Alright, as some of you have noticed, I have been too busy to update my rom series for x1. The main reason is that X1 feels annoyingly slow (takes a good 5-7 minutes to flash and another 5-7 minutes to finish customization) and lack of time. Most importantly, there are no new things to upgrade to. All sys from MS is the same and all HTC are the same old stuff.
Hence I have decided to stop working on x1 series. However, if someone wants a custom rom with application that you want to be cooked in, you may click on this link to find out more.
However, I will upgrade the ROM if:
• There is a bug that cannot be fixed via cab.
• There is an upgrade from MS/HTC that improves functionality/performance
• Cookie mod upgrade that required cooking
This decision may come as a shock, and some may even find it wrong as there are many a times that a lot of you helped me out….(hell I got a TP2, HD2, a new PC and other small things with your help). However, I think this is better for me, to concentrate on individual roms and not collective ones.

i boot up tf3d and saw the my fave tab. at program tab some of the icon where white square's. turn off tf3d then install the cab. took away fave tab from tmo and programs tabs. runs at 50% windows default and 57% tf3d active. runs pretty smoothly. install smabergs classic start menu and saw programs tab again. when playin youtube it loads with small preview picture but when you try to play it kicks you back out to ui. not only that but the play buttons from youtube(fast forward,stop,play,rewind) are stuck on the screen even if disabled tf3d still stuck. only way i got it to go w/o reset is load youtube don't play anything and exit out.

i think i found the problem on youtube.....
bout myfav and program tab- i din test program tab out properly and i don have tmob to use it. and u were not suposed to load manila without the fix. even i din try it...;p...anyway atleast it loadds...lol

did tried a number of wm6.5 rom before but unfortunately didnt liked any one of those, as i favor Manila 3d over titanium.
But after seeing that your rom has both the option to play with, i couldn't resist myself from flashing it.
Currently its overwriting Touch X ultimate (was using it for last 3 week), will give you some feedback for your next release,

this is installed by default..
all you have to do is go to start/settings/today/items and check touchflow 3d

Objective of JackWater in cooking rom in past few years (for Hermes, Kaiser and now Rhodium):
Basic function of a phone must work without bug: Phone call, text message, contact, ActiveSync.
Stable
Smooth
Putting app package into ROM -> mean faster app running.
Graphic has less priority but JackWater still put some effort to make it nice but it must not be in the expanse of much performance.

General information:
I put this kitchen up is for user who need to customize their Rhodium ROM with quite latest built. I will try to update/respond to this thread and kitchen as much as possible. There are a lot of better ROM out there by our senior member. This one will be another option for the community.
Currently, I use the Rhodium at daily basis. As such I will be able to replicate the bug if report. I believe there is still some minor bug due to the build itself. Any constructive comment and bug report is welcome.

A) Quick start guide for cooking first rom from the kitchen
Download the kitchen
Unpack the kitchen file into a hard disk directory with simple path (e.g. c:\xda\). Avoiding using complicated path with directory name containing "spacebar" (replace it with underscore), to prevent complication.
Double-click Erviuskitchen.exe until "new ervius Visual bepe's Kitchen Version 1.8.2" show up.
Select Device "RHODIUM"
Select EXT Build "21854"
Select XIP Build "23075"
Select SYS Build "23075"
Check "Real WM 6.5 AKU"
Click button "Create"
Stay cool and wait to see any error code being throw out.
Note:
Expected error code:
No ''SVN'' folders present... => Is ok
Error unloacking folder if it ever show => it is ok so long NBHUtil.exe runs and create the "ruu_signed.nbh" file in "RELEASE_RHODIUM" directory.
Test status:
This kitchen has been tested many rounds by JackWater in Win XP SP3 with 20Gb free harddisk space, before uploading.

To use the setting in MaxManila -> In Home Tab | Press the center of the screen then slide left or right to see the available option. Press the center then slide up or down to expand the layout. The layout with 4 black button with word "B, ON, 0, 20" etc. is your control toggle. Playing around it you can create wonder include removing the 4 alert buttons from the Quick Link Page. To add quick link, simply click on available empty button to add program/contact/shortcut. To remove quick link, click on Menu and see what you have. Seach MaxManila to see other great fucntion. Note:
To set ILLUMINA wallpaper to Manila -> Tab Setting | Personalize | Home tab Wallpaper | Weather wallpaper | "Select the last ILLUMINA picture"
To use the setting in MaxManila -> In Home Tab | Press the center of the screen then slide left or right to see the available option. Press the center then slide up or down to expand the layout. The layout with 4 black button with word "B, ON, 0, 20" etc. is your control toggle. Playing around it you can create wonder include removing the 4 alert buttons from the Quick Link Page. To add quick link, simply click on available empty button to add program/contact/shortcut. To remove quick link, click on Menu and see what you have. Seach MaxManila to see other great fucntion. Thanks to MaxManila.
Confirmed bug:
1. Camera detail setting page text not shown. Main camera setting is working. To fix this bug download the attached file.
2. Music Tab In Landscape mode has bug. Portrait Mode working fine.
3. MaxManila Quick Link removal bug. The built in removal function can only remove program link up to 9th first shortcut. The subsequent 11 program shortcut can only be removed by Registry editting followed by softreset. No perfect fix but there is work around by installing the attached "JW QuickIcon-Erase Icon 10 to 20.cab" to erase all the last 10 item and relink the button.
4. Slow video playback. Install "tnyynt SD TuneUP.cab" as attached.
5. GoogleMap error. Search & install GoogleMap cab file.
6. No ShowCase. To install the attached Showcase. Once install, the Lauching icon is tranparent and on the top right corner clock. To launch showcase, click the top right corner small clock to show the button. When the button disappear, click the clock one more time. Wait for awhile for the showcase launch.
7. Zoombar not working in Opera. Install the attache cab "JW Opera Zoombar enabler for m2.5.cab". it also enable zoombar in certain other application.
8. MMS not working. Install cab "MMS Fix (M2.5) (General) (Valkyrie).cab". After installing, go to the Messaging tab within Manila, and click All Messages. Then click Menu -> Settings -> Options
Then click Menu -> MMS Server. Click on SampleMMSC, and enter your MMS settings based on provider. Then your MMS should be working!
Important note: to softreset after applying fix.
Note: All the above fix will be included in the next ROM revision update.

My procedure of using the kitchen come a bit slow... It is there now.
I have just updated the procedure in Post #2, you may check whether the setting of the ervius kitchen is the same as the procedure.
See whether the run time error persisted. Thanks for reporting.

I believe this problem should be isolated case on your pc if the procedure is followed and the kitchen is fresh from extraction.
Remember to put it under simple directory with no spacebar for the directory name.
The kitchen should works.
I couldn't help to diagnose the problem without being provided with more information.
Please attach the build log.

kitchen seems to work pretty good. i was able to build a rom excluding the manila and some of the htc stuff like notifications. however i am having a weird deal where i set the background with my image and it only shows on the chome screen and not in all windows it shows the stock background. I used to see this when manila was loaded but have not seen this on a 6.5.1 rom. is there something i can disable that will allow my image to be everywhere for the background?

Glad to hear that it works for you.
For manila 3d, the background for Home can be changed to any wall paper by changing wallpaper at Setting Tab of manila (not the Chome setting). This is method doesn't cook it into the rom.
For cooking it into ROM you need to edit the following 4 files of manila:
29cff4fe_manila
058acf31_manila
77feee1d_manila
70083a29_manila
These are encrypted files. You need tool like cfc_gui.exe to convert it into png and convert back after finish. I have not found out the exact format/size of image inside the file. So far, I just did try and error method. For me, it only work when the original image pixel x,y size is maintained.
I heard that there is a tool to convert wallpaper of every tab of manila with single function. Let me know if you happen to find such tool. I may be able to figure out the method to do it the correct way.

thanks its working but cant change start menu background
and phone canvas not working even tried to enable and disable skin but no luck

yeah i curious why this is doing this since i exclude manila when i built the rom. using on a rom with titanium only the background carries to all windows of the rom.
do you plan on making a 23081 kitchen?
i love kitchens vs just a prebuilt rom. i like to leave out a lot of fluff. i am very happy wit this kitchen thus far. thank you for the efforts!

