Custom Caller ID's

Are there any good custom caller ID's out there? I'm looking for something similar to the iPhone w/ a nice BIG picture w/ answer and ignore. The default WM doesn't do it for me. I've searched the forums and can't find a thing, thanks in advance.
you can use S2U2. it is iphone like app that is used for locking device screen and it has built in caller id function. you can even change the phone number format. just look in S2U2 settings and you will find what you are looking for.
there are also some threads about this application so you can find all info in there
Thanks, I've tried S2U, didn't really care for sliding everytime i'd unsleep the phone. I've got big fingers, and it sucks when i'm driving having to slide a bar, i'm looking for a standalone caller ID app.

You can enable D-Pad and slide to unlock using the D-Pad.

In the new version you can use the green button to answer...
Next time follow the link on my sign....
You can also disable the sleep feature, and just use the Caller ID like I do.
id also like to enlarge the picture on the caller id ..... any other options?
You guys should look at PhotoContacts Pro.

There's got to be a free/better looking caller ID replacement out there somewhere, I'm going to try the S2U2 again and disable the sleep function as suggested...I'd still really like to see a GOOD replacement for the WM caller ID. Thanks for the ideas though.

you can enlarge picture to almost full screen
A few things to note:
If you've set your contact pictures using the default WM contacts program, your pictures have been resized to the size you see on your caller ID right now. Using a full screen caller ID with these low resolution pictures will look like crap. You CAN, however, use a third party contact manager to set a high resolution contact photo, but from what I understand, Outlook doesn't like that and refuses to sync the contact picture when you do so.

if you use s2u2 1.05 and also s2v and assign you contact pics thru s2v the caller id pics will take up pretty much most of the screen with good sized answer and ignore buttons its pretty much the best option out there and easiest to use i think try it if its not what you are looking for you can alway remove it
i gave in and installed s2u2, although im not using s2v i can still assign photos via outlook. some photos get distorted when they are blown up... i prolly just have to use a better quality photo

Nope, that's Outlook resizing your picture. You have to use S2V if you want pictures to look good when blown up. The only problem with this is that I think pictures won't sync up properly with Outlook if you use that feature.

MMS picture in full size?

When I receive a mms picture message, the picture always comes out extra small then it should be. Is there anyway to fix the dimension size and get the MMS picture view in full size?

I think it must depend on the size of the picture you've been sent - as mine have always been full screen. Bear in mind that the Diamond has a VGA (640x480) screen and most phones send MMS pics at a lesser resolution.
The way to view full screen is to open the MMS pic, click 'Contents' which will then let you see text01.txt and Image001.jpg (or similar) which are the parts of the message. If you hold your finger / stylus on Image001.jpg then you get an option to Save. If you save the file then it gets saved in My Pictures and is viewable in the TouchFlo Photos and Videos... which means you can zoom in using the scrollwheel.
Your operator can also cut down the size to save traffic. It's done on the mmsc server, I believe.
I am also experiencing this problem, The Pics are only coming in at 4k, and when saved as suggested by p3eps It won't let me zoom in. Pics are about the size of a finger nail on the screen which just isn't good enough!
I am going to phone o2 to see if they are restricting something but I am on a unlimited data package so I don't see why they would.
If anyone else has any thoughts would appreciat it!

I've experienced the same problem with my original Orange ROM.
Since I've flashed my Diamond with the original HTC ROM I am able again to receive MMS picture in their original size and not in thumbnail mode !!!
But I've experienced this problem with other HTC models. I think it's a problem with the ROM install. A hard reset could fix the problem. Perhaps.
O2 in the UK do this, if the network doesn't recognise your phone it automatically downsizes the picture. I had this problem with my htc s710. I had to edit some registry setting to make the o2 network think my phone was an xda and it worked.
I cant find the post i found it in, but in sure if was under the networking folder on this forum.

These pictures are from outlook and are limited in size. Try to add higher resolution pictures from TF3D.

How do you add pictures from TF3D?
I have noticed that when you add picture to contact from the Album the quality of the picture is better than if you add picture from contact edit.
Even when you use the same picture.

[Q] - How to change Caller ID Picture ?

hi, every body. I have one question and I thinks others does, too. Is there anyway to change size of contact's photo? I want to add pics of my friends to contacts but it seems to small and quality is so bad. I think it can change via framework or system UI's editting but I'm quite bad at this. So if there a way, plz tell me how to do it, I like the way of Iphone or Window Phone.

[Q] Change Caller ID Picture

I know I am being picky but I do not like the default generic blue caller ID picture that shows up when you receive a call from someone not in your contacts without an associated picture.
Is it possible to find this picture on the phone and replace it with one I like?
Can this be done without rooting? If so anyone know in what directory or where to look on the phone to find this image?
Thanks for any help.
What android version do you have? It worked fine in Kitkat, but yesterday i've updated to latest Lollipop, 23.1.A.0.726, and now i have the same problem again

Good question - I too would be interested in changing this photo to something custom.
U can add a custom photo, but the idea is to see the updated photo from Facebook, in my opinion at least

He doesn't want to add a custom photo for his contacts. He wants to replace the stock blank image for callers that are not saved as contacts. When you receive a call from an unknown number, the image with a blank generic human shadow appears.
