WM 6.5 ROMs with Manila - "All Settings" Bug - XPERIA X1 ROM Development

I guess there is a well known bug in ROMs with WM 6.5 and Manila, where if you press the left soft key for "All Settings" in the Manila settings tab, it will take you to connections and not to the WM settings.
I have searched the forum for hours, and although I found many posts with people reporting the bug, I have not found a solution or any information on how to address this bug.
I'm cooking a ROM now and this bug is very irritating.
Does anyone have any info or ideas on how to fix this bug?
Thank you very much.

Weird...
I have not this bug with Touch It v12 (WM6.5 et manila)

if you use old manila from 6.1 rom on wm6.5 you will have this bug
those that dont have this bug have newer manila that was desighned to work with wm 6.5
as for landscape if you dont have it you are missing landscape files or landscape is not enabled in your rom
for both answers ask the cook

Thanks. Is the newer build available somewhere? The manila packages in your kitchen will have this bug, right?

There's a setting for input under oddly enough 'settings'
which allow you to assign what the hardware left/right keys do...

Oh my God!! Really????
Problem is, I'm not talking about the hardware buttons. If you read my post, you'll see it says "left SOFT key". In TF3D, when you go to the Settings tab, the left soft key will say "All Settings". This is supposed to take you to the WinMo settings, but with this bug, it always takes you to connection setup.

it is kinda. when someone makes a rom they can change the registry. like changing this setting from "stock" to HKLM\SYSTEM\GDI\GLYPHCACHE\limit=131072 this will increase tf3d responce.
Just as the title suggests.

what i suggest is using mightys rom 4.9.4 or 4.9.5 im using it. and i love it. however.. it is a CDMA rom. so if your GSM than search for advanced config. with this you can change the above mentioned glyphcache limit. or use total commander to do it manually. (total commander is a reg edit program)
try this web site..http://triton.homeip.net/RegistryChanger/
this site will make any of the changes listed onsite into cabs. follow the directions on the site.

I agree! Its like trying to get Manila2D in landscape!
Manila 2.5 isn't finished, that's why landscape doesn't work, just use 2.1 for now, and keep and eye on 2.6 .

If you are talking about Manilla 2.5, there's no landscape yet!!
if you slide the keyboard out it will rotate to landscape but with blank home screen. this version of TF3D only supports landscape in pictures and music still. the text messaging screen does not auto rotate either, if you slide the keyboard out it will go to landscape but will not go back until you use the rotate screen app to make it go back.
Rubbish Rom
i am sorry but i have to disagree, i think this rom is far too complex, for example there is no seperate section for 'My Programs' all the 'My Programs' and settings are all mixed up together, i did not like it at all

Rubbish is a little harsh to say about a rom when it is vary easy to make the start menu look any way you want with a vary small amount of knowledge.

I have been playing with this rom for 24 hours and there is a lot of little niggles due to the 2.5 manilla
HOWEVER
THIS ROM HAS A VOICE COMMAND THAT WORKS FROM A BLUETOOTH HEADSET
It looks like the bluetooth stack has been changed back for core 23047 and also 23053 to allow voice command to work.

dude...no one is going spoon feed u...read the sticky by mskip about how to flash...
what is that or water r where do I find it
Working SMS/MMS,Setting(Other),Location,BT AVRCP,Alarm/Reminder sounds as they should
So far, it's just Youtube not playing video and showing an error, the blank screen after recording a video(but could get rid of by short press on power and home button after). Other than that, its almost perfect
Is there a black bottom bar to replace this greyish bar where they have the Windows start logo, phone, menu, etc. that they have for the homepage and maybe take the circles off the button?
EDIT: I just noticed that this ROM has moving animations(if it wasn't cloudy, I wouldn't have noticed it all!) ALL THE TIME when at homepage!!!Made Youtube work by downloading app from http://m.youtube.com/appHave to add too that this doesn't have memory leaks. Not really bad for a temporary ROM. If I cannot find a ROM as good as this, or better, I might have to make this my permanent!

What's with the manila rotation?

Why did it suddenly disappear from all the ROMs?
Even Rota's has only photo and music rotation, AFAIK
Landscape on LEO manila 2.5 is not fully implemented by HTC, the cooks are unable to fix that. Only the photo and music tab supports it at the moment.
If you need landscape, there's a CAB for landscape SMS in Leo or go for a manila 2.1.
I'm sorry, but how many times have people been over this? HTC didn't implement landscape mode into Manila 2.5, except for Music and Photos tab. And even then, it ONLY works with phones that have a G-Sensor, so not the X1.

So it's an issue that came with the 2.5? I know I'm looking dumb but I want to fully understand this and I suppose there are others like me that are confused.
It was in 2.1 but not in 2.5? We should wait for HTC to do that?

As for G-Sensor, G-Spot should cover that but there still remain all the other tabs.
In the end, is patience the answer of my problems?
HTC ONLY does Manilla rotation for its keyboarded devices.... so until there is a release of Manilla for a Leo Pro, they'll be no oem rotation in the latest Leo builds of Manilla.
IMO, just another reason to ditch inefficient Manilla for either PointUI, or SPB

It's not an issue. It simply isn't supported. There isn't any need for it yet, as the HTC HD2 (Leo) doesn't have a slide out keyboard. So there is no need for a landscape home screen really. There is landscape support on the music and photo tabs, as some people may like to browse their photos and music that way.
When/if HTC decide to put Manila 2.5 on a Pro device with a keyboard, then we might see landscape mode for the other tabs. As of yet, there is nothing, and there will be nothing until HTC make it so.
It is not a bug, it is not an issue. HTC didn't make it yet, as the HD2 doesn't need it.
the interesting point is that I still can not find a ROM with manila 2.1 which has no bug .... because it's very important for me to be able to rotate the screen in manila ....
energy ROM has some bug with sms botton ... I've got really confused ....

Tell me about getting confused, there are several roms with 2.1 manila that has full support on landscape, if it didnt have, then the cook hsa done a error (unlikely) or its disabled by the cook (rather unlikely too)
But a bugfree rom will only be a reality in your dreams im afraid, cause there is no such thing. Not from us, or HTC nor SE..
I have not tested other chefs roms in here with manila 2.1, but mine sure do have landscape

Which ROM did you try?
I´ve had at least 3 which are stable - and if there is something you might perceive as a bug, it is often related to another application and/or setting I did or had to do myself.
There are quite a few Manila 2.1 based ROM´s today which you can try, with WinMo 6.1 or even 6.5 "underneath".
BTW, the worst ROM I ever had was the stock ROM. Shame on SE.

thanks for your answer ... yes I just found several ROMs with manila 2.1 and there is no problem with rotation ... but for example one of them use a lot of RAM (60%) , one of them has some problem with sms ...
for this reason I overlook manila 2.5 ... and I think energy ROM up to now is the best choice ...
