I was stunned by the fact that my MDA Compact IV still has the ancient Calculator looks. I am really puzzled as to why this isn't faced up like the diamond looks
luckily I found this one VGA skin for the calculator:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=413583
sorry dumped this message into wrong section :-( belongs in themes& applications
This skin is for the SPB Calculator not the default WM one.

So could you explain to me why it works just fine on my Diamond which hasn't got SPB Calculator installed?

Be warned: Eten dialer disables SmartDial. But uninstall procedure works Ok.
Enjoy
Sweet Nice Vista Cab
I like the vista cab. I have been using the e-ten dialer for a while. Pair it up with this vista theme and you have a PPC that owns.

ivan wm5
great.... skin & smartdial....
Thanks ..
When I try to copy a new set of files over from a different skin I get an error message that the file cannot be written.
What am I doing wrong?
I'm having issues with my Eten Dialer all of a sudden on my 8525 (wm5, never flashed the rom). When I start to dial a number, all of a sudden my Contacts screen will pop up, which is highly annoying.
I uninstalled the dialer and reinstalled another color and still have the same problem.
Is it trying to activate the smart dial or something (which I know the regular version of the eten dialer doesn't have)?
Anyone else have this problem or can offer any advice?
Or if worse comes to worse, is there another big number dialer that works well on the 8525 that you can recommend to me?
Thanks!!!
Most of the Touch ROM's (black shadow/satin, etc) had a back calculator with large buttons.
I've search this board up and down, but cannot find a cab for this alone.
Does anyone have a link for a calc replacement that is simple yet smart. Not expensive OneCalc, just the freebie that gets put ion ROMs.
Try SPB Black47 calculator theme. You can download from http://www.spbclub.com/theme.php?theme_id=41
Cheers.
Just beware: I tried to install a skin for the native calc a while ago (it was also for SPB Calc), and the native calc application vanished. The only way I could get it back was after a hard reset!
You're right: I've just uninstalled it but I could not get native calc back. Temporary solution is to reinstall SPB skin and it works like before.
Isn't the original calculator.exe in Windows folder resides in ROM? (shouldn't it reappear if RAM file with the same name is deleted?)
Is this a free calc skin, or does one have to install an spb skinning app?
did not use my calculator before, but this should really be changed.
so if anyone has a nicer calculator app, that would be most welcome
i am not using spb, so a calculator skin that works without spb would be best

The standard Calc is so simple...
I use Hi-Calc for this, the best one (nice black theme/VGA/Landscape etc.)
Look at youtube HERE

It can be found at pocketgear.com for $25.00. It's sweet, but a little too expensive for me.

I find the buttons on the calculator on the Diamond to be too small. Can someone recommend a better one that works well with the Diamond?
Thanks,
Jon

You should have a look under the Themes, applications forum under the diamond where you will find a .cab file which makes the calculator look like the phone keypad. Heres the link:

Diamond Calculator
Try 1-Calc Lite and does metric-imp conversions too

I had this problem but fixed it by deleting calculator.exe, calculator_eng.txt, and spbcalc_p-vga.png.
Note that this SPB calculator not the Wincdows "Calc". it also doesn't have a landscape skin. I added this one to my Fuze:
1) does exist the sms chat system for windows mobile 6.0 like the wind mob 6.1..
2)does exist the sliding pannel theme for wind mob 6.0?
1 i tried some thread sms on app, but they didn't work
2 chome is availible only on wm6.1, but you could try the carousel from samsung i600... search the forums...
they doesn't work!......ok it doesn't matter....i will put the wm6.0 without this functionality.....thank you znial
there are some themes that copy the sliding panel for who doesn't get the wm6.1, they are really cool, but i think that the chome is better...
you can search for those themes on nectun or here in the vox subforums...
