Blackberry Storm on X1

Does anyone know if its possible to put the blackberry storm userface software as a panel on the x1?

Ermm i dont think you can as Blackberry use their own o/s with different hardware specs.

Thats a shame would of been nice to have a blackberry, andriod and touch hd panel

yeah i know, but always good to have a choice. one of the things i love about my x1 is that i can change it by pressing on a panel and not overriding the current software

Has anyone tried the iphone theme or know if its any good? if i wanted a windows theme on top op the today screen (like the touch hd) is it easy to make into a panel? as someone has made the touch hd into one.

actually (and hopefully soon) it will... search for Blackberry Application Suite... it has recent updates (last was March, when the admin manual was leaked)

BAS last sighted on an HTC in Feb 2009
Blackberry storm like theme - I've seen some cab somewhere and a vid of it in action on X1.
Sorry can't be more helpful (it was aaages ago - probably 6 months +).
There were a few of them Blackberry, TouchFlo, and another one too in the vid.
Regarding the Blackberry Application Suite (BAS) - I've been looking for it too recently, but come to the conclusion it is vapour-ware. Just talk, no substance.
It has been in discussion for well over two years.
The closest I've seen to it materializing is in the Boy Genius Report:

HTC Touch Viva Clone

Hi,
I'm surffing the net looking for a cheap smartphone since I see Iphone for first time.
Today I've found this:

And I really liked all about HTC Touch Viva. But what is my surprise when I discover that it was a "Fake" or a "Clone" (Sorry my english, I'm spanish)
So I loved the price, and I want to know if I bought it If I would be able to use it as a real HTC Touch Viva (Same APP's working, etc, etc)

Dont know to what extent it will work but since it's Windows Mobile 6.1 it should be able to take not very particular apps, also the processor says 460Mhz, thats a lot! the HTC VIVA (Original) is said to have a clockspeed of 201MHz but truly has only 186 MHz.
Its actually your call whether to get it or not, my recommendation to you would be a no.

Upcoming HTC Leo (Touch HD 2)

I want to get a new phone, because my 2 year old Kaiser isn't the best anymore.
What do you think of the leo with the unbelievebal 1Ghz CPU and the Multitouch Screen?

Leo look great, shame no hardware keyboard.
It´s a must for me, I´ll wait for the Touch pro 3

The leo looks awsome, we have been playin with its version of the tf3d and its gr8, just wish i cud afford one lol

I thought that when i first got my diamond after having a nike but it dosent bother me anymore, i can even write txts with one hand using the software keyboard, took me like a year to ajust tho lol

I do not need a Hardware Keyboard. Even I have got one in my Kaiser, typing on the software keyboard is much faster.
I read that the Leo supports USB-Hosting, so you can connect a normal keyboard

IGO8 on HTC Desire HD?

I have a HD2 with broken screen, and the price for fixing it.. well, its not far away from a brand new HTC Desire HD.
Anyhow, i use IG08 navigation on my HD2, have used igo8 for years now, and i simply LOVE it, its out of the question to change to another navi.
So the big question is: Does IGO8 run WELL on Desire HD/Android? i know there is igo8 software for Android, but i have read that its laggy. and if it is, i'll rather fix my HD2.
Anyone who runs IGO8 on their Desire HD??

I have been trying to find iGo8 for my Desire HD, but I can not find it in Market here in Norway.
I used it on my Magic (but it was not a legal version). Now that I own the beast (DHD ), I was thinking of going legit...
I am currently considering Navigon with Scandinavian maps, which is only 300NKR, and I personally prefer Navigon over iGo.

IGO8 runs REALLY well on HD2, and thats the only thing thats holding me back for buying a Desire HD. i have the latest IGO8 Android version with 800x480 res for Desire HD, but i dont know how well it will run. after all, IGO i primary made for Windows devices.

I used igo 8.3 on my htc touch hd too, i loved it too.
But for android, there is only igo my way, stupid poor navi app. So i now use sygic aura, which is much more better than myway...

But iGO May Way works excellent ond DHD.... i think that this is good navigation software.

I sacrificed my hd2 and x10 for a dhd and it was wise . Make sure you don't buy your phone from a professional retailer if you want to install roms and mods as chances are they will be unrootable with the new official updates

iGO My Way works fine, although I miss Text2Speech which was the reason why I prefered it on my SE Xperia.
I got my phone from T-Mobile Germany and it had Navigon pre-installed. It's nice as well, although I like the look of iGO more.
Unfortunally I haven't made a long journey yet, so I can't tell you anything about the things like POI or radar warning.
Haven't tried Sygic yet but a collegue of mine has in installed on his DHD, I'm going to ask him in the next few days.

So what version if IGO are you people using on DHD? Motonav or Igo My Way?

I am pleased to see how you get it running on your DHD. I only found a HVGA version and no maps of europe.

I tried out iGO8 on my DHD but coming from WM6.5 iGO8, the Android version is quite simply crap. It lacks so so SO many option which made it awesome on WinMo. I was extremely disappointed to say the least.
So I got CoPilot and this is much better and more what the GPS software should be like. I would recommend this over iGO8 anyday.

I'm using iGo MyWay 8.4.2.139242 from 16 April 2010 and it's running very fine. No stucks no errors, nothing.
All maps of Europe are working so you can choose whatever you like.
CoPilot does not support my country with maps so I did't use it. And I must tell that I rely like default SatNav option GUI...I'm just waiting to somewhere in west EU countries to try it.

[WP7] [APP] HTC Hub

Hi Everyone,
First I don't take any credit for this.
Was playing now with my New HD 2 7 thanks to DFT and thought I would try 2 install the HD7 HTC Hub with weather and others that I found.
And guess what, if unlocked with WP7 Chevron, it works on my phone, so I want to share this with you as it might work for others too.
One little thing, don't forget to put your phone in airplane mode before installing the .xap file with Tom XAP Installer

I already have this on My DFT HD2 (It's the HD2 that runs WP7 )
All i can say is AWESOME ! but one thing is bothering me.
How could you post this yesterday and the forum's rearrangment were made today ?

You can also install the HTC Hub from the marketplace. At least it worked for me.
Don't know if that's big news, just want to share information ^^

it's on the market....with the rest of the HTC aplications and you don't have to unlock your phone...just activate it

It's not for Win 6.5, unfortunately...

Next to that, it's a battery killer.
1. Without that thing running i managed to get a good 24+ hours on a charge (had to recharge because i needed the phone. 24 hrs > 40% left)
2. With that 'thing' running it didn't even reach 24 hrs. Woke up this morning it was powered off due to low battery.
Uninstalled the HTC Hub and now the drainage seems to be back to 'normal'.
Note: Since this is the 3rd cycle of my battery, I can't be too sure, but is somewhat looked like this specific piece of software is causing a lot of drain..

hi i have installed this XAP but on the weather screen it's only show 2 things (stock & car game) just like old version 1.5.0.0 ??
is that the same to you?
