Stream audio to ps3 - XPERIA X1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys. Do you know if it's possible to stream audio via bluetooth from xperia to ps3 like to a normal bluetooth headset?
I would like to listen web radios in my ps3 attached to the hi fi system and I was aking myself if it's possible....
thx for suggestions....

does anyone know a solution???

As far as I know, this is not possible.

it something which had to be implemented in the ps3 not the x1 really

i know you can do this with the xbox 360 but not sure about ps3 - if you put the phone is Diskreader mode and plug it in you can browse the files of a phone - not sure if it will work on ps3 though

Stream music from Kaiser to HiFI by Wifi

Is it possible to stream music from the Kaiser to a hifi setup by wifi and if so what equipment and software for the phone would I need.
I have done this by bluetooth over the a2dp protocol but quite honestly there is a marked deterioration in quality, so looking for a better solution.
Hmm I have an Airport Express but that uses iTunes to stream the music over Wifi. So that is not gonna work.. unless Apple will make a version of iTunes for Windows Mobile. (in short: never)
Would be quitte nice if it should work though

Follow my articles; I've presented a fully working solution to this a month ago - if your Hi-Fi is UPnP-capable. See my UPnP Bible in the Wiki.
I'm not sure if I understand exactly what you want to do or what capabilities your Hifi has. Is it connected to a network?
All you need is a ExtUSB-headphone adaptor and a patch lead to the Aux input on your hifi.
This will allow you to play content stored on the Kaiser via the Hifi. If your Hifi has a USB port, you could try WM5torage and/or Card Export and use the Kaiser as a Memory stick.
If you want the Kaiser to play media stored on a PC via the Hifi speakers, then I recomend Orb. If your Hifi is UPnP enabled, checkout the posts by Menneisyys and the links to Pocket Player.
Thanks for the replies, I have already used the Kaiser connected via the headphone out to my HiFi and it works great, just thought it would be even better if I could do this wirelessly but seems a bit of a faf, so proabably I'll just stick with the wired connection.

bluetooth music

ive been wanting to stream music to my mates car sytereo when im in his car, but im not sure how its done with this phone can someone guide me
btw id prefer to use s2p as an interface as im sure its usable
I don't what s2p is but I stream to my stereo headset - no problem.
I can't imagine it being any different than setting up a headset. Put the car's bluetooth in setup mode and tell your phone to do a new bluetooth connection.
And if the car doesn't have built in BT, then you would need something like this>>>

There is a thread for this already:

I tried wired w/ the usb adapter before but I am using A2DP for wireless streaming. (Was using Sony DS-220 because it allows battery charging whle playing but recently change my head unit to JVC BT-1 with build in BT support)

Music from laptop via bluetooth

I have a bluetooth stereo headset with which I listen to music with my Kaiser.
I have a laptop that does not have bluetooth. If kaiser is connected to the laptop via USB (and ActiveSync), is it possible to listen to music from the laptop on my bluetooth stereo headset?
Not music stored on the laptop, only stored on the card.
I think you misunderstood my question.
Lets say there is a website that uses flash to play streaming music. I want to open this website on my laptop and listen to the music on the bluetooth stereo headset; since my laptop does not have bluetooth, I want to use kaiser as the bluetooth routing device (may be through USB).
u need 2 buy a bluetooth doggle, cause the tilt can't be used as a speaker for any device wether ur teathering or connect via bluetooth.
Easy answer, no.
Get a BT dongle for your laptop.

MHL Question

Is it possible to connect Android via MHL adapter to a PS3?
I know it sounds useless when we can just connect to our TVs.
My issue is this.
I have a sound bar because I like it loud.
Have my PS3 connected through HDMI to TV and composite audio out to sound bar.
I want to have my Android playing through sound bar.
The only way I see it possible is through the PS3.
Is it possible?
Found a work around unless I can figure this out.
Connected audio to sound bar via BT.

This is just mind-numbingly confusing. Doesn't the PS3 have a built in music player you could use (I can't remember, mine hasn't been on since i got my PS4)? If not then Bluetooth sounds like your only option. Are you trying to get game sound and music at the same time? If so this is not possible.
No. I am streaming video from my device through MHL and the volume through my TV wasn't loud enough for my liking.
The only way to do what I want was video through MHL and audio through BT.
Works pretty well honestly.
Still prefer going through PS3 but I don't know if it's possible.

Make sure Chromecast is plugged into your Receiver, not the TV, then it's up the to the receiver to mix the HDMI audio from Chromecast with its microphone input. She's not using a microphone on the iPad, right?
