Yesterday I saw an IPhone app and I thought it was pretty cool.
You could take a picture and share it through some server. Then you'd see a picture from someone taken at the same moment and you could either accept the picture and open a "chat" session (not chatting with text but with pictures) or take another picture and start again.
You have to communicate via some server so I don't think it'd be easy to set up but I was just wandering ...
Does anyone know any existing app?

All of a sudden I am unable to attach a file or picture in an email. When I create a new email and select insert and then picture, I am able to view all the pictures, photos I have on either the phone or SD card memeory. I then select one and I am brought back to the email but there is no attachment added. If i then goto Pictures and Videos, and click on a picture and select send nothing happens.
However I am able to send pictures, photos via MMS. Does anyone know why I cant email pictures, files, or photos? I have the default radio and software on my tilt. Thanks.
Anyone?

Simply put there are too many problems with this phone, its not worth to heavily mod it just to be able to use simple features like sending a picture text.
I am already looking for a new treo, this is the worst phone i have ever used in my life.
Once i get my new treo i will smash this HTC with a bat and post on youtube.
I hate this phone with more than a severe passion.

MizzenMast54 - Shut up.
gehcmatt - what ROM are you using?
Seeing that a few of us seems to have these things now, have any of you that have, managed to get this Facebook thing working yet?
Apparently, The people/Contacts part of touchflo is supposed to link into Facebook natively when you use the profile picture as the contact picture. But every time i try to change my contact picture, it crashes with a Dr. Watson error report.
Tried using the new contact picture as my Facebook profile picture and nothing seems to work. The Facebook app from elsewhere on XDA-Devs works fine, but does not bring the info into the people tab like the Diamond 2 is supposed to.
Seems that 1.29 may not be totally complete just yet.
Oh, and does anyone else's 1.29 ROM seem to be missing Opera Mobile??
When I try to send a photo by selecting share and then using Gmail, it just gets saved as a draft, but never goes out. Also, only the photo gets saved, but not the recipient's e-mail or body text.
Did anyone run into this problem and know how to solve it?

No, but there is a free app on the market called attach email, you can send anything your heart feels with this one, and still use your gmail acct. as the sender address
It's a nice app, but it does not solve my problem. My problem is that when I attach the image and send it, the e-mail gets saved as a draft rather than sent out.
I did a little more testing at is seems to only happen on 3G - doesn't happen on WiFi :-/
This might sound daft but I'm at a loss. I got an email with a photo on it. The photo shows inline in the email and not as a separate attachment. I need to save the photo but pressing on it does nothing.
Any ideas?

I just tested this. It appears there is no way to save it. Tapping and holding does nothing and there are no options anywhere to save attachments. I think if it's in-line, you're screwed. I have seen this on other devices. They basically treat it like HTML.
Crazy.
Time to log this with HTC. Basically an email from an iPad and I assume iPhone will create this problem.
So earlier today I was attempting to grab an online photo of someone to associate with a contact so I don't accidentally reject the call (I tend to just let people I don't know go to voice mail). So I looked up the number with Firefox/duckduckgo, found the photo I wanted, did a press/hold and the menu pops up. Select 'Set image as' and then selected Contacts.
Contacts then crashes (I tried it twice, with the same result, except the second time it asked to close app or send feedback, vs restart app and send feedback.)
So is this a bug? Or is it me thinking the phone should be smarter than that? I mean is Contacts thinking I'm opening it AS a Contact? And since all it sees is a jpg, it crashes?
This seems like it'd be good functionality. now I wonder if Bixby would look up a photo and put it into a contact for me....
