guys.
Oh yes... I sure would love to use my BT headset as well!!
So I changed the default value for the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\VoiceCommand\Path" from "\Windows\SDDialer.exe" to "\Programme\Voice Command\VoiceCMD.exe" (I am using a german device) but it doesnt work. Anybody got this trick working on a Qtek 9000?
Thanks in advance!

where can I get a really chaep copy of voice command?
I tried this too and I can't get it work right. The BT button doesn't call voicecommand consistantly, and when it does, the synth speech from VC doesn't come through via the BT headset. Meaning If I say "Call Tony" I won't be able to hear VC's reply of "on Mobile or Home". This is annoying. I'm using US T-mo MDA Vario. Perhaps the path or the name isn't consistant across the board?
As for the person who got music to play through BT: is it stereo? How did you make that work? Why does that has to do with VC?

Did you also run the Registry Wizard tweak "Enable Bluetooth Receive". This is what allows the headset to receive the incoming sound from the Pocket PC. Also on my phone I have to tap my Bluetooth headset twice, but it is consisitent, and I can tell the Voice Command beep from the other tone.
Hi guys.
Looks like you need the right Bluetooth profile for this hack.
I first tried it with my old Sony Headset (HBH-30) using a "Headset" profile. I could use it for regular phone calls, but I was unable to place a call using Microsoft Voice Command. After this, I tried a Plantronics Bluetooth headset ("M2500 Mobile Headset") and this one came up with a profile called "free speech mechanism" ("Freisprechen" on my german device). This profile works like a charm; I only have to press and hold the call-button for a moment and MS Voice Command comes up.
The only frustrating thing is that the device has to be in "pda mode" to place a call using voice command. If I fold up my Qtekk 9000, it doesn't work; but at least I can use the headset in the car now.
Hope this helps
Amen
On my Cingular 8125 I didn't create any BT profile for Motorolla HS850. Typically I press the button 1 or 3 times slowly then I hear the VC response. With the 2.8.7.102 ROM the VC sounded like Tiny Tim but with this 2.16.9.101 it sounds like it's susposed to.
ROM version: 2.16.9.1 WWE

hi people,
i have a little problem with my kaiser, i cant access wifi connection thru the qwerty keyborad ( Fn + ok buttns).... anyway i can do it using the comm manager or the connections settings otherwise i cant..
Somebody knows what happened to my shortcut via qwerty keyboard?
Every comment will be welcome.
thank u .
nobody????
did you install any program that remaps the buttons of the qwerty?
I have been searching and searching this forum for an app to toggle wifi on and off on the Diamond. Had one on my Trinity that worked perfectly but it didn't want to work on Diamond.
Finally stumbled across this one on Kaiser forum
Works superb. I am now going update my mort script that toggles wifi on when pocket internet explorer or opera starts and off when it closes. I'm also going to assign it to soft key as a shortcut.
Is this the same one?
It's also in the Kaiser forum ...

No, it's just an .exe file that toggles wifi on and off.

I thought you can do that from the Comm Manager already?
It has that function on the 2.03 ROM.
the ultimate control app is HButton.
toggle BT, WiFi & anything else you want
Here's my Today screen with Bluetooth and Wifi toggles set as softkeys.
Thx

When I'm logged on my provider website, I'm able to send sms. Maybe you should try that...
Mymobiler works okay, but a bit slow though because of the screen lag.
Hi,
I use one of the Jeyo products. You can use mobile extender or companion. I think the companion works just great. Do a google search for jeyo and it's the first to pop up.
My Mobiler is the best for me !!
MyMobiler works very fine!
I use pocket controller for this, whit this program you have total controll over your phone, make a bluetooth connection and operate your phone from your pc.

Sounds a bit like Mymobiler, though Mymobiler doesn't have that BT connection option... Would you mind sharing some screen shots of Pocket Controller?

Hello, I wanted to make an inquiry to see if anyone can help me ...
I have a Diamond 2. In this cell is installed the new motion sensor (SDK4), the. Net 3.5 and the G-config in order to rotate the screen in "landscape" format.
The problem is I can not do that with the TF3D screens (though not really important) but I need to rotate the GPS Garmin screen!
This program (Garmin) appears in the list of additions to the "g-config" but when I open the Garmin to see the map, the reality is that the screen does not rotate!
Someone had the same problem? How we solved?
Thank you everyone for your help asn sorry about my english (i do not speak very well so, try to understand me please!)
Try to set rotation using TD2 Tools
Bruce Inman: thank you very much! i´ll try TD2 Tools and then i ll let you know how it goes!!
see you!
Bruce Inman, thank you again! i tired the TD2 Tools and everything work great!
Thank you!!!
