bashrc or profile file for terminal emulator
This is a response to a thread that got redirected here BC I have fewer than 10 posts. On some custom roms the shell init file for Terminal Emulator is /etc/mkshrc. You can put an alias here like alias s='sudo bash' for example to start a bash she'll. Bash's init file is then /etc/bash/bashrc.

Installation questions
Hello,
I want to say thank you for porting Sailfish to the HP Touchpad :good:. Soon after I saw this thread, I ordered a used device from ebay (73€). As I am now waiting for the delivery, I am preparing myself to get Sailfish to the device.
I found a guide to get CM 11 to the device on rootzwiki from "RolandDeschain79" (as I am new, I can't post links here).
In step 5b where you have to copy the CM11 files to the "ttinstall" folder of the device, what files exactly do I have to put there? I have two zip files from the first post in this thread (Cm11 and Sailfish).
Is it OK to first copy the extracted CM11 archive to the ttinstall folder and then flash android first?
How do I proceed after that?

TPToolBox is for installing Android only. You'll have to use the specific instructions in the Sailfish thread for anything else. I know nothing about Sailfish, so that's about all I can help you with.

OK, thank you for replying. Can you tell me, if I have to extract the zip file before copying to the folder on the device?
I still hope, someone who has done the complete procedure could answer to my questions.

No unzipping, leave the files as they are. That's typical for most all of the flashing you will do.

Ok, thank you. That was a missing part of the puzzle for me.
I think I now have a clue how to proceed with the flashing procedure.
It's quite challenging to find all of the informations across the web to get Sailfish to the Touchpad. Since flashing an operating system to a device is always a sensible act, I don't want to do anything wrong (and eventually brick the Touchpad ).
When I have my Touchpad and everything works out OK with Sailfish, I will do a small guide for other beginners (like me).

[$5 reward] Compiling CWM recovery with custom sources/tools

I need someone who can compile CWM recovery for me. I would love to learn how to do that, but I'm not able to install the tools required at the moment. I'd need it compiled for my HTC One M7 using these sources:
[Mod edit: link removed]
If someone would compile it for me and also write me a little guide on how to do that I'd pay a small amount via PayPal ($5). You will also get my love.
Thanks in advance. I hope this is the right forum to request this, if not, I'm super sorry.
Please don't sell/trade on the forums, it is in violation of XDA rules.

Hmm, it's making a mess in a hosts file. There are no spaces and enters between each host entry. And you much fix theese 2 sources. That would be great! You can open app on github right now, we will commit the bugs.
I have just installed V4 in my Nokia Lumia 830 8.1 update 2 and when i start the app it suddenly stop.
Installation question
Hi. thank you for all your work! I have spent two days attempting to install this, and have read through this entire thread and many others before asking this question.
Trying to install onto 640 running 10586.36 in developer mode. I am a semi noob to windows phone. Have tried installing wppt and xap deployer 2.0 with no luck. Like I said, a noob. I don't know if I have not unlocked the phone as it should be or what. Under the impression that in win10mobile "developer mode" is unlocked. When I try to "launch" the xap it just closes right away.
If and when you have the time, if you could point me in the right direction on what I need to do to install this it would be very appreciated.
Thanks again!

Thanks for the reply. Yes I have read that, as well as all nine pages of the thread before I posted... I am trying whats in this thread right now....Let me reiterate that I am not a developer.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/win.../jailbreak-interop-unlock-windows-10-t3178140
To deploy any xap I need something like wppt, correct? Right now I am trying to install wppt but get any error saying...http://tinypic.com/r/51vfkk/9[/IMG]
So to summarize, I need to install wppt so I can deploy root_tool.xap, but getting errors in the process. Do I need visual studio installed on computer to run wppt? I am not a developer. Just a windows phone noob who doesn't want ads. I am fairly proficient in the desktop environment, not at all with mobile.
Thanks for all your help, it is not taken for granted. Much appreciated. Cheers.
