I got the x1a with the r3a firmware from rogers canada.
I had a few htc devices and something i have noticed compared to my OMNIA i900, when dialing numbers
it lags a lot. like with the omnia i can press numbers so fast and the sound and numbes play instantly, but with the X1a or other htc devices there is a lag in the sound and pressing the numbers
any solution to this?

I am running the ATT WM6 Final OS on my Treo at the moment and I am experiencing a very odd problem. When I am on a call and another call comes in with call waiting, I am unable to "answer" the call waiting call. I have experienced this many times recently and I want to know if anyone else is having the same problem?
I should mention I am running a minimized version of the ATT cappackage.db on this phone and I have only installed the HTC 2.0 Task Manager, Windows Live and Opera 8.65.
Although I have run many other versions of WM6 in the past, I have never once seen this problem until now with this install.

I use a Kaiser which is an ORANGE France Kaiser.
Flashed it with the Htc Original French ROM (that i got from Htc website it self, but it is the same we could find everywhere with the right french Radio).
I have some phone call issues, especially when i'm at home : the guy i'm calling suddenly does not hear me anymore, for a few seconds. I often hear "sorry i don't hear you anymore... i don't hear anything, you're still there?" and i have to move around at home, sometimes near a window, until the other dude hears something.
My GF does not have any problem like this with her very old sagem phone. I sometimes get this problem in other places, at work etc... I live in a rather large town and recieve hsdpa at home which makes me think it is a problem with the phone itself.
Any idea about it ?

Hello all, I have been playing around with the VoIP capabilities of WM 6.1 using L26_v9 ROM. All is working fine. I wanted get some users input on VoIP providers that not only work on the kaiser but also that provide Direct inward dialing. Meaning you have a number asssigned by the provider that rings on your device, hence essentially giving you unlimited in comming minutes. As I know there are plenty of providers out there however not many provide a inward dialing number.
I'm not particulary interested in skype for this because the sound quality that I have experienced is very poor and choppy. I'm considering Broadvoice or axvoice. Anyone with any experience with either of these?

hi guys im from the kaiser forum and i heard that the diamond will soon be released by rogers here in canada..... we r trying to figure out the name display problem..... as the only rom for the kaiser that supports the function was a beta leaked wm6 rom released about a year ago..... im just wondering if any1 has a rogers wm6.1 rom yet for the diamond so we can hopefully see wat actually makes this feature work in our handsets....
we know this works on windows mobile handsets because all of rogers wm handsets support it (tytn wm5, touch wm6, etc).. just hoping us canadians can take advantage of this service using the great cooked roms from here!!!!!
p.s. name display is an enhanced caller id which also displays the callers name even if he wasn't stored in ur contacts.... just like a home caller id feature, but for cell phones.......

My problem is that my phone keeps dialing people without me even touching it. And no i have the screen disabled and the lock on it. And the weird thing is they don't show in the numbers i dialed but my friends swear it's me and when they answer the phone they just hear me talking. This is becoming a real problem as this could cost you big time.

I now switched to itje's 6.5 rc1 rom. And haven't had the problem anymore (for as far as i know). I'f anyone knows or has a solution to this it would be greatly appreciated.
There's always the chance that you've been bluesnarfed if you hade your bluetooth connection on. This way the "snarfer" can read you sms, contact list, send you messages, dial people, control you music player etc.
I have had the exact same problem, before I installed Touch X on my phone.
