VOIP working on earpiece speaker (via Fring) - Touch Pro, Fuze Themes and Apps

Folks it has finally happened, the SIP plugin in Fring no longer requires the loudspeaker to function. Its working perfectly over the ear piece so you can use VOIP whilst holding your phone normally.

Faulty Audio Routing

I am curious if anyone knows how to properly route the audio from the speakerphone on the rear of the phone to the earbud on the front of the phone? Skype audio calls play on the back of the phone. I also bought a Bluetooth headset to solve this; however, only standard call audio is routed to the headset.
I tried using Skype Receiver Switch and the sound still didn't route to the front of the phone.
I also attempted to use Bluetooth Audio. That program routed the sound to the bluetooth headset, but the microphone on the Bluetooth headset wasn't sending audio back to the device.
The only reason I bought this TILT was for the Skype purpose and that seems to be an impossible situation!
if you bought the tilt solely for voip, then you bought the wrong phone. AT&T doesn't support voip on their wireless network yet so that's why all the voip and video phone stuff was disabled out-of-the-box.
Now as for Skype, that should work fine and should push the audio thru the correct speakers. Did you try installing skype right after a hard reset? Maybe there's something else installed that's interfering with it.
How would I do a hard reset? I don't know of anything on the phone that would interfere with it? And, before doing a hard reset, is there a way to backup all of the contacts and events, and even possibly the data, that I have on the phone? I just need to get Skype working as I'm facing a deployment soon and this will be my primary means of calling back home... Thanks for your advice.

VoIP from the wrong speaker

Hi,
I just managed to make the VoIP function of my Kaiser work, but I ran into a problem.
Apart from the sound quality being plain horrible (and I belive it's not the WiFi what's at fault), the voice always goes from the speaker on the back of the phone. Switching between the speakerphone and the normal speaker (for calls) doesn't change anything, it really *always* goes from the speakerphone. I thought that only additional VoIP clients have this issue and not the built-in one.
Is there any known fix and I just failed to notice it in the forums?
Thanks.

Skype sounds from the back speakers

When I talk on skype the sound comes from the speaker on the back panel. It is quite uncomfortable? How to make it , so to hear the other person from the ordinary speaker from the front panel, just like talking on the phone.
Thanks
handsfree
I used skype only on my Niki but couldn't make it sound on the earphone just on the back, so I decided to use the handsfree and it did the trick very well. It is even more confortable if you talk a lot on skype. The only problem is that I can't charge it when I use the handsfree. Maybe try using a handsfree via bluetooth
skype to earpiece?
teksoftco.com has a tool called audioroute.. would this be of help?

Fring Headset Mic problem

I don't know if anyone realized that when you are making video calls or voice calls on fring if you plug your headset (samsung headset with mic) other side can't hear you. Your mic stops working. It has to switch to the mic on the headset but instead none of the mics are working (on phone and on headset). If I remove the headset it works again with phone mic.
I also put regular headphones (without mic) instead of samsung's and it works.do you know how to make it work with headphones with mic? Does anyone having the same issue? I always carry samsung's headphones so I wanna make it work with it.
Thanks

Using voice outside of calls with BT headset

I've got a bluetooth headset (Nokia BH-503) which works great for calls and music.
However, I tried using it with the Teamspeak app, and found out the voice is still being recorded from the phone mic itself.
To add on this, when I try to record (with the built in app) or use voice commands - It doesn't work (It doesn't record through the mic. It just doesn't work at all.)
Is there a way to use a BT headset as a mic outside of calls? It's obviously possible, since it works on calls, but what about everything else?
