CE-star Problem

I have a dutch MDA IV from T-Mobile. Sometimes I need to read and write in Chinese, so I have installed CE-Star suite 2.8 Rc3 for it. But after I installed CE-star on my pda, I can't use the keyboard anymore. Does anyone know how to solve the problem.

@chicolama: I have a similar problem, but in my raphael is not like that, my problem with CE Star, is that i can't write japanese with hardware keyboard, only with touchboard,and really i don't like it.

No problem here, using RRE roms.
you could also try plum sip for input, works with hardware keyboard well.

chinese font patch for Touch-IT 6.5 rc1?

I am using PlumSIP Pro VGA 6.1 + RickyMSYH6.0FullBDFlo(Microsoft YaHei Font)
and set the region to chinese， it is perfect！
If you like to use hard keyboard to input chinese, you can find X1 keyboard customization for PlumSIP Pro VGA 6.1 at it168.com

if you dont need simplified chinese you can install studio kuma's traditional chinese font...

the font type is actually much nicer than the 1 come with cestar and support almost all ime as well... the only draw back is no simplified chinese

I personally use a cab file that install font to your device. Cant write chinese but i personally think viewing is enough already

yes, I know there is a chinese support software like ce star for chinese input and messeges but I need chinese wm rom...anyone has suggustion where I can get? thanks

if you want a 'chinese language WM device ' , i surmise you can't find it here ,you would find it in any chinese website ,such as pdafans , 52dopod , xda-china ...etc

How can i input a chinese display and input in english ROM?

i try to use the differet rom on my pro 2, beacuse the offical rom is so slow
i hear some method can display chinese and input on the english rom, how can i do or found the information??

i have used cd star to input and view chinese (apparently once you install the software, it installs the font so you can read chinese). I used it on WinMo 6.1 and have not yet install in my tilt 2 yet (but will do it soon) so I presume it will work without any issue.

i need the Traditional Chinese anyway thanks for your help

use the font from Hong Kong official ROM.
It supports CHT almost perfectly. but remember you have to change your regional settings to Chinese(Taiwan) or Chinese(Hong Kong).
E-Mail me if you want a cab.
For the Chinese input, tell us which IME you use.

her well for a while you just use WM6.5 for htc wings by ccwav ....

Rom is not pure English !!! there are still some programs that use the language of china ...

Fn & Shift keys don't work on qwerty keypad. I have tried to solve this problem but does not get any solution. Do you have any idea?

I 've ever tried to flash rom is up to 5 times, and runs perfectly except there are some windows applications that still use the Chinese language...

How can we change those aplications language to English? Can you give me a instruction or something?
EDIT: Can you give me a tutorial, how to install this S730 v13 (WM 6.5) rom? Because I have official 6.0 Windows and I don't know how to install ROMs.

Can you give me a tutorial, how to install this S730 v13 (WM 6.5) rom? Because I have official 6.0 Windows and I don't know how to install ROMs.
When I install that 6.5 ROM I will post an English language of it.

Please re-upload that S730 v13 ROM to rapidshare, megaupload or mediafire, because the speed is extremely slow.

I think it 's not easy to do it comrade, one sekalahan alone can make the device you're stuck! So my suggestion make a backup first, especially for the registry file