1st Build was with Your Kitchen nothing disabled, using your steps - Build Successful and Flashed. (Please Note: Windows Vista and Windows 7 users have to right click and run as administrator for ErviusKitchen.exe)
2nd Build was with Your Kitchen apps disabled for Clean Install - Build Successful and Flashed.
3rd Build was with Your Kitchen, some of your apps, OEM, and then 23081 Build - Also Successful and Flashed
As many of you know I have cooked for the Hermes, Tilt, and Fuze.
These ROMS will primarily be set up for the Tilt2 but will have features to make them work with any carrier with a few minor changes. All ATT settings will be included "out of the box". The Tilt2 keyboard fully works as well as all connections. I am adding in the HTC manila 2.5 as well as many new features from the leo and other devices.

YOU MUST HAVE HARDspl TO INSTALL THIS ROM OR ANY OTHER CUSTOM ROM.
THIS ROM IS ONLY FOR GSM DEVICES
Several things are installed during customization. Please do not skip the customization.
AT&T users will find it already set up for use.
Non-AT&T users need to run the ADC to set up connections. I have placed a handy link in tools.
Non AT&T users must also Change their keyboard layout.
Some european users will need to make this change to send sms.
If you make modifications to TF3D please do not ask me to solve your problems. It is hard enough to support a rom in general without people breaking things on thier own and asking for them to be fixed. Feel free to report if a certain mod does not work for other users.

if you use disable xt9 cab you will get stuck in number mode eventually. Your SYM hardware button WILL NOT WORK with the disablext9 installed. Uninstall it from remove programs.

Install the first one, soft reset, then install the second one.
This is working perfectly for me, only thing wrong is the unread message number doesn't show in a bubble on the messaging tab in touchflo.
I tried installing "Zenyee SMS Unread Count Patch.cab" and it just messed things up (killed SMS all together actually!)
You still get sound notification and new message notification on the top.
hope these steps are simple for everyone to follow. Feel free to ask any questions if you need more clarification.

I'm not sure it's just me or not. The ROM seems to work fine. But it I install the 20-shortcut cab in post# 3, sense becomes unstable. First the boot time becomes very slow. Then from time to time the phone will not wake up from standby when power button is pressed. Also the background I use becomes distorted in proportion (which is understandable because it might did some trick on resolution or recalculated the display position in order to squeeze more shortcuts in). Anybody else got the same problem?

Manila is nice, but I don't care for the overhead and switched back to the
default WM version. Sure does seem to boot faster, and the menus are much
faster.

Icon is white because of manila messaging. It overides mine. Im working on a color set.

BG4all will slow it down a bit. Your bg is quite possibly your problem. Post it for me and ill see. I can straighten it out for you.
Im gonna hunt today and see if anyones put out a better version of BG4all
I removed the BG4all due to apparent issues. Had to hard reset a little bit ago. Ill see what I can do for a new one today. I may do a revision of the rom as well.

My background is a family picture. Even though the jpg file is a lot bigger than the screen display, it shows up in background with auto center fine before I applied the 20-shortcut cab. After applying the cab, the people in the background picture shrunk skinny ( I wish I were that skinny... ). And the phone becomes unstable (mostly unresponsive, but some time will not wake up from standby at all that I have to soft reset...). Thanks.

Who's BG4all did you use? I have a few versions of it in my kitchen folders. I'll take a look and see if any are significantly different than the one you used.

