FriendStream.apk - Hero, G2 Touch Themes and Apps

Hello,
I searched a few hours to find the FriendStream APK.
Does someone know where I can find this? If not, can someone extract it from a ROM? If not, do you know how I can get it?

tried to use extracted friendstream.apk on Eris 2.1 leak and got the error message "cannot install on this device"... may only work on legend rom...

I got the same kind of message from extracting a the flipping clock from an original hero rom putting it on a custom hero rom. so don't be put off by that message. You have to do something else to it to make it work.
Kendong2 made the flip clock work doing deodex or something and making an update.zip. I still don't know how to deodex, or else I would have tried it by now. He describes what he did in comment #16 and creates a working update by #18. he might make friendstream work too, in some kind of update.zip format.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=632766&page=2

is there any rom where the friendstream works?
is it odexed in that rom? (-> is there an .apk AND .odex file in it?)
it will most certainly work only on the same version (1.5 OR 2.1) as it does now. if someone finds a rom where it works i might have some time to deodex it later today, then you could try it in other roms. but tbh i don't think it will work, as porting apk's from one android version to another doesn't seem to easy.

I use the Clean Eris ROM from Lox: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=642573
I thought ROM Villain 3.4 has FriendStream:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=622468. I have tried a lot lately.
I asked nprussel if he can extract it from his ROM (if it is included)

i can extract it myself, i just don't know where it is working as i don't use all that social network bs...

this is from ALPHA-Legendary-v1.0, please try it. do not dare to say "doesn't work" without attaching logcat!
edit: added version from behero v1.3.2.
edit2: check last post of this thread, update.

I installed the Legend ROM but have no icon and widget visible.
The BeHero FriendStream has the same result

although there is a smiley at the end of the sentence i was serious about this. but well, what the heck...

i wasn't aware that there was a widget, so it was not included in the last update.zips i provided here. try again with these if you want to, and give logca... ah forget it. just try.

Hmmmm.
No luck on my site. Maybe someone else?
I wipe the data, added the legend/behero update zip en rebooted.
I had no icon and the widget was also not available.
I went to Settings-applications-Manage apps-HTC Sense and cleared the data.
Still no program-icon and widget visible.
When you have any suggestions, let me know. Else I want to thank you for your input!

my suggestion: shut down phone, plug in usb cable, start phone, go to pc, open command line, type "adb logcat > c:\logcat.txt", open your browser with this thread, hit reply, attach c:\logcat.txt and hit submit reply...

logcat attached.
Nothing related to FriendStream is in it
Have I done the installation right?
I wiped the data, flashed the ZIP file and rebooted the phone.
Edit:
Could thought nothing would be there.
I ran logcat twice. Now I saw some FriendStream lines.

Have started logcat | grep Friend while the phone was starting.
Results as below:

Clock Widget Switcher v1.9.6 [FINAL]

UPDATE: I no longer have my G1 so I will not be continuing development of this program. Currently, my only project is Find and Pull (in my sig), so feel free to use that (quite useful for me )
Hey guys,
I've been working on a Windows program that will switch your clock widget for you.
Decided to start my own thread so I could manage the updates easier.
CWS v1.9.6
CWS v1.9.6 Mirror
Confirmed working on:
CyanogenMod, TheDude, JF 1.5, Google/HTC Ion, Rogers, JACxRom
ALL CLOCKS - 4x3 and 2x2 -
PREREQUISITES:
Android USB drivers installed (More info on this in next post)
USB Debugging Enabled
HOW TO USE:
1. Connect G1 to computer via USB
2. Extract the files from the .zip
3. Run ClockWidgetSwitcher.exe
4. Everything after that is self-explainable!
HOW TO ADD CUSTOM CLOCKS:
There are now 10 empty folders within the ClockWidgets directory.
5 for 2x2 clocks and 5 for 4x3 clocks.
Move the AlarmClock.apk into the proper folder:
If it's a 4x3 then you have the folders: customclock1, customclock2, customclock3, customclock4, and customclock5
If it's a 2x2 then you have the folders: 2x2customclock1, 2x2customclock2, 2x2customclock3, 2x2customclock4, and 2x2customclock5
Now open the program like usual and 5 new options are added at the end to push those clocks.
HOW TO ADD PHOTOS FOR CUSTOM CLOCKS:
Add the screenshot of each custom clock into its respective folder.
Make sure it's named "device.png". If no photo is available, the default will be used. (Default just being a picture which says 'Custom Clock #_').
HOW TO ADD NAMES FOR CUSTOM CLOCKS:
Add a text file to each custom clock into its respective folder.
Make sure it's named "name.txt". Also make sure there is only 1 line, which has the name of the clock. This will be used in status label at the bottom. If no file is available, the default will be used. (Default just being 'Custom Clock #_').
Changelog and credits are all in app.
If anyone wants the source code, just ask me, and I'll PM it to you.
If anyone has any suggestions or features they would like implemented, LET ME KNOW. I'll try and see if it's possible and if it's useful enough.
Frequently Asked Questions:
1. Will this work on my phone?
No, it won't. This is only for Windows. If you want a version for your phone, use th4r's method here, or the more enhanced version by linuxrebel
2. The program doesn't want to open on my computer. What's wrong?
Most likely, you will need to update to the newest version of .NET framework. I'm using 3.5, so that could be the issue.
3. I used the program and it said my clock was pushed, yet I still see my clock or I see 'Problem Loading Widget'. Que paso?
Remove the clock widget from your home screen and re-add it. I am trying to find a way around this, so any help would be appreciated.
4. Will this work with OpenHome, aHome, dxTop, or any of the other home replacement apps?
I have NO clue at all, lol, so until somebody with one of these comments on that, we shall never know.

