PINoptic new security program - Touch Pro, Fuze Themes and Apps

Hey guys. I came across this on fuzemobility (fuzemobility.com) and wanted to see if anyone had anymore info about it.
Its called Pinoptic: http://www.pinoptic.com/index.php
Anyone have any ideas if we can get this on our phones? I beleive the SDK is available from their website also...

YES - it is available
I heard from these guys that they have written the app for WM phones from v5 upwards - so watch out for downloads from Handango and others - they say it is about to be launched.

EmWeather Canadian weather application

Dear Canadian htc magic/sapphire/dream/android users (and our international friends that visit Canada),
I just put up the beta version of EmWeather, my new weather application. It is very functional and looks nice. Most other weather apps do not provide this extended information or just have hooks to open weather underground websites (ie. slow and annoying). On top of that, most apps pull from Weather.com which, for Canada anyway, is next to useless.
Environment Canada provides excellent, surprisingly accurate, and very detailed forecasts for the whole country. This app aims to make this information easily available.
Features:
- Free, open-source
- Pulls data feeds from Environment Canada
- Shows current details and 8 extend forecasts on the main screen
- Easy access to detailed forecast information
- Ability to choose any city in canada, no need to do an independent search for obscure city codes.
- Wonderful GUI look
Coming in the next release:
- Alternative icon packs
- French language
Enjoy!

Hi!
Hi, I'm not sure. What device? I only have an HTC Dream, as far as I know it should work on any android device, though I have to admit it is pretty hardcoded to the screen size.
I'm from montreal too
0.9.1 update
Hi, I just fixed a small silly bug that crept in. 0.9 shows every day as being the "Evening", this is fixed now

Well....I know it's an HTC forum, but.....oh well my device is a omnia. And just so the people that run this site know, XDA is the place for Windows mobile devices and for MANY programmes, for exemple S2U2 and S2P. And the other sites don't have 1/5 of the information and activity that XDA as....
Thankx

I meant to say I have an HTC Magic, but still, it's the same.
Android is a totally different operating system (based on linux), there's really no way to get it to work with windows unless there is an emulator out there. I can't imagine having to program for a windows phone, sounds like a nightmare
Sorry!
Em
Hey i'm from montreal too! Thanks for the app I like the fact it's using the environment canada data.
That's OK, thanks

android mini golf

anyone got a working link to the android mini golf beta apk ?
i cant find the game on the market anymore and all the weblinks ive tried end up in 'page cannot be displayed'.
(and the links suggesting they must be opened on the android device, dont work since the beta doesnt seem to be on the marketplace)
One page suggested the paid version is now available, but cant find anything on the marketplace or linked developers website.
lost the beta from my Hero after putting the new Tmobile rom on

Very few apps...

Hello folks!
I bought a Galaxy Gear and I am not very impressed by the quantity of available apps. I know this is a new product and there was no development yet. Do you guys have any clue if some developers are working or will work on it soon?

I have 35-40 apps. Most of them are clocks or useless things. Where are you located to have only 14 apps? I guess this is based on the country...? I am in Canada.
Can't wait to read my facebook or twitter notifications directly on my watch...

You're right
I am just a little anxious because I paid like 370$ for this device and you know, sometimes, companies are making devices and if they don't sell enough, it is forgotten and users are abandoned.
Ok, maybe I am too defeatist haha! Let's be patient
so this in another post looks good for apps we want

Will try to install Nova and other apps that I will extract from my phone via adb.
Samsung did say they had 70 apps in total they had partnerships with. The issue with the smartwatches will always be how did the mfg implement the OS its not like a simple android os update it could be very different and cause issues from one device to another.

Where are the 70 apps? No SDK yet?

I had read there were supposed to be like 70 apps (Tripit was one), but there are only a few. Where are they all?
Also I don't think an SDK has been released yet for the Gear, has anyone found one?

I don't recall seeing anything from Samsung stating how many apps would be available at release, But I do wish there were more. I'm sure they are coming now that the majority of owners have a very different view of the Gear than the reviewers. I thought I read a review somewhere that had Samsung stating the sdk would be out after launch and before Dec. I'll try and find it.
I'm sure the SDK and the push for third party development are tied to this...

They are coming for more... Relaxed!
I am looking for trip it for sure or flight tracker

[Q] Pebble and Windows Phone

With the release of Windows Phone 8.1 will we ever see an official app from Pebble to control the watch on Windows Phone devices? Is it the usual reason of Pebble not believing in the market demand (I want an official app and others do to if the official Pebble forums are anything to go by) or does the Windows Phone 8/8.1 OS make it so limited to get full functionality out of a Pebble?
Does anyone here have a Windows Phone based device and a Pebble?
Thoughts and comments welcome.
Many thanks - Ian
I do have a Pebble and a Windows Phone... Still waiting for the app.
Hopefully this one is real and gets released soon to the public/or the full app...

I deeply hope that this app will be availabe soon, too. Love my WP and love my Pebble. But unfortunately all available 3rd party apps so far do not work properly or do not fit all functions.
