Maybe I'm as thick as an X1?
Is there a way to transfer a call from the BT headset to the handset while in the middle of it? I can't work out how to do it.
I see nothing on the phone while mid call, and my old SE headset only has 3 buttons. 1 - Answer / Hang-up, 2 - Vol Up, 3 - Vol Down.
Yes, press the menu button and you'll see the option to transfer to handset.
I am missing the option to transfer the call to speaker from BT headset. Anyone who knows how to do that?

Thank you! Told you I was thick. And I can transfer it back again (I have the HW button mapped to MSVC and have never pressed the menu button before )

Is your phone branded? Which firmware version or ROM are you running?
The option you're looking for when you're in the call and you press the menu button is called, "Turn handsfree off"

I've never used WC's ROM so don't know if you'll have that option in the menu when in a call.

That ROM uses the default SE dialer. I have not found this option in the SE stock ROMS either.
So when using BT headset, there is no easy way to switch from BT headset to speakerphone that I have found.

I've searched around and haven't had much luck. I use vibraswitch mapped to my PTT button to switch between vibrate and sound, but sometimes (especially when I'm on the phone and use it), the phone will volume will turn off (speaker w/ x, not on and not vibrate) instead of either switching the volume on or to vibrate. I've missed some calls because of this.
Somebody in a post here said that if you hold down the button u mapped it to for a second it will do this, but this doesn't seem to be the case. If this has been answered before I'm sorry, hopefully somebody can point me in the right direction!

The only thing about this program is that the phone doesn't vibrate when you toggle between the settings. I change the volume in my pocket a lot so I rely on the vibrates to let me know when I switch.
Hi,
Good day, I have HTC Kaiser with official Windows 6.1.
My problems are :
1 ) Sometimes when my phone ring and I reject the call it doesn't reject it. it keeps ringing until the network disconnect this call. I solve this problem by soft-reset.
2 ) I need to change the default input method from Arabic-Keyboard to English-Keyboard. I did this some time ago but it return back to Arabic.
3 ) I sync my mobile at home and work. Every time I have to uncheck Contacts form sync menu and check it again to make sync work.
4 ) It's not a problem but I bought a bluetooth hands-free device and I would like to know what's the best way to use it, is it by turn device bluetooth on all the time. I need some tips a bout this.
Thanks a lot.
Hi,
Also, I remembered something I want my mobile to vibrate then ring but I think it's not doing this with all contacts sometime it's ring sometime it "vibrate then ring"

How are you attempting to reject the call? If you press the red hangup button when the call comes in but the phone keeps ringing and the call doesn't go through to your voicemail box, it may be a faulty button on the phone as that button should silence any incomming call.

If you have the HTC official ROM in World Wide English (WWE) that includes an English keyboard so if your settings aren't sticking, a hard reset may be the quickest way to solve the problem.
3 ) I sync my mobile at home and work. Every time I have to uncheck Contacts form sync menu and check it again to make sync work.

See if the above hard reset has any effect on this too. As I only use Activesync for file transfer, I cant help with that one.

If you're expecting to receive calls through it all the time then you need to have the TyTN IIs bluetooth enabled all the time, how else is it going to communicate with the phone otherwise? To anticipate your next question, yes that uses lots of battery power so you may need a spare battery or two when you're out and about handsfree (or you could just use the wired headset that came with the phone for no additional battery drain).
As for the ring vs vibrate and ring, if you've setup a customised ring for certain individuals, that would explain why it behaves differently when a call comes in from one person compared to another. Are these sim contacts or outlook contacts?

Hi, when I want to reject the call I mute the phone by using the wheel button then press the red button "reject button" or touch the screen on "reject" word. None of the above work. They all failed. The phone not ringing but the call doesn't end. This happen from time to time. Not always.

Is there a way to fix the in-line buttons of the headphones you get with the Diamond2 to not start calling people?
They are very sensitive, and I had some unwanted calls to people while listening to some music...
I can't find anywhere to configure this (WinMo settings "buttons" and "input" screens have nothing). IS there a way to disable those buttons or, better yet, make them useful for things like volume control?
same problem here, everytime i go by bike i call someone hitting the button somehow.
I mange to call people accidentily while walking down the street,
It needs to be able to lock itself while playing music or you need to press a particular button to lock-unlock.
I have a Noreve flip case coming soon maybe this will help to stop this problem.

if its not the headphones causing your problem you can simply turn your defice off while playing musik. it will keep on playing.
but the buttons in the cord don't "lock" if you switch it off
which basically is my problem

TouchLockPro locks all buttons, including the in-line buttons of the head-phones.
This solution worked fine for me and my Touch Diamond 2.

When I get into my vehicle (2016 Ford F150) and turn the engine on my phone automatically connects to Bluetooth (Ford Sync) and the phone screen lights up with the "Loud Volume Warning" and I have to press OK for it to go away. I have also noticed that my Bluetooth volume on my device (SYNC) is always on Max and if I try to turn the volume down it just jumps right back to the Max.
Anyone else experience this or can test this in their vehicle? Since pressing OK on the Volume warning I believe it wont ask you again until you reboot your phone again.
That's how is always been to me.

So you always have to press OK to the Volume warning when first entering your vehicle everyday? Does your screen stay lit until you press OK or eventually turn off?
only when i adjust the volume on the phone.

Its to protect you from.. you.
Not just for the car. It happens over headphones as well.
Nanny "feature". Some cat on here made some kind of "script" to disable this automatically.

Try an app called "Bluetooth Volume Control", I find it useful for this issue.
You guys realize you can fix this without any extra software right... Just go into setting, sounds, volume, click the little three dots in top right corner for media volume limiter. Turn it on and slide the bar all the way up. Now when you get in your truck or connect headphones you won't get that stupid popup anymore

i have a 2015 Ford Fiesta ST with MyFordSync and when it connects with mine, it automatically jumps to bluetooth audio and restarts the last video/music file i had watched/listened to on my device. but for volume mine is the opposite, it's always all the down.

Yes go to developer options and turn on "disable absolute volume". By doing this my phone no longer turns on with this warning once connected to my vehicles Bluetooth.

@xbmoyx , what theme is that good sir?
I tried the developer option above but the warning still appears when connecting to a bluetooth speaker.
I hate this so called safety feature, it should be smart enough to know when you are connecting headphones vs speakers or car systems. Better still a toggle (with disclaimer) to allow you to turn it off completely.

Maybe it depends on the type of vehicle you own? With Sync3 in my truck that option stopped it but of course I still get the pop up if I raise the volume too high telling me it's not safe to listen to music too loud.
This is already built in...Vibration>Volume>3 dots menu in upper right hand corner> Media Volume Limiter> Turn it off.

he want to answer without touching to screen . when you moving your phone to ear while calling it'll automatically answer. on your picture there is no this option. you have to press volume button or it'll automatically will open if you even don't move phone to ear.
if these not working you have to try another apps for this.

The options I suggested go some way to meeting the OP's request, as in both options there's no need to touch the 'screen' to answer a call.
With the 1st option shown, whilst lifting the phone to the ear, pressing the volume button (not the screen) answers the call.
With the 2nd option shown, the call is automatically answered when headphones or bluetooth connected, no need to touch the 'screen'.
Both options meet the criteria set by the OP, without the need for 3rd party apps that don't work anyway.
In Settings, Advanced Funtions, exists "Direct Call", that settings is what you loocking for.

Don't want to contradict you, but you're giving wrong information to the OP. 'Direct Call' is intended for 'making' calls, not 'answering' calls.
At least on my device, this is how it works, if different on yours, my apologies.
