Hello
Which alarm program do you use?
SPB Time is unable to this job...
Geko
I'm not on kaiser/tilt yet but I've been using this alarm app for a few years and I am very happy with it.

The standard WM stuff... (hit the HTC clock to get there)
To me it has more than enough configurable options (don't forget you can click the bell-icon too for setting various sound options)
The best http://www.burroak.on.ca/pta.html
Yeah,
I use standard alarm from WinMo and it is enough to wake me everyday at 7 oclock
What do you want to configure? And why Spb Time cant handle it? It must be something fancy I guess.
PocketAlarm maybe?
After doing a lot of research and trying and testing various alarm programs I have found Choronos time clock to be the best though it is not free.

MP3 on Standard WM 6 Alarm
Does anyone know how to set an MP3 for the alarm on Windows Mobile 6? This is something that is really bugging me and I don't want to install a 3rd party app on just for this one function...
Convert the mp3 to WMA.. I think it supports WMA
Tough call
i may have toruble with that as i use linux to encode the files, so no support for wma. But it canb play MP3's and use MP3's for ringtones, so i don't get why it needs a wma for the alarm...
I love enAlarm, with WMA/MP3 support, great soft...
Hiyas
Does anyone have a good small and light program that does the usual "silent", "outdoor", "normal" kind of profile management as the Nokias and SE's do??
I have tried to use a modified O2Plus (Which works on the Hermes but doesnt on the Treo 750), and Phoneweaver.
Are there any better suggestions out there?? I know SPB did have one but the last time i tried the trial version it completely slowed down the PDA and everything became very unresponsive
Thanks!!
My favorite application was SBSH PhoneWeaver on my Treo. I know you've mentioned this one, but if you ask me it's the most versatile and reliable profiler you can get!
You might also check PhoneAlarm and PhoneProfiles
I just wanted to compile a list of application you guys must have on your PDA?
I've done tweeking my rom and now looking for some solid applications to add to the phone..
List all applications you install once after a hard reset!

Heh, just downloaded Dutty's Hybrid ROM with the full intention of flashing it (as I'm still using Schaps' 4.31). Then sat down and listed all the soft I have installed... and cried bloody tears.
So much stuff to reinstall, re-register, restore saves/bookmarks to! Yes, I know of UC, Sashimi, and stuff, but still... that's an awful lot.
K, here goes for anyone interested (in order of original installation/upgrade):
SKKV SK Tools
Mortscript
Weather Panel (+ Hourly Fix)
TaskManager ITA Big Buttons
S2U2
Finger-Friendly Friends
Ultimate Launch
HTC Home Customizer
RC Mod
Pocket Informant 8
Cyberon Voice Dialer
Batti
Mobipocket Reader
SPB Diary, Traveler, Finance, Wallet, Time
Resco Explorer, Audio Recorder, Photo Viewer, Radio
FDC Softkey Applet
VGAKEY keyboard
SRS_WOW_HD
Green Skin for Audio Manager
and about 20 games, mostly puzzle and RPG.
And, of course, iGo My Way 2006 Plus and AutoMapa, both navigation software.
To answer your original question: most of these are a must for me. Sorry, cannot be more specific.

That'd be very kind of you, thanks
Indeed the software-Wiki could use some updating, as, for example, it lists only a few of Resco and SPB progs, and relatively old ones at that.
SPB Traveler, for instance, (mostly) duplicates the functionalities of SPB Weather and Time while adding quite a few of its own.
SPB Wallet (and its many brothers, like eWallet, SplashID, or CodeWallet) is another killer app, as it saves the hassle of remembering oodles of passwords, codes, keys, combinations, sizes, URLs, account numbers... you name it.

It's a wiki so you can add things yourself. I just created it about 1-2 weeks ago so it hasn't been around that long. Hell, I wish the damn thing would get stickied but it doesn't look like it is.

is there any other alarm program to replace the current alarm?
it is quite annoying to set the day since i cant remember what day it is n it doesn't show the day on the main screen. i have to go in calender, n then exit out to clock, alarm
i like the auto alarm on certain day, but sometimes i just need a once off alarm without setting the day
cheers
By all means G-Alarm! THere is also the free Klaxon, but G-Alarm is far better (and it is quite cheap anyway)...
Check it out: http://www.ageye.de/index.php?s=galarm/about
G-alarm is no longer for free...but Klaxon is and it also integrates with TF3D..
I didn't say G-Alarm s for free... I said it's cheap, as it costs just around 5 euros! And it integrates into TF3D as well...

+1 : tryied Klaxon, didn't wake S2U2... Bought G-Alarm : it's excellent. Reliable, working great with TF3D, a lot of possibilities, G-sensor compatible and all this for 5€ !
hmm, not to be stingy... but i prefer free, lol
will try Klaxon then =)
Can anyone recommend a stable rom they use every morning as an alarm clock (they've used for more than a week).
Preferable windows 6.5 and manilla 2.1 (because all 2.5+ seem to be too slow for my taste in text messaging).
Tried quite a few already, using Miri v32 which never crash and always wakes me up in the morning. But that really has problems with playback of music from my SD card unlike a lot of other roms.
The rom really doesn't have to be at the top of benchmarks.
Had high hopes for Topix, but that seemed to go into this deep sleep after being standby for some hours, so alarms and sms's etc would first appear when turning on screen (version was back in early december).
Some might say you should just by an alarm clock but I travel a lot and used phones as alarm clock the last 5 years which is quite convinient. I just don't want to miss my morning flight because rom has some experimental graphics-drivers etc. and then locks up or stalls during night
The Roms from Xanny are great and stable as hell! I use mine since 2 or 3 month and it never crashed.
For the alarm, I would recommend to use a small app called G-Alarm. I use it every morning and I never missed my time ;-)
confirm for xanny and actually i'm using axlor v7(it's in italian, but you could change) no bugs, fast, a lot of memory, and the alarm is ok

I totally agree, an easy and convenient alarm app.
I use it in combination with the Topix rom and it has never failed me (i've been using the app with a lot of different roms in the last year!)
Plenty of stable roms out there if you search and try including Xanny, NRG, Miri, PhamQuang etc etc
Also plenty of apps available including G-Alarm. Again use the search option in apps thread and then try them out. Digital Outcast even created a cab for snooze options which you can find in this thread (wonderful what you can find if you search )
