Can't Install Jumpspl - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III Themes and Apps

I am new here and am trying to install a cooked rom to my tilt. I have followed the instructions to the Tee. I know I have to install jumpspl, then hard spl first. However, I am not able to get passed the first step. When I attemp to install the jumpspl I get an error message: "the file cannot be opened because either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found." It also said to restore the file or reinstall. I've been searching around for answers and all I get is to do a hard reset. Is this true? Can some please provide me with specific instructions on installing a cooked rom. I have NO experience with this. I really want to do this, but have been having a very hard time. I been working on this thing for hours. Please help. And please no smart comments. I really need help.

Having the exact same issue! unable to unlock, hardSPL or Update Rom on the device as JumpSPL just says:
"the file cannot be opened because either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found."
does the same for all versions of JumpSPL and SS-SPL
KAIS130
SPL-3.28.0000
CPLD-8
Any Ideas?

CIngular 8125 Freezes during bootup

I recently tried to upgrade my phone's radio rom file to a 2.25.11,
But I failed to realize that this was for people who had roms 2.x I still have a 1.x. Now every time I bootup, it takes over 90 seconds to do so, then it freezes at the part where I have to enter my 4 digit security code. I enter the first digit and it just freezes. Is there anyway I could revert back to the old settings, or heck... just fix it. I plug in the usb to my laptop, but it does not recognize it due to the fact that I don't believe it's completely booted up. Is there any help for me, or did I just created an expensive chalk block?
Thank You guys in advance.
BTW I did search this fourm for bricking of wizards and many other searchs but to no avail.
Go into the bootloader, connect the USB cable to the computer and the Wizard and reflash the stock ROM to the device.
Now, do a CID unlock and reflash with the ROM of your choice.
HTC Wizard
I went to the HTC's website and downloaded the Cingular ROM file, but when I launch the file it gives me this error.
The content of this file cannot be unpacked. The executable you are attempting to run has been corrupted. Please obtain another copy of this file, verify its integrity, and try again.
I downloaded it 3 times from 3 different PC's.... but same error.

First of all, the file from HTC is corrupted. Period.
Second, follow these simple instructions http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=47848&sid=79d9599e2f6c9c0ddc50fda4f116469e
Third, install whatever ROM you want.
For a ROM upgrade to be successfull you must unlock first and follow the instructions.
Sorry if I'm a little rough but this is documented and documented here, time after time.

Download the original Cingular Rom (1.08.11) from this ftp site. There is a problem with the new cingular rom posted at htcamerica.

Please help, and please dont abuse

Hi Guys, I have bricked my Cingular branded BA Siemens SX66 PH20B. I am getting the no GSM error, I have read the WIKI and read the thread that follows Help, my device shows "No GSM" after upgrading, and I can not perform any more ROM upgrades Link. I have tried the steps and nothing seems to be working, I guess I must be a complete noob but i have spent hours trying to get the radio to install and nothing will work. I have spent 6 or 7 hours looking on here before i requested help I was running the radio unlock when a tree took out the power line to my house. I edited the ruu.conf and that didnt help I ran the MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe and it will update my rom with no problems at all it just hangs at the radio install and wont go anywhere i get a "Error 114: Radio update error" If someone can help I would appreciate it.
Might help.
I'm not quite sure about your problem but I did get the same radio update error couple times. One thing that I had to do is to let my computer (active sync) recognize my device first. After that the redio update error is gone.
I got it fixed, what i did was install an original rom from seimens that i got at SX66 (Blue Angel) Standardization Project, itfixed the radio error and then i could reinstall the updates

Update Utility Error

I am trying to update my cingular 8125 with WM6.
I ran Hardspl successfully for G4 series but whenever I try to do the ROM upgrade, the bootloader window comes up and then I get the following error message:
"The Update utility cannot be used for your PDA phone. Please get newer update utility."
I have been searching the posts but I have not been able to find a solution to this. Can someone provide a feedback
ok,first make sure you got your phone 'HardSPL',what ipl/spl...? it displays after hardSPL,it shud be IPL 2.21.0001 and SPL 2.21 olip,if it shows this correct, then its HardSPL otherwise,do the HardSPL again.
Secondly download these files and use any one of them to flash the wm6 rom.Just either replace the "ROMUpdateUtility_Wizard_NoID.exe" OR "Ruu_480" with the Ruu.exe in the downloaded wm6 Rom OR pull the nk.nbf file only out of the wm6 rom and put it into the directory of this RUU and run it.
Cheers!
Success
Thanks for your help zabardast_1.
Shortly after I made the post I found this info hidden in one of the threads. I had my 8125 upgraded to wm6.1.
I recognized a few application bugs but overall, it works.

Serious problem with my kaiser

Hi guys,
I am asking if there is anyone kind enough to help me with my kaiser...?
the issue is the following, the first week wm 6.1 was released I upgraded my kaiser with no problem until last weekend.
last weekend navigating through your forum I decided to install TF3D and a hardSPL was recomended, I downloaded the file SJ_JumpSPL1.93-KAIS and run it on my kaiser. I believe the process got stuck on the 3 color display, I rebooted the kaiser and it seemed ok... but I am not able to navigate the web neither by GPRS or 3G...
this morning I tried to reinstall the kaiser from scratch with a RUU named _HTC TyTN II_RUU_Kaiser_HTC_WWE_Brightpoint_US_3.29.422.1_radio_sign_25.83.40.02_1.70.18.02_Ship
which I downloaded from the HTC website but an error didn't allow it to be complete: ERROR 294: INVALID VENDER ID
HDa3-KBKV5867-HUEbc572-KBKV55670
my goal is to update my kaiser to the look as the TF3D or the amine 2.0 or the Hiperdragon.
I ask anyone of you gentleman to URGENTLY help me fixing my kaiser as this my office tool...

Why do people continue to screw up their phones by not reading, not understanding what they are doing, and doing things half the way. Are you all just rich and don't care about bricking a $500 dollar phone ? You are lucky you are able to recover your phone at all
Jumpspl is not hardspl . Jumpspl transitions your phone from stock spl to hardspl. You cannot flash any rom stock or custom ,that isn't specifically made for your carrier, until you have hardspl on your phone.
Read thoroughly and follow all the steps here, do not take short cuts and do not skip ahead,

Press and hold camera button and power button and do a soft reset to get into bootloader to see what it says.

Go to the wiki and find the original rom from your carrier and flash that ie: AT$T , T- Mobile, orange , 3 etc. Then after doing trhat try all the steps in the flashing for noobs thread again.
the only problem is that I bought the phone not from a carrier but from a store in Portugal and the phone was unlocked...

[Q] EnergyROM Upgrade

I've been having a lot of issues upgrading to the Energy.RHODIUM.29007.Sense.2.5.Cookie.2.0.Jan.23.7Z for my Tilt 2. I've tried everything on the "Flashing your First GSM Rhodium Rom" post, and I have been unsuccessful. Even the HardSPL download have failed. My Active Sync will not stay connected when attempting the to download the ROM, receiving a 262 Update Error. The Rhodium HardSPL Flash will not sync with my phone, first receiving error "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permission to access the item" - now after deleting and redownloading the HardSPL file, there is no file found. I rufuse to give up on this upgrade, so can you please help me?
Try a different USB port bro... that solved the similar issues I was facing..
If you're having Hard SPL issues, then why not post in that thread? Read the first two posts of that thread carefully.
Thanks; I'll give it a shot.
Sorry about the double threading; there was a lot of frustration in me at the time.
