Hey all you smart people.
I hope some of you have a helping hand you can reach out and help me here. I have a Kaiser (obviously) and it has been working perfectly for almost 2 years now. But all of a sudden today i stopped working for me. Its not completely dead and it boots nicely but when its done it stuck with almost a white screen. . Its not the screen cause as you see when i slide the keypad out it reveals some of the real screen on the right but i still cant do anything or press anything. If anybody have an idea or have heard or seen this before please help me. I have search and can't seem to find anyone with the same problem but maybe this is the place to get help.
Thanks in advance.

Not a problem....
hi everyone. this is my first time posting here but i've been lurking for a few days. i'm having a problem with my htc fuze diamond. when the keyboard is open and the screen goes into landscape mode....well....look at the picture. i have no idea how to fix this. if someone could help i would be so appreciative...as you can see the folder names don't come up right. also, if i try to type within a field in a program the text is all jumbled the same way.

Hi,
im new here an I got a problem with the touchscreen of my touch diamond.
I can calibrate it, but a few minutes later it is de-calibrated...
for example: when I want to press a button on touchscreen I have to push 1cm away.
Sorry my english is very bad, but I hope you understand my problem.
I tryed Hard resets, different roms, radios. everytime the same problem...
Maybe it is a hardware based bug?

Faulty touch screen
I have a touch screen fault also. Could you try drawing vertical and horizontal lines in note (or similar application) and see if it has the same effects as the attached image.
I would also like to know if there is a fix, ie new touch screen.

I followed the dis-assembly tut on xda and on Youtube and managed to put everything back together in (more or less) one piece, but now my Galaxy S won't turn on. What'd I do wrong? One thing that I've noticed is that I might have ever so slightly torn the black ribbon cable; the one that connects the capacative buttons to the rest of the phone. But other than that, I'm pretty sure I did everything right. What should I do now? I went through hours upon hours of trouble and followed the tut step by step but I still managed to mess up. What's the best course of action at this point?
Thanks in advance.
Here's a closeup of the torn cable:
