A while ago I had a Today plugin that showed (using text) the Wifi network you were connected to, if Phone and BT were on or off, and I believe you could add or remove these and a couple of other things. When clicked, this plugin would take you to the Comm Manager.
I've tried to find it, searching for hours and only found a couple of togglers. Can anyone help me find this plugin?
Thanks in advance!
It's the "Wireless Today" plugin - see my post here. It's also available as an option in the "KaiserTweaks" utility - you don't say what device you're using, so you might not be able to use that. It's also available as a setting in Schap's Advanced Config (v3.x) utility.
There's also a "Wireless Today Plugin v1.5" - see this post - that gives you the option of displaying battery / memory info too.
Hopefully one of the above will sort you out
Mark.

Phone = AT&T Tilt.
I found out about this site from Mobilitytoday this morning and have literally sat here all day playing with the incredible, free and wickedly cool things these people are nice enough to share.
I installed the "Kaiser.HTC.Home.v2.0.720719.Schaps.Color" and cannot figure a few things out:
1. The brightness fix doesn't work. I get, "Access denied..." when copying the "HTCUti1.dll" file to the WINDOWS dir.
2. Is there a better battery indicator than "powertray_489"? I was looking for something that came with the new home screen but couldn't find it.
3. I have the "Kaiser Comm Manager(10 Buttons)" comm. manager installed but the WLAN button doesn't work. It just won't turn on. I tried installing the other comm. managers but they wouldn't install.
4. Is there a way to change from Celsius to Fahrenheitfor the weather portion of the application?
5. When I slide my screen into landscape mode, there is no scroll available at the bottom to see the other items. When it is in vertical mode, the scroll is there. Odd because when I installed the “Kaiser.HTC.Home.v2.0.720719.cab” (black and white version) the scroll was there?!
So there they are. This site is awesome and I’m addicted to it already! Any help would be deeply appreciated!
Here is a big hint for you start reading and use the search button! No one will spoon feed you here all your problems have been talked about a few times so they should be easy to find
However much I would like to help, austinsnyc already said what can not be disputed. Read, read, read... when you are finished, read some more.
Do not concentrate on just the Keiser area, read ALL threads. OS isn't phone specific all the time. A fix or tweak for one phone is good for alot of phones.
I'll give you one answer though...(the easy one of course)
When you choosed your city in the weather app, click menu options and there is a box to check for Farenheit.
Good luck
being a new user myself, i can say that the search function isn't very helpful. however, there is an option in the HTC Home plugin options under weather, where you enter your city, to change it to Fahrenheit. also, to fix the CommMgr there is a registry edit you have to do, you change whatever it says to like WLAN1 or something.
Did you try the search XDA using Google sticky post?
For conveniance here's a link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=314616
Also this is not really what we think of as upgrading so I'm moving it to the Kaiser section.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone that posted a reply in here. I am trying, still having trouble finding the items but every search brings a new .cab installation to my phone!
Thanks Guys!
I happen to have the WLAn Registry fix bookmarked as I have to run it after every new ROM install. (Scroll down to find it)

Thanks for the handy link Mike. I'll put it to good use!
Hi, I just got myself a Tilt/Kaiser and have been plowing through all that it can do for the past 2 says.
I have found these forums to be a wealth of information, hence I just wanted to introduce myself and say THANKS to all of you who contribute so much to it.
Moving on, I do have two quick questions...
I downloaded and installed the HTC-Home plugin which allows me to have the large digital clock and all the other cool looking buttons. However, I am unable to find a place to download the Wireless today plugin which would allow me to have an entry for my Wifi network under the today window. I have done several searches on these forums but the most I have found are either A) Mentions of the plugin or B) Other wifi plugins. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right places? Can anyone just give me a link where I can download it?
Secondly, is there any way for me to remove tabs from the HT-Home-Today screen? Out of the 5 tabs there (Home, Fav people, Weather, Shortcuts, Music) I want to remove the Weather one.
Thanks again guys!