Uhhh god question lol. Only one that worked when i got this manila. I found a new one though so hopefully it will work.
One question. Since beta1, while talking on a call with BT, and press the power button to turn off the screen, the light senor will keep sense the light to turn the screen back on.
Is it supports to be like this? (don't have this problem before).
Anything can change to make the light senor disable after pressing the power button while in a call? Because it keep cut off the calls while I put the phone in my pocket. (maybe little light go in my pocket sometime to make the screen turn on by the senor and hit the END key.)
Anyone having this same issue?

This ROM Series is now going to be offered in 2 versions, with the default build being the Standard Lost in Asia Look. With all standard icons and no other customizations other than some nice apps.
Then a New version called "Touch of GLASS". With all glass theme icons, clock, manila slider etc. This new theme will be made with new GLASS theme and Icons. See this Thread for more information.

First Let me say, Everyone has different taste. This is why we have so many different ROM's to choose from. Most all of the ROM's here are good and I find it just comes done to personal preference. Some people like black others don't, some like ROM's ready to go out of the box, others don't and want to configure themselves etc etc.
This ROM is made with some changes from the stock ROM. It uses the Latest MS builds and a few customizations. With some of my personal start menu organization. I like a clean start Menu. I have made some tweaks for speed and stability. I find that our HD2 is already plenty fast for any user so there is no need to cut up and gut out our ROM's to gain some small amount of unnoticeable improvement. I also like to give users the choice in how they like to configure there ROM which is why I use Preset Installer. There will be Many programs you can install from Preset Installer instead of having them built in. I have added a few apps, and a few removed. You can load them from cabs found here on XDA or Through Preset Installer. Or let me know and I can provide it for you.
** Before you FLASH this ROM-YOU MUST HAVE HSPL2 or Now HSPL3 I recommend 2.08 HSPL. See this thread for HSPL and instructions. Please we owe it to Donate to DarkForces Team HardSPL by bepe and Cotulla. Without our HSPL were would you be?

NEW Rom Online
Which ROM is right for me?
Standard: Comes with most all software and apps and is ready to go after flash.
Standard is also a Full version of HTC Sense With all Languages included.
Standard also is good for users who wish to apply themes and or add and remove manila mods etc.
Lite Version: Rom is a light base ROM that can be customized to anyone needs through Preset Installer. This ROM is also faster because all the apps loaded after flash benefit from the Extendir performance increase.
Many of the stock and custom apps have been removed for installation through Preset Installer.
Manila is less than half the size of the ship ROM. More than 3000 files are removed from the windows folder with this version.
Manila is cfc compressed, and all Lang files except WWE are removed.
Manila mods are uninstallable, if you uninstall a manila mod you will have to reinstall manila again from Preset Installer. (Not a big deal only 2 min)

How to install?:
Copy the Extendir folder found in download to the root of your storage card. Flash the ROM as usual, Soft Reset, then go to th Start Menu and select Preset Installer. When Preset Installer comes up you can click next and install the programs or utilities you want by checking the boxes for each program. You can Also choose from one of the Preset Configuration if available for that version. Then Click next and then install. NOTE: A box with a bold check will install automatically to Device, if it has a faded check this means you will be prompted for install location. This is needed for programs that require user intervention like FingerKeyboard Google Mapsetc. Don't let device go to sleep during install!!. Device will reboot after installation. You can remove any of the programs as needed from the Remove programs in System. I have made some new .cab files with shortcuts to my Start Menu folders structure. So if you try to use these cabs on another ROM it likely will not work. Read the install instructions inside the Extendir folder. WARNING do not copy or redistribute any of the cabs found in my Extendir Folder. I name them with LIA to distinguish them as being modified for my ROM. Some of these apps are proprietary and can cause trouble if posted somewhere else.

Changed Action Screen and EndKey Apps Backgrounds to match
Removed Start Menu Semi transparent overlay. Causes the start menu to be darker than home screen. Now the screen is nice and bright same as today.

