Hi All,
I just got myself a new Samsung Beam - anyone have any idea if it shares any code with the Galaxy S?
How can I open a new forum on XDA for it? It's a terrific phone but I can't find much community for it

Where you ge it?
An for how much $?
Are you sure? I was under the impression that it wasn't yet released. Infact I haven't heard any more on it since MWC back in feb.

Hi Guys,
Attached is the ROM of the Samsung Beam.
It has Android 2.1, with support for flash and an internal Projector

Can someone make Froyo work on the Beam? That would be great!
Skype got an official update and is supposed to support video calling.
However the list of supported phones is restricted in the description of the application: Google Nexus S, Sony Ericsson Xperia neo and Sony Ericsson Xperia pro.
I tried it on my SGS and I can't see any option to video call. I'm running 2.3.4 official.
Has someone been able to use that feature on SGS ?

No you're not, as 2.3.4 is not officially available for the Galaxy S yet. I wonder if that's the problem?

Sorry, I guess I came across as sarcastic - not intentionally, I assure you I was wondering if the 'leaked' firmware had something to do with the problem, but it seems not...
I see the samsung announcement at ces that the Note and Tab 7.7 are the first Samsun Approved Devices For Enterprise (SAFE). But what does this mean? And will it help me if I already have a Note? Will it come with a firmware upgrade or is it just new software?
I am partic interested in the All Device Encryption feature.
Anyone know anything about this?
Ben
Hello Everyone!
Does anybody know if anyone is working on a One UI 3.0 Rom?
I would absolutely love to get One UI 3.0 to come to the Note 9.. so does anybody think someone is possibly working on that?
At least no official ROM/update on Note9 for UI3.0.
Maybe later the forum has someone can customize it.......

That would be so awesome, just thought somebody might know anyone who is working on something like that.
Howdy folks,
I have this old, Android KitKat-based, Android HMDI MediaPlayer called "OpenHour Gecko" which I'd love to give a new purpose. There's no more support from the producer of this neat little machine :-(
Can anyone please give me a clew where and with whom I can talk about this? Here you can find the specs -> https://www.cnx-software.com/2015/0...-player-features-hisilicon-hi3798m-processor/ <-
Thanks in advance and best regards from Germany,
the.kringel
Update: I basically know how to flash Android-based phones, did this successfully to my Samsung Galaxy Note4 and my girlfriend's Fairphone 2.
