when ever i tried to take a burst or sport mode photo the camera crashes and stops responding
is there a solution to fix this?

I had GPS problem since a member posted a fix for GPS fast detection. I tried, and ended up being not working at all.
Second the problem is worse. After taking a video.. randomly this problem popped up.
I can take pictures, but it only shows previews before taking picture when it starts up, then freezes once camera loads.
Screen doesn't show what picture I am taking, but only the frozen picture at the start up of the camera. (IDK how to explain better)
But when you take the picture, it actually takes the photo of what you are trying to take.
On the video on other hand, I can start it. It stays on 0:00 and I cannot press pause nor stop. Only way to get out was pressing home button, but no videos are recorded.
What rom are you using?

I had the same problem with the camera and came here to see if I could fix it. While the page was loading on my pc, I rebooted the phone and it took care of the camera freezes

After moto x dropped to the ground, and now has some issue with Quick capture in stock camera, it may triggered randomly, also if phone just stay on table, or it will not triggered when you shake phone constantly.
Alternate method, like tasker worked, but stock camera trigger not working correctly.
How can i test sensor or fix this issue? I do not want use tasker for trigger stock camera.
I'd start looking at the accelerometer and gyroscope. Not sure how you can test them though.
Try to testing accelerometer in some app, none ghost activity, if stay on table. Also if install and configure tasker for shaking action, they work fine.

If i start google camera in photosphere mode focus point non-stop spinning, also this issue present in pano mode, quick capture gestures also not working, or have phantom activation.
All this issue after phone fall to the ground.

Accelerometer is working fine, gyroscope is defected, i have many discussion about moto x gyro, but hasn't find answer, how to fix it.
When running google camera photosphere, it's always rotate, without stoping, also in pano mode. Any gyroscope testing apps crash if start in portrait mode, or has fast rotation in all direction in album mode.
How can i repair moto x gyroscope?
Hi i'm using radium rom marshmallow and i have an issue where i'm unnable to use the camera, everything else is working and I actually tried with different roms is there something i messed up? and if so does anybody know a solution to this issue?

Opening whatsapp clicking on take picture and quickly pressing to switch to front facing shows actual image, also on Snapchat login front facing works but rear camera still showing a black screen ?

I just got my new Mi 9 today
I updated to the latest stable global firmware.
I tried to take some photos of the city from a lookout and found something weird going on with the camera focus.
In night mode, or normal mode.
If i tap on the screen to choose a focus point, the camera would focus ok. I then press the shutter button, the camera tries to re-focus again (wtf?), fails and takes an out-of-focus photo.
Whats going on here??
If i pre-focus by tapping somewhere on the screen, why is the camera doing a re-focus when I go to take the photo?
Has anyone else come across this?
