Kaiser vs. Diamond Touch

First of all i am new but i am very keen on mobile devices.
The cooking software is nice to play with your titan but have one of you realy been able to get a real clone of the diamond environment?
I would like to have my tytn II act like a diamond touch.
lets start with the display.
is it possible. please no assumptions. pleazeee.
i gues it is not but maybe some of you figured it out..
Because you're new and before others will flame you; I strongly believe that you should click on search. It was discussed more than 100 times.

Hi:
Welcome to the board
I'd say one of the best looking, and easiest ways to get a Diamond style interface is to use SPB Mobile Shell, and the Diamond skin, which you can find in post #1 here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=402021&goto=newpost
There is also a good thread which you can check out here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=400518&goto=newpost
I hope this helps, and I hope you enjoy your new phone!

Google's Android on the HTC Touch Diamond

Will it be possible? It would be much faster then WM ...
Nope, not yet, but look here for more info. Oh, and try searching before starting a new thread ;-)
close or delete thread please

need help with apps

Ok I just got my phone and installed a few programs like manilla etc didnt like them much so I did a hard reset. So is there a program that has touchflo you would recommend that is newer? With simple instructions to follow. Also I have been searching for a good emulator that plays turbografix 16 games tried smartgear morphgear they seem to be buggy and freeze up? Thanks for the replys. Also where to find some kool animated skins?

In my sig there is a "For all the people that want a cool phone" link. Click it

I have searched around the site I also read what I can and try to learn from the posts. I am not a developer nor do I understand the codes and process it takes to get the programs to work. I find it interesting and great that people on here are helpful for us that dont understand the in depth details. My last phone was a very old nokia with the pixelated screen so moving up to this phone is great. I also read your post, an as many forums grow many of the noobs also contribute. So if there is a basics pgae you can refer me to I would check that out. I do find it interesting.
Thanks
It's more of a "collected knowledge" site so there aren't many "Basics" posts the wiki would be best for that. Now as for this

Could you be more specific please? Also most emulation development has seemingly stopped.
I just found this http://www.zophar.net/pocket-pc/tg16/bf-s-engine.html

Thanks for the quick replys, I will check out the emulator page and read up on the wikipages.

Theres just one issue the top menu and bottom menu are still the same WM theme I had before I upload the new ones. I just don't know how I can fix it. I'm hoping someone on this forum would be apple to help. Thanks so much.

Although I don't have a "win", I would also not advise going under my wing either!
Just read lots on these forums...it is very straight forward, and people have spent loads of time writing up guides, so they get a little "touchy" when people ask the same questions over and over (and I am sure you can appreciate that!).
The main fork in the road for you is to get to know your device so that you can understand what you want to update/tweak/change.
This page is the main subject forums for the HD...

If you want to learn what additions can be made to your unit, then go to the "HD Themes and Apps" link
If you want to learn how to flash a new or "cooked" ROM, then click on the "Rom Development" link. You have WM 6.1...but many of the "chefs" "cook" fabulous ROMS, generally on the newer WM 6.5 OS.
If you click on the "WIKI" tab at the top of the forum, there is a whole heap of information about "How to do's" etc.
Just read lots...it takes time, but you will get used to it. Be nice and appreciative of the chefs as they do heaps for all of us, and a donation to your favorite chef helps them continue producing for us all!
Have Fun
Regards
J