Ok my friends an supporters. My Blog site is back online finally as I had to change hosting services. All links should now be working. The good thing is I now have unlimited bandwidth and 24/7 support with a guaranteed 99% online time. I will also have a forum if I decide to use it. For right now everything should be back to normal after the transfer but let me know if something is not. I'm very tired from all of this and in need of some sleep. But I have a lot of things to beta test and new version to release so I hope everyone will visit to keep up on the news as it happens, here and on the blog site. Also be sure to use the FAQ and post them there as we can start to build a good reference section.

Hey bobsbbq. Man, JUST got my tmobile HD2 today and yours is the first rom I'm trying. Im eager to check out the extendir function. Havent even had a chance to change my sig. lol! Anyways, I like the look a lot and have one question. To return to say a stock look in manila, we would just uncheck all options for manila customization when going into the preset stuff we want and then in that same menu, we should see an option to reinstall manila? Thanks a lot bob and looking forward to report back more as I get to use the phone.
Only thing I've noticed so far is there is the overlap in the minmize/maximize part of the dialer as has been common in lots of roms. I know theres a fix for it that can be cooked in, but can't remember where. And the lockscreen has the calendar window that stays up all the time, even when there is no appt. Ive attached the files to the post below. Just copy them to windows and windows\lockscreen.

Your Radio is correct. The nbh is not corrupt. Use 7zip program to unzip. I know I need to add this to the instructions. I use a very high level of compression which is not supported by some other programs like winzip rar etc.

Thanks for the fix the modified Lockscreen from Dinik I don't think has this problem.
As for the manila yes you can just uncheck the manila mods if using the regular version. if you are wanting to revert you will uninstall then you will install again without the mods.
Next version will make this possible with Preload as well.
For those of you who are beta testers or private members the first beta of the new versions is online now. It is a TMOUS version 23559 with Extendir 2

Yeah, the Dinik lockscreen doesnt have the problem as the .cpr's have already been modified. Just the original if you choose that option. Thanks for the instructions and I did get manila installed as stock. Overall, the rom is great so far my man. My brother seen it and the performance and wanted the exact same rom too. Two fans in 24 hrs aint bad. lol.

First off I want to say your rom looks amazing from the pictures that i've seen . But im having a problem I cant seem to extract it . It keeps asking me for a password and if i dont put one it leaves out files . Ive used winrar and 7zip to unzip !

OH my GOD beautiful graphics ! impressive work , I like the high end graphics ,the Anastasia style icons and the softkey bar buttons.
great taste in choosing everything together and the wallpaper is just SO SO BEAUTIFUL.
ROM is so fasst , no bugs what so ever , battery is still on 83% after few hours of EXTENSIVE TESTING .
I feel I am running a snapdragon on the ROM
GREAT JOB ,
i will give it
8/10 for speed
9/10 for graphics and visual styles eye candy
8/10 for stability
10/10 for battery life
by the way I have never given any ROM here more than 8 no matter how good it is ,I am so gready and picky when it comes to grading a ROM.
Its is definitely no.1 ROM for the Touch HD ,ROM is highly recommended

In file exporer app you want to select a file or more (select files all/several) for deleting/copying/cutting, but nothing happens..

Hi, I am trying this rom, its working pretty good atm, I have a question though when I am on a call I keep hearing a sonud like every 30sec (pling) lik if a message arrive or like I my conversation is being recorded, Could you tell me what it is? and how do I stop it.

That's because XIP COM 5. SMS ringtones no problem. Rom very fast.

The ROM dated 17/10/10 has no CHT 185 or CHT Editor cooked in, I have tried that rom twice and after install it had NO HOME SCREEN I then installed CHT 185 and CHT editor and it worked fine.

The ROM dated 17/10/10 has no CHT 185 or CHT Editor cooked in, I have tried that rom twice and after install it had NO HOME SCREEN I then installed CHT 185 and CHT editor and it worked fine.

i can not understand why is without the cht.cab this rom was.

OK! Sorry.....! Fix CHT v1.8.5 for APCT1.0c.
Update new APCT2.0 ROM v23569 with CHT v1.8.5 [18/10/2010]