Try KaiserTweak, there is an option in there to enable Wireless Today.
The wireless plugin is built in to the OS anyway. If you dont want to use kaisertweak or advanced config tools to enable it, you need to find the reg tweak that enables it. I am sure it in the Hermes Wiki.
And htchome tabs are set in start, settings, personal tab, Today, HTCHOME tab.
Thank you guys! KaiserTweak worked
Hi,
I am interested in binding a button to quickly turn the wireless off and on.. It is a pain to keep going through the comm manager..
I need a little program that when executed just either enables it or disables it depending on the current state..
Anybody know of such a program?
Thanks,
Colin Jensen

I think theis might be the site:
http://ae.inc.ru/aewft.php
This function is also built into Spb Phone Suite. Very handy I might add.
Not free is downside..
http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/products/phonesuite/?en
There is also a new beta for this app which you can find here;
http://www.spbclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15808
Use Kaiser tweeks etc to turn on wireless today, which will give you a home screen plugin
Here is another free today plug in - gives you all the three buttons to toggle : bluetooth, wifi and the phone all in one place. Takes away the pain of using comm manager. I dont remember where I found it so I am just posting the CAB here.
If were going with Today Screen plug-ins I'll have to place my vote for SBSH PhoneWeaver (not free but well worth it):

Hi all.
There is a 47 page thread on this tool but I thought I'd start a new one as it seems to be such a useful tool that newcomers could benefit from, and being here it will hopefully be easier to find!
I've used Schaps Advanced Configuration Tool to:
1. Remove sim contacts from contact view (so no duplicates)
2. Turn down the volume of the starting up wav (so you can reset at work or at 1am in the morning when your partner is asleep!).
3. It works with my Windows Mobile 6.1 (HTcustom doesn't)
4. It is a .cab file (on your desktop it will appear as a ".zip" icon). All you have to do is save it to your desktop, copy it to your device (storage card will do), then tap it and install it on your device.
The link is on at the bottom of page 1 of this thread by Schaps himself:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=317070
Scroll through the 47 pages on that thread and you will find other language versions that other users have offered.
There are many options available that I do NOT know how to use or benefit from,
so if any experienced users have any tips on how to get the most out of this tool,
your reply to this thread would be most appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
Mattster.
Strange... No replies to this thread? No great settings to recommend, no change-of-life testimonials after the first use of the app?
Just installed it and went for first settings change. Let's see if my HTC Pro shall still live after I restart...
cool stuff, gonna try it out now
thanks dude!

I reckon the quietness is because people seem to only leave threads when they are unhappy about something or have a problem!! This tool is very useful. A light version is built into many ROMS these days, but this one has a few extras.
I use it on any ROM to:
1. Increase the width of the vertical scroll bar. My phone is in a leather case, so the extra width makes it much easier when using the stylus.
2. Change the default storage location for photos taken with the camera.
Hope it helps you too!

You have Direct Push enabled. Go to Settings (tab) -> Communication -> and disabled Microsoft Direct Push. You will not get your e-mail delivered automatically, however.

what ROM are you using? if you are using the stock ROM I believe that was a bug they had
solution with e.g. sk-tools
if you have sk-tools installed, go to notification queue and deactivate the entry repllog.exe in "apprunaftertimechange"; thats it

Its great this one!
Info:
But for the Touch HD dont function this one. :-(
Greets Ddriver.
it is active in case that you have email enabled on the phone especially if you setup pairing with an exchange server (syncs mails + callendar).
btw.. It does not eat more battery then usual.
No, I don't know why this question is asked time after time after time after time.
It's only 300k and it's no battery, so who cares anyway?
Hi,
I hope you are not talking about the trial, because it has some restrictions. Are you sure that concerning the repllog.exe there is no entry with "AppRunAfterTimeChange"; i think it´s a standard in wm6.1 . I would try a second look in the "notifycation queue" once more.
