Help with upgrade please

Hello All,
I'm new to this Forum, but have been reading intently for a while now.
I have a O2 XDA 2s (Blue angel)
Rom Version-1.40.00 WWE
Radio-1.12.00
ExROM-1.40.242 WWE
I have tried to update the ROM with Helmi_BA_WM2k5_AKU3.5_v1.4.CF2
I have the latest version of active sync (4.5) but when upgrading ,the upgrade screen does not show the existing ROM details and produces error 101.I
I have done a soft and even a hard reset, but no change...
If I am eventually sucessfull in upgrading the ROM to WM5, what are the main benifits and will the unit be stable with all functions?

Thanks for getting back so quickly, I have read the frequantly asked questions and I realise the questions I'm asking will be basic for a seasoned hack.However if I use the O2 ROM update .exe I can see ROM details ect , but using the MaUpgrade-noid there is no ROM details?
I have tried using Bootload with no change...

Trinity & Dopod810 Wm6 Rom

hi there, first off i know there are tons of posts on here regarding upgrading to the dopod wm6 rom. My problem is i keep getting the ERROR [262] message when it gets to around 28% during the upgrade.
i'm a noobie at this and i like to think i've got the necessary apps i need, like the hard spl 1.30, the dopod 810 official rom followed the instructions but keep getting the same message. i'd appreciate any help or references. thx

Search the forum and the wiki and try to locate the Dopod Rom version without IPL/SPL.
Then, the flashing should be no problem.
It worked for me.

thx riri22 for the response. could u post the link to where you downloaded urs if you still got it. i've bookmarked like 20 pages since ur last post including the wiki page. nothing specific.
i got the ax3l rom at the moment. its brilliant only problem is the ringtone bit which only allows nasty "ring-standard". that wasnt the case before as i could select ones in the mem card to use. so i figured it may have "developed a bug??" hence my search for the official dopod 810 rom which aint installing!!

Take no offence bro, but next time you should search the site more carefully

HELP!! How can I change My Xda from German to English

Hi peeps
I'm new here. I have a Xda O2 phone with windows mobile 5.0 but it is in German. I want to change the language into English but the many many attemps are fruitless untill now. I searched the internet for possibilities, tried them also but no succes. Does anyone have any tutorial for this specific phone with steps which will work for sure? please help me out

Herald flashing problem

Hi,I`m new user on this forum so if I posted wrong please excuse me.
My problem is that i`ve got a herald with italian language,and I tried to flash a new rom on it and while flashing something got wrong and now it`s stuck in bootloader and appears IPL 1.08.0001 and SPL 1.08.0001.Can you please help me?I`ve searched the internet for 6 hours and i`ve found nothing.please help me

try to flash rom again with official rom ~ ftp://xda:[email protected]/Uploads/Herald/Official%20WM6%20roms/
