Hi i'm quite new to this but think i'm getting it right. I've upgraded to hardSPL 1.30 olinex but when i try to install a custom rom i get stuck at 0% eventually it gives up and i've to soft reboot.
I've tried in xp and vista was wondering if anyone had any ideas.

the hardspl that you flashed requires roms to be signed. the one that you attempt to flash doesnt have the right signature so it wont flash. Either get yourself a signed rom or install hardspl 1.40 unsigned

I want to upgrade my diamond to the 1.93,but I can't.
I have tried using the signed Hard-spl and Unsigned Hard Spl each time it finishes in a minute and says that it has successfully completed but when the phone restarts,it is on the same rom. I have even tried the official rom upgrade from HTC E-club,that just gives me an error and guides me how ot get it back, please help
I know that its is pretty strange,I have searched but I have not seen a similar problem

Sounds like you've flashed the Hard-spl but not a ROM
After you flash unsigned Hard-spl, you need to flash any of the ROMs you like from the Rom Development forum after that. The Hard-spl merely opens your phone up so it can be flashed with another ROM but does not contain a ROM with and in itself.

the hardspl didn't work becuase I have entered the bootloader mode and it didn't say Olinex 40 ,or something like that,and like i said I tried flashing the offical rom from htc e club and that didn't work

I've just upgraded to a new Dutch rom, but since then I only have trouble.
I get different colours (like drivers are not loaded), it keeps getting stuck or resets itself, and nothing helps.
I've tried to put on a different rom, with succes, but I still have the same problems.
On startup, however, I see the right colours.
I also put back the latest original ROM, but no luck...
Can anybody help me?
guessing you have hspl 1.14 installed
Yeah, I reinstalled that, as one of the latest things I did.
The problem you describe happens when you flash a 1.56 based rom with 1.14 HSPL. First flash a stock 1.56 ROM (a new SPL is then flashed as well) or use the new HSPL. Then you should be fine. So no, it's nor corrupt!

Does it matter I have an NLD-version, and not a WWE?
Update: I cannot get a proper connection via activesync, and through the bootloader it stays at 0%, and after a while the update utility says no.

Not a noob to this, but new phone.
I have a Rogers GSM Xperia x1a
and i have tried everything i have read, and am simply trying to flash hardspl on this so i can continue onto doing a rom.
The PC gets to progress bar.. 0%
x1a matches 0%
never moves on either end,
then error 262 is displayed on PC
and i then need to remove battery from x1 to get it to reboot.
someone somewhere has had to bypass this.
I am in need of that knowledge.

ok, so i have been able to flash a rom, without hard spl....
and when i did this my spl is now 0.72
but i can only flash this one rom, and i dont even know what rom it is.
so im even more lost now.
i don't know witch windows do you have but try just to run the custum ruu with coptability mode win xp sp3
using vista, and it has to do with hard spl. or the phone itself, as i can update roms if they are stock updates.
Usually the 262 error has to do with not hard spled or not properly hard spled. Try to install hard spl again and check the tri color screen if it has really been installed.

well, i have no idea wtf i did.
well i do know i didnt do anything LOL
i decided to run hard spl 1 last time.
and ill be damned it worked.
no clue why but it worked.
just one advice. Please remove your Storage card before HardSPL X1
or else u will get error....while HardSPL

I have successfuly flashed my X1 and im installing costum rom on them.
But now friend came with his X1 wanting me to install custom ROM on it.
I started Hard SPL unlocker and everything gone OK until it came to bootloader mode. Windows installed all drivers without problems but progress bars on both phone and pc were at 0%. After about half minute waiting at 0% it thrown out error 626. After that i taken battery out and back in and phone boots normally with Stock SPL.
A am suspecting that problem is in Stock SPL version. I have 0.72 while in Hard SPL thread it says 0.52 and maybe Hard SPL is not supported on this version.
I have searched about 626 but didnt find any solution.
Please help.

Just got that error yesterday while updating my Rom and OS go to Settings, Connections, USBto PC, then choose active sync and check enable advance network. You might need to reboot your host pc to recognize changes on you mobile device.
Tried both checked and unchecked and dont work
I have managed to solve it!
Problem was newer Stock SPL.
What i did is installed image that contained old 0.52 SPL and now i can finally install Custom ROMS

I just bought a new Topaz. I have HardSPL and then tried to apply a new ROM. Now it keeps on rebooting - it only gets to the screen where it says TOUCH DIAMOND 2 - and the the red numbers appear in the lower right corner - and then it reboots..
Is it bricked or is there anything I can do??

No not bricked.
Must be an incompatible ROM or you didn't HSPL to 2.51.
Just find another ROM, Stock or otherwise (since you are HSPL'd, but check your version first), go into Bootloader Mode and flash with RUU.exe.

I'm still having problems though. I have tried to install a few different stock ROM - both 6.1 and 6.5. Everytime the same issue - I get stuck on loading the new ROM and it keeps rebooting.
I have tried to upgrade spl to 2.51 but still the same issue
What else can I do??
What does your SPL show in bootloader mode?
Make sure it has Olinex as a suffix.

Yes it says Olinex.. When I first got the phone I tried to install a new ROM and I forgot to do SPL first - could it be that something serious went wrong in that attempt?

Is it 1.83.Olinex or 2.51.Olinex?
Flashing a ROM w/o HSPL will most certainly mess up your device but it should be recoverable if you can find your stock ROM for your carrier and region.
You symptoms sound as if you are on 1.83 trying to flash 2.51 SPL ROMS.
Hi, im having the same issue as OP, i tried to flash the latest Energy rom (sept 8) onto my td2 and the bootscreen is showing 1.83.Olinex. What do i do to fix this?
You must have HSPL 2.51 for this ROM and for all newest roms.
