Radio firmware update - XPERIA X1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is it possible to update the Radio firmware only ?
I do not want to change stock ROM just yet.
I have Ver 1.10 now.
Where can I get the latest firmware, and instructions to flash.
I got lost in threads.

There is the same thread few THREADS below yours. Not pages, THREADS. You didn't have to use search. You had to LOOK.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=539657

This thread does not give the direction to update the firmware,
which is what I initially asked for.

You should have went there and asked. Why creaet a new thread when there is a similar one already going? Get it?

[Q] Update to 4.4.2 or not? Root? too much confusion here!

I just got my 4.2.2 GT-i9295.
Here's too much confusing information, can someone please answer:
Root the device now? with what? (a link please)
OR let it install the 4.4.2 OTA update first? (if the ~200MB one is 4.4.2??)
or can I just flash a pre-rooted 4.4.2?
I looked through various threads over the last 2 hours, I'm confused now... one says 4.4.2 will lock the bootloader and KNOX will screw things up, but another says that's only for AT&T versions, I have INTL... and another says everything is not a problem, KingoApp can do it. And another says I have to downgrade to 4.3 again ?!?
4.4.2 isnt out for the i9295 yet. Im in the same boat and just waiting for something definitive which will probably be OTA.

can i get the i9295 4.4.2 rooted version yet?
also in the same boat,
reading all these different threads about 4.4.2 and rooting but getting confused, Seems a lot of the instructions are for the i537.
I'm currently on 4.2.2 with I9295 unlocked and rooted. build number is jdq39.i9295vjuamg3. would like to upgrade it to 4.4.2 but absolutely want a rooted phone. looking for a straight forward guide to follow. FYI i have ti backup pro and busybox installed. can anyone point me to the correct thread.
normally i stick with the stock versions but if there is a very good and widely recognized non stock 4.4.2 version with everything working and maybe some of the bloat taken out i'd be happy to give that a try. again if anyone can post a link to the thread with some relatively straight forward instructions that would be great.
or do i need to wait a bit longer for the rooted version of 4.4.2 for the i9295?
thanks folks

Best Way To Upgrade To Lollipop?

I have a used Unlocked XT1064 US Version with build 21.85.23 and I want to upgrade to lollipop but it does not work OTA. I am assuming it's because this phone has a custom build? (it seems to also have TWRP). So I believe have that I have to do stock recovery, but my question is which stock recovery firmware do I need to install that will allow me to get the latest updates OTA? and Is this the best way to upgrade?
Thank you
Look in the "G 2014 Android Development" forum at a thread by Shawn5162 titled "Windows Tool Restore to Stock". Sorry, in this app I can't pull up the exact thread. Also it's going to matter who your carrier is since a few carriers won't push out an ota ever.

It's unlocked GSM... thanks I saw that tutorial, but are you sure that it provides the correct framework version for me?

It will. Also, look at the following post. The first 6 steps are a step by step for getting back to a stock kit kat phone. Everything after 6 will be for going up to Lollipop. You can get the image from Shawn's post for 21.85.17 and do it manually from the link below, or use the tool.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g-2014/general/how-upgraded-consumer-cellular-moto-g-t2938151
Since it's a 1064 I'm guessing it's for use in the US. I'm also thinking that it won't OTA because either you need to drop back to 21.85.17 or you're on a carrier like Consumer Cellular that doesn't do OTA at all. If you still can't get OTA and want Lollipop, then you can do what the poster did in the above link and use all those steps to get to Lollipop. I would suggest what ever you do, read all the posts if possible because sometime you get helpful hints that make the process a lot smoother.
Also ignore the fact that the above is for a Consumer Cellular phone. They're standard 1064's, but will never get OTA's.

Android 4.4 tmobile

I want to flash Android 4.4 over my 4.3.
I will likely wait until 5.1 is released before going to 5.0+
How would I do this on my tmobile version?
I download rom:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z/general/stock-rom-c6602-v4-2-2-10-3-0-423-t2356455
edit: saw that it has no LTE. I need the one with tmobile LTE if anyone could link me to one.
follow steps:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z/general/tutorial-how-to-flash-stock-roms-t2240614
Is that it? Looks easy enough, just need to make sure the rom is correct.
Just want to make sure the rom I posted above will work on my tmobile C6006.
Also is a deoxed rom or a rooted one available? Can it be flashed on my locked boot-loader?
I need some clarification is all.

Wrong forum bro, we have an Q&A section for questions.
Also, if u use search function and read a lot, you will learn a lot so you will understand what to do and more importantly: why to do.
Because otherwise you will most likely brick your device unnecessary.
sorry.
Also you can close this.
I found out that flashtool lets you download roms directly from the application.

Downgrade to Lollipop

Hi Everyone,
I don`t know much but I managed to sim-unlock before. Now my phone is s-off, rooted, unlocked.
Because I updated to Marshmallow, now my sim is locked again. Is there any way to downgrade lollipop

(Sorry that I don`t know what information should I provide.)
HTC one m8 hk sprint
Thanks
Flash L Firmware, flash L Rom, sim unlock.
@Sloth this guy asked same question in a recent thread he opened, forums are getting crowded with the same people asking multiple questions that are related.
Hello,

ATT XT1058, what ROM (Stock?) should I put on here for my parents to use it?

This is a stock XT1058 running 4.4.4 212.44.26.ghost_att.ATT.en.US (build KXA21.12-L1.26)
My parents have an older LG on 4.4.4 getting all sorts of Google play update errors. I'd like to give them this phone. I could use your help in confirming what I should put on it. I was hoping to get something 5.x on it, but I do see various threads with people having various issues with lollipop, even rolling back to 4.4.4. Hopefully the answer isn't to keep it at 4.4.4
If the answer is to keep it as is, are there any issues to note? Will it eventually have Google Play update errors since it is so old?
If the answer is to try a newer ROM, please link me. Especially if it is on Filefactory. I cannot seem to search on their site.... I would probably follow this thread:
