okay i don't know if i have a faulty one.. or if it's generally slow.. but it's soooo slow and i only got it yesterday.. is there any way to fix it? i haven't even changed the theme or anything... help would be appreciated thanks!

My ex-boyfriend left me his phone (QTEK9100) and I have really enjoyed using it. I have read here that it seems very popular to reinstall something called the K-JAM rom- why do you do this?? What are the benefits?

In your case, you would notice improved bluettoth performance. Also I personally find the k jam rom a slight bit more stable and I know it lets you use wifi g. Besides I do it because I can. It is nice to play, not so nice if all goes wrong. Especially when I let my wife know I am buying new phone.

My XDA Terra makes a really annoying noise while I am calling or get a call from someone (like a tweeting).
I think its a hardware problem and so the only way for me is sending it back to O2 for repair...
Now my actual problem: I´ve hardSPL my phone for using custom cooked roms. I have already found a thread for removing hardSPL but what i haven´t found is the original O2 XDA Terra Rom...!!!
So here my Question: Can someone please help and provide the rom for me??

You should have read more beforehand
As far as I know there is no original o2 XDA Terra Rom to flash back to... only the t-mobile ROM but that won't help you...

no matter send to them and they repair.... they donßt mind hard-spl...
in my case they didn´t!

It can be an Overclock Problem.
If you Overclock with BS too high you get this noise in some Programms or it can be there at all.
For me work's it in Phone mode not higher then 221Mhz and in Cam Mode 201Mhz. So you don't get the green pix too.
All other apps run 286Mhz w/o Problems.

LOL to late I just send the phone out to O2... But when I think of it you could be right.... I have enabled BatteryStatus to dynamicly overlock the phone up to 286MHz (works fine) but that could be the problem.... Nevermind I´ll have to wait maybe Im lucky and they find a hardware prob... Thx anyway!
Anyone got a Ignito yet? If so could you let us know whats on it, share experiences, what ROM etc..

Firstly, stupid O2 software, really laggy and giong through some of the guides I can't find device name ROM etc and has been dumbed down and crippled. Im probably over reacting, but evenwith a hard reset it is still here.
Still a noobie bu tneed to wait for more experienced people to post how they have flashed another ROM, Im not experienced and don't want to screw it up.

Is the likes of Opera, MSN Messenger, Windows Live and You Tube there? Did it come with a case?

Its flat, matt backed.
And yes Opera, Youtube, Windows Live & MSN are preinstalled.
And im my opinion the O2 firmware is great.
Ive installed a tweak program from this forum, and an autorotate in any prog tweak. With those im more than happy.
Got mine on friday.
Really pleased flat back, and after installing a couple of tweaks touchflo looks like the HTC version and is working a lot more speedy.
Only thing I'm struggling with is lack of quickgps (which is on my friends official HTC Touch Pro) getting a gps lock seems to take far too long. I've tried all the threads about installing it on this forum with no luck, any ideas on this would be great. Otherwise I'll just put up with it.

I have an XDA Diamond for few months. I placed my simcard in the diamond and it has signal(UMTS,GSM). But suddenly after ca. two months it lost ever and ever again the signal. Now I have definitely no signal. I flashed hard spl and tried many Roms and Radio Roms, but this did´t work. I think it´s a hardware problem. Now I´m very mad about this crappy phone, but I´m fourteen and have not so many money to buy a new one. Can anyone help me?

If you tried the stock rom, made a hardreset and it doesn't help ...

yes i tried it, didnt works, but the problem was before i flashed Hard spl and cooked roms.

If it was the original stock-rom of the brand from your diamond (rom+radio) and it didn't work, I think also it is a hardware-failure ...
Hi, guys, i have to admit im a noob with Samsung's bootloader as im been so comfortable with HTC and LG.... Ok, yesterday i flashed CyanogenMod from DarkyJVT (i assume totallydumbed recommended me that)
So, it was successful, applying some tweaks, bam! Cool, fast, S!
Later, im noticing the phone is overheating (while im on the net, surfing)... Does this mean its generally like that or is it me having this problem??
Meanwhile, im using Glitch Kernel v13 + 181 Nightly...
Second thing, is it ok to turn on brightness? (Ya, i know battery will suck) Cuz i noticing the screen has major internal lines of a previous firmwares (battery icon, and all in the statusbar), is this color issue??
As i said, im a noob to samsung, please help, big thanks!

me having the same issue as well;overheating when using the net..but I think this is general problem of the phone as such.the temp crosses 50c easy..
