I have this strange problem, recently happened. My touch pro screen will turn off, 5 seconds after you leave it idle. I have set it to 1 minute and no difference, 5 seconds and it shuts off.
On charging mode its fine, it just dims as usual but wont shut off. Its only on battery it goes to sleep ultra fast.
Anyone encounter this before?
Thanks!

Hey there.
I have my HTC S730 for nearly 2 months now.
I don't know why but my Wings plays a strange melody and then turns off.
Even if the battery is fully loaded! After it turned off it takes a long time before i can turn it on again. I can push the start button on the top of my smartphone but nothing happens.
I don't know what it is. I Hardresetet my device 3-4 times now but it's still not working correctly.
Can you please help me?
Did anyone recieve the same "error"?
I have the same error!
But no solution.
It happens sometimes, mosty not logical... I'll wait for a few weeks, if it keeps on i'll go back for warranty!
What are you running when the reboot occurs? Never looked but is there a way to schedule it to do such a thing?
Does it display anything on screen before it happens? You might check in the power options to see if its shutting down due to some setting...
When I have some time I will dig through mine and take a look.
Off the top of my head I would surmise that its either overheating and shutting off, an installed application is causing issues and it is turning off, a setting within the phone is causing it to turn off, or something is wrong with the device.
May be caused by overheating. I have no other applikation installed on my Device since i Hardreset it. It shows up the HTC logo when it shutsdown.
I dont run any applications at all. Sometimes i listen to music with the Music Player.
When i start my phone up again (after some waiting time) it shows me that my battery power is 0. After some time of waiting it shows me that my battery is nearly fully loaded.
It only happens 1 or 2 times per day.
But please help me
It's not overheating in my case.
I saw it happen last time (5 minutes ago), just before the HTC logo is saw a little cross trough the battery indicator. I suppose the battery is not good? After reboot the indicator shows a full battery??
I would give HTC a call about those batteries. I would think that they are bad, or the phone is having issues drawing power from them and so it shuts off.
If its overheating it should be VERY warm to the touch, I have gotten mine warm but never hot after some heavy use, but I just let it cool off afterwards and it was just fine.
Usually with low battery it will flash a warning on screen and make a noise indicating low battery, but if the battery suddenly is in zero the phone could automatically shut off. Does it power off quicker than a normal shut down sequence? I would have thought that the phone would just run until it's instantly cut off by a dead battery, but if its misreading it or reads it in the danger zone it could have an auto shut down.
Had the same thing with my wings/s730.
After hard resetting it it worked fine again.
Hi Team.
I have an Z C6604, Andriod 4.3.
Phone has been doing this annoying thing
a majority of the time if you open the camera App while the battery is under 30% the phone will turn off. Once it is off, you can ask it to turn on, it will display the first loading screen then turn off - as if it does not have the juice to start.
If you plug it into a charger / or let it charge up - it will turn on just fine.
Today i factory reset the phone. When i did it the battery was 100 percent and on charge. When the phone came back it was somewhere in the low 70 percent and on charge. This indicates some sort of batter miss-information reading to me.
not so often as the camera issue, but sometimes under 10 percent battery while your doing something it will turn of and do the same thing.
Has anyone else experienced this issue?
Will it be hardware, or is there a software issue?
Cheers,
I have a T-Mobile Galaxy Note 5. When I plug in the phone for charging at night, the screen continuously comes on with a vibration, and I get a message momentarily that says my battery is low (I already know my battery is low, that is why I plugged it in). Having the screen continuously come on, really drains the phone more.
Are there any settings that can disable the charging ping that turns on my screen every few seconds?
Lately with my AT&T Galaxy Note 5, I have been having a problem with the screen occasionally flickering when waking the phone up after the screen is off for an extended period of time. If the screen doesn't turn on, I have to turn the screen on again with the power button.
I wonder, what do you think might be the problem? Am I correct to assume that this is not a battery problem? My phone is almost two years old (I bought it in May 2016).
Hi all,
2 days ago I decided to calibrate battery, which is done by fully charging phone, then fully discharging phone with normal use. But phone turns off at 1% and doesn't fully discharge, so I turned it back on and stayed alive for 40mins at highest brightness watching videos on Facebook until finally turned off.
Then fully charge your phone while device is off, (but because device fully drained will be a bit tricky to charge it, don't know why, look like keeps 1% of charge to save charging settings or something) anyway, after a few attempts of plug in and un plug I managed to get it charging, and charged in full.
Result:
Better battery life, obviously. And the strange one is that refresh rate drop when unlocking device as stopped and device is smooth everytime, been over 2 days now without a single drop. Not sure how is this related but this happened with me, free to try it if you wish.
Thought to share my experience.
Happy to answer questions
How did you turned on? After i get the notification that in 30 seconds phone will shutdown, it does shutdown and when i keep pressed the power button its powering, showing mi logo then one logo with empty battery and shuts down again.
