Found this, could someone cook this into a rom? Wonder how it works...
It is supposed to be a TV player tab for manila 2.5 19xx, it could not be simply installed.
Could one of the cooks post a reply to my question please?

Have you tried to install and then soft reset?
If I were you I would post this with a different title. As it is looks like we need to post our wish on future ROM development. I guess if you change to "Manila TV Tab" it will call more attention.

ok, thans, I I will. Yes, I tried to install it disabeling manila firs, rebooting and then re enabeling manilla... no luck. I read that it needs to be cooked in to the new rom. This was posted in the valkerie section als, but ignored. I thought it was a decent idea to post? Found this app under smartphonejunkie.com.

basically anything cooked into the rom is not removable.some can be cleared from a hard reset,others can't be unless you flash a lighter rom
Just flash a new rom....
Or you could build your own rom.....

Search for a rom first, there are many rom cookers on this site that feel the same way you do about unnecessary programs. Look through all the roms and you will find one that suits you.
Well I dont know about ur first problem, but as for second, there is proggie named PocketG2 Pro its like limewire, also there is torrent client for wm phones( its a paid proggie) called winmobile torrent

winmobile torrent is ok, I thought pocketg2 was shut down? I couldnt never find a cab nor when I did recall having it at 1 point that it never connected

When i make a ROM following all the step, including watching the videos, and reading the readme, when i get to the final step and flash the rom, it doesnt boot, just gets stuck at the first splash screen with the R D etc..anything obvious i might be doing wrong?

There can be thousand causes. But I think this question should be in rom development or in other more appropriate thread. There will be a higher chance that some cheff will give u some advice. Unfortunately my mom didnt learn me how to cook so I am no help for u.
Did you make sure you have every little driver, dll, etc.. It is so hard to tell what the problem is. Like Mikulec said, it could be a thousand causes and it could take forever to find the cause. Should ask a pro chef like dutty or l26 and they may be able to help you.
I'm trying to make the IE my default browser instead of Opera. When I open the IE, it asks if I would like it to be my default browser, but the only option to answer is NO.
Any ideas as to how to make this work?

But it was in THIS ROM that I had the problem. I don't understand why this was moved. This is not a software problem, nor consistent with other versions. This is a ROM development question.

So you developed a ROM as created a new thread? No. In this ROM? there are loads of ROM and if specific to a ROM then you should use the ROM thread. You have a problem where you can not select default browser IE is software hence moved to software....

Sorry, but I cannot make your sentence make sense. I don't understand what you mean. MANY people create NEW THREADS without being the developer of a particular ROM. So, I don't understand what your sentence was trying to convey.

Once again, I have a problem with the software that is COOKED into this ROM that is not indicative the software. The program works FINE in other ROMS. It is NOT a MICROSOFT problem with IE. It is a ROM PROBLEM whereas it was COOKED INTO THIE ROM!

Simplified if you have a problem with a specific ROM then use the ROM thread not start new, people get threads locked if don't use the thread already available.
Now please post in the ROM thread.

I already googled, used the searchfunction of the forum but here are too many entries i dont know which ROM to should choose. Its just too much information for me.
I just want a german ROM, which works good/perfect.
Could somebody PLEASE paste me in my new thread the linke where i can download the ROM with all needed instructions for installing.
I am really desperate and hope somebody can help me.

Nobody can really advise on which rom to use as just as many roms as there are there will be as many opinions as to which one is best. You will have to try a few and make up your own mind. This thread will soon be closed as it is against the forum rules as these threads that ask for opinions become useless as everyone has their own opinion. Just scrolling down the list this is the first German rom I saw - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=569279. You can read the thread yourself and see if it appears to be a good stable one or not based on what users are saying.
All tools and steps to flash to the new rom can be found here.

Yeah.. sorry zomi. But if you searching for a good 6.5 ROM that fits your needs, you really need to do some searching for yourself.
Try some ROMS first, then you'll know wich one is the best for you.

If you type 'german' into "search" you'll find this has been asked before.
As for which is best, this is an opinionated query which is generally frowned upon in XDA as it creates endless long threads with no solution as everyone will have a different opinion.

This is great, I love it. But before I try it, can you please answer me the following questions if you don't mind:
1. I have a Samsung Omnia i900, I already read that this will work on my phone in earlier post of this thread, but Should this replace the build in Unlock screen of the Omnia i900? (you know, that blue screen "Tap Unlock" to unlock device).
2. I also use SPB Mobile Shell 3.5.5, My ROM is the latest original WinMo 6.1 Pro that comes with the device, Will this lock/unlock of yours cause problems with that?
3. Where do I install the CAB file? in My Device or I can install it on My Storage?

This lockscreen is replacing the default lockscreen and you must install it my device, but i am not sure if its gonna work on a 6.1 rom..
- What's the worst scenario if this doesn't work on 6.1 rom?
- In case I install it (and yes, it will overwrite the original lock screen of 6.1 rom), but is it reversible? Can it be uninstalled from Remove Programs and if that is possible, will the original lock screen of 6.1 rom be back?

Whoops, i noticed some bug. I unistalled previous lockscreen, reset, installed yours, reset. Now when i lock my device there`s not sliding bar in the bottom of screen, but the little padlock symbol in the top. I`d like to have lockscreen like on the screens in your first post. Did i something wrong while installing it? My phone is Xperia X1. Sorry for my bad English.
