I have L26 V9 6.1 professional rom...and i am having trouble using third party on screen keyboards. Ive downloaded and installed cootek touchpal, pocketcm keyboard and htc touch qwerty and none of them work. I have installed the sipchanger app also to make the onscreen keyboard stick after a soft reset but i cant even get the keyboard to come on the screen after i instal them succesfully, I go to start > settings input and once i choose the new keyboard, usually in WM 6.0 the keyboard would show up then i would need to use sip changer to make it stick....but when im in input settings the keyboards wont even show up on the screen. I dunno if this is a rom problem and i should post this in the rom section but is their another sip application i can use to make keyboards show up? sip changer isnt working for me but when i used duttys 6.1 apr 29 rom , my keyboards worked so i duunno whats up with the v9 rom......can someone help me figure this out so i can get an on screen keyboard to work...this rom didnt come with another third party app keyboard so i desperatly need another on screen keyboard other then this really small default white one...someone plz help
SIP keyboards
Same thing happenning to me. I have tried different third party .cabs and everything seems fine with the installation, but when I go to select the diamond keyboard nothing happens. Even if I use SIPchanger. It will do nothing.....
I got to work once, but then it stopped again. Some help please.

Plus I know for darn sure that there are multiple answers in the v9 thread on how to do it.
You know how long that thread is? how long do we have to keep reading crap just so that we can get a decent answer? Why not just save us the trouble and tell us the answer here?
Well I'll search for it since I'm not lazy... but it would have been better if someone actually responded to this thread with a real answer.

The problem with your theory, is that others may have the same issue in the future. Then, when they go the the rom thread to which the problem pertains, they can't find the answer because it is in a whole other sub-forum instead of being in the rom thread.
If you are having issues with a rom, go to that thread and post your issue. Then when a fix is found, it is in the rom thread for future users to find.
I appreciate your frustration, but it is for the betterment of the community for the problems and fixes to be posted in the rom thread to which they pertain.

I've had some problems with TFDetacher so I lost it and a slight problem with WKTask, though it's functional and it's only an aesthetic problem. Was wondering if anyone knows about this or if you can post any program you've found that doesn't work. Maybe make a list. Searched but found nothing on this. Thanks for any info.

I havent faced any problems with any programs till now. I would say go ahead and install the apps and if there is any issue check the forums or raise a question. But i think you should be fine.
I know WKTask (or one of the task managers) has issues with WM6.5.
I've installed all of the same programs I used on WM6.1 and haven't had a problem with any of them.
Some apps don't use the WM6.5 native scrolling, so if something requires TouchFlo to scroll, the scrolling might not work, but the app should still work.
Trial and error it is. I've had some problems with WKTask, too. Black box in the upper right hand corner and I think it was causing my start menu not work. This thread can be closed. Thanks for the info.
I got a HTC Diamond with Touchflo 3d
At the bottum there are 2 buttons Phone and programs
Is there a posability to change these buttons to something else like
Agenda and contacts?
At my old phone it was posible (HTC Touch)

Hi guys,
I have been a long time browser of this forum, I had downloaded a few roms from here before including the 6.5 one. However, a while ago my xperia screen broke (I think it was a hardware issue because it had all lines going across it when in landscape mode). I went to repair it, they wouldn't, so I decided to buy another xperia. So now I'm back to 6.1.
My friend had put a 6.5 rom on his nokia the other day, however it had the start bar at the bottom, instead of the top like I used to.
Can anyone show me a link to a rom with the start button on the bottom which is reliable.... pictures would be great.
If anyone thinks getting this rom is a bad idea, then are there any other suggestions?

Look for 23*** ROMs, the latest releases are pretty reliable.
Just look in the threads for screenshots and comment on the ROMs.

There is so much variety out there. It really depends what you want to get from your device. Just have a look through the ROM section and pick out one with what you need.