How To Install USB Drivers
1. Must download the correct drivers; If using Haykuro's SPL, then here, else you must download the Android SDK and you'll find the drivers in there.
2. Now the next part turns out to be a little hard for some; I've had some problems in the past with this. Step 3 of this guide has some info. If you still cannot get it to work, then do a quick search on XDA and you'll find guides like this one here.

i tried every single clock too just to be sure
so enjoy Rogers users
this also works with JacxRom
updated OP with new version
added 3 new clocks by Ted + manup, prash, and matt_stang

Thanks very much~
PS: I have install the usb driver for my G1 already.

Blackhole 1.1 Beta ROM now available in ROM Manager

Thanks to your enthusiasm and encouragement I have finally been able to release the first stable version of my rom, Blackhole 1.0 to ROM Manager. This should be able to be flashed over any existing ROM.
This is a JK6 based Froyo ROM.
Instructions:
Open ROM Manager
Click "Download ROM"
Click "Sonofskywalker3"
Click "Blackhole 1.0 for Vibrant"
Choose your boot/shutdown animation (if you pick "No Animations" the startup will be a blank screen, don't panic)
Choose your Calendar
Choose your Desk Clock (experimental)
Choose your extra keyboards (Swype is default because if you remove it, it's a pain to get back)
Choose your Launcher
Choose your Lockscreen (experimental)
Choose your Media Player
Choose your MMS
Choose your Modem
Choose your Theme
Choose addons (Stock apps, Live wallpapers, Widgets, extras)
Select if you want to backup your current rom (YES!!) and/or wipe data (strongly recommended)
Press ok to reboot and install
The initial bootup is usually pretty long, and depending on what you chose there may be a few force closes at your first boot, but you should be fine after that.
Standard disclaimer:
Even if you follow these instructions exactly there is no guarantee that this will work. You may brick your phone. You may get stuck with a force close loop. You may lose some data. You will void your warranty. You may catch on fire. By downloading this rom you agree that none of these things is my fault, and that any damage to personal property, mental sanity, economic stability, financial impunity or anything else that happens as a direct or indirect result of you flashing this ROM cannot be blamed on me. Capish?
Thanks so much to my team of dedicated beta testers:
xanvincent
aksoutherland
dasunrule32
Peregrine
mhseraphim
salithox
I know i've forgotten some usernames, but not their contributions. please remind me of your help if i've left you out, and i'm sorry.
Please enjoy this Custom ROM, and for any feedback, problems, requests, comments, compliments, insults, poo flinging or the like please visit the official Blackhole forums at www.androiddoes.net/sonofskywalker3. I check those far more often than here, but I will still try to address any concerns here brought up here as well. And i'm always available via email at [email protected] and frequently online at freenode irc channel #sonofskywalker3. Happy flashing boys and girls.
And as always, if you appreciate my work, please consider showing me a little love through the donate link in my signature. If you don't like my work, please let me know how I can fix it.
Post some pics

It's a stock theme unless you pick the Nexus S theme by the3dguy while downloading, so pic's would be underwhelming, but i'll try to get some screenshots of the nearly empty app drawer that you'll have if you pick "No Thanks" on all the optional software.
hmmm, I'm still getting the same error after deleting the data associated with Rom Manager as well.
sounds awesome I'm gonna give it a spin when i get home tonight!
Still can't download. same message "Error occurred while processing this ROM!"
I also got an error "processing" rom for download as well.
Ok guys, sorry for all the problems, There's a massive amount of code to go through, thanks for your patience. I think I may have it sorted now, please try again, making sure you back out of the sonofskywalker3 section and pick it again to refresh the manifest.
Thank you for fast fix! Downloading 21%...
Edit: Errors while downloading rom.
It says in the notification window
"ROM Download Error"
"Stock MMS: http ://ww w.androiddoes.net/sono...(cut )"
similar error for the cyanogenmod mms as well being set in the notifcation area.

