Hey everyone. I've been flashing a couple of custom roms for the past month or so, and I noticed that my MMS does not work on most of them. It always gets stuck at 10% sending and then just halts.
I am on T-Mobile, and I have never messed with the settings before. Is there a way to get MMS to work?
Thanks in advance. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there, I searched around and couldnt really find anything that would help me. I Am using an HTC Tytn 2 and my Service Provider is Rogers. I have a data and phone plan with them so i know i get to send MMS messages, as I have already sent them before. All of a sudden I cannot. They sit trying to send and then just sit in my outbox. Any Ideas?

Same problem here
I have the At&t tilt but unlocked it to work with Tmobile...Can't send or recieve mms. Dont have a data plan but have wifi in my home and it still says i can't download. Help please...Thanks
you guys need to read plain and simple...
so instead of just making a remark, could you not possibly point in the right direction. I bet it would be more useful
I got a picture message from a friend today. I go to download it, i left it for 5 mintues and nothing. 74kb file. Does anyone else have this problem? is there a fix for it?
A little more info would be nice, like Carrier, also if your apn settings are correct for your carrier etc... HAve you tried a wipe? have you tried reflashing the rom?
Ive had problems with some roms that were easily corrected by reflasing.
Sorry.
Tmobile google g1 um I would haven no clue about the apn settings. Sorry noob at this.
I will try reflashing the rom. I was trying to avoid that in fear that I would loose the text message.
If you're a noob, use CyanogenMod, not some mixed rom.
So i went to cyromod 6 today. And its the same thing. BUT I can receive pictures from other people. Just not my gf's phone. I'll get more info about her phone in the morning.
do you get normal messages from her? maybe you have her blacklisted? it sounds like a carrier or apn problem maybe...
Actually i figured it out. Alot of late night google. If i have wireless turned on I can not send or receive mms messages. But if I turn it off, and with out a data plan I can send and receive them.
Only thing I noticed. A picture she sent me last night, fails to download now that i figured this out. But just might be that it was sent while wireless was on.
Maybe theres another fix around this. But thats what I figured out.
Hey guys. I Just did the update a few days ago and i am now unable to send or receive MMS messages. I have searched the forums and have rebooted the phone, waited for the picture to convert to MMS checked my data settings but, I am still at a loss...
I am just stock rooted.
Thanks
Hey I have a weird issue, I have a Rooted HTC One (M7) running Viper 2.1.0 on T-Mo USA.
Anytime I send an MMS it tells me that it hasn't sent but people still get it, several times. I have received angry responses that it went through anywhere between 3 and 12 times. Has anyone out there had a similar issue? Is it ROM Related? APN? Setting? or Network?
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Its definitely not rom related, which settings might you have it on? If it sends then its not the APN... and it might be the network, do you press the send button twice or something because it shouldn't send it several times...try a reboot and try it again...maybe its the network sending it in various forms so whoever it is your sending it to gets it several times... But first please try rebooting first and try again then report back if it still happens.

It is an issue that has carried over several clean flashes of different ROMS and picture messages to different people. I have tried rebooting and sending it and it does the same thing.
Ok everyone I need some collective help. About 2 weeks ago my MMS stopped working altogether. I have flashed every rom available for this phone and I can send and receive an MMS once and then nothing after that. I have contacted AT&T and they have worked it as much as they can on their end.
I have used every messenger app and I know that the Google app has had, I'm past that point and it seems to be with the phone or network. Does ANYONE have a clue as to what going on here?!?