Stock and Cyanogenmod MMS links appear broken, I've already reported it to Sonofskywalker. Hang tight guys. This ROM is the quickness once we get these ROM manager issues resolved.
This ROM is extremely fast. Will be using this as a daily driver.
taken care of the mms issue now i believe. sorry guys, thanks for your patience and helping me work out all the kinks.
Sorry I wasn't able to assist last night sonofskywalker, had to do some Christmas shopping, time will be limited this evening as well, but I will try to join in this evening.

[WIP] MIUI Port -HELP NEEDED-

(Originaly Posted by popdog123)
This is a work i continue as popdog123 is very busy, so i think we shall do our best and let him work on his work, or whatever hes doing,
See The 2 Reserved, comments to get latest info!
Hello!
Ok so this is an attempt to port MIUI to LGP500. We are trying this because porting on the Galaxy 3 (LDPI armv6) was a success and i'm sure it will work on our device too.
This is what we're using so far: MIUI for Milestone, Desire & Overflow ROM
So far this has been done:
ADB now working
Merged framework.jar from base rom with MIUI one
Replaced all apks with miui except LatinIME.apk which seems to give an error on boot
Use libs, bin and xbin from base rom
Merged permissions
[Update 9.07.2011 - 17:48 GMT+3 DST]
Now using framework from CM7
Libs, and bins from CM7
Boot.img still from Overflow (CM7 Boot.img stops adb on boot after a while - so using Overflow for developing for now)
Replaced many smali files in framework but errors keep popping up - I think framework is pretty screwed up now and must be redone (again)
No more nasty error on boot (with stack dump and stuff...)
No need for logcat now because errors come from framework
[Update 11.07.2011 - 15:32 GMT+3 DST]
MIUI boots up and we have graphics BUT
It only boots up to some error dialogs that say some processes force closed with "Close" and "Report to MIUI"
Gapps, Provision, and StatusBar force close so they need work
Removed ContactsProvider.apk and CalendarProvider.apk
[Update 14.07.2011 - 10:58 GMT+3 DST]
Fixed framework.jar - no more errors seem to come from it
New zip not made on mac so no low memory errors
New problem that might fix the apps: All apps look for their classes.dex in /cache/dalvik-cache but only system classes are there. The app classes are created in /data/cache/dalvik-cache
All apps are back because the errors don't come from them
[Update 28.07.2011 - 18:53 GMT+3 DST]
Added dalvik-cache to /cache script
New zip with init.d script and updated framework
Need to fix dead code in framework
Need new kernel
Need MDPI apks
Need libs that don't make the apks crash
Latest flashable zip:
http://www.multiupload.com/VNM8QTDBZ3 [Updated 28.07.2011] Thank you 4silvertooth
10/14/2011
Replaced all Apk's (Now using latest MIUI 1.10.07 (STABLE)
Replaceed Android Policy (With Milestone's)
Replaced Services (With Milestone's)
still boots up, only FC was keyboard
(DOES NOT BOOT! DON'T FLASH IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING!) Sorry... i had to put this in big red letters because apparently people didn't see it well...
If you would like to help go ahead. Download the rom or make your own one if you don't like our development and give input. But most of all don't try to bring us down with "this can't be done" stuff. It can be done and it was done for another armv6 device. We need to get apps and framework to work and rom to boot. Libs and bins will come after...
This being said i would like to thank these people for their work so far and for making me get off my ass and do something useful:
4silvertooth
jazux
DJoptimus-One
Also i would like to thank overflow for his rom. It's the base for our miui so far.
!
Special Thanks to!
Popdog123
For starting the port and to get it to even boot,
Thanks To!
4silvertooth (teaching me on how to)
jazux (telling me what to do)
DJoptimus-One (yeah he made stuffs also as i dont know)
For helping to get this port to work,
TO DO:
See the difference in this files:
android.policy.jar
services.jar
framework-res.apk
framework.jar
(as we only looked at framework.jar we)
we got no progress, but now we can do get it!
(Akash.gupta made the launcher work on galaxy 3, and on the port of MIUI)
Nothing is impossible we need to see what we are missing
and try to edit and recompile and test on our phone,
Whats the status so far ? I mean actually where have we reached ? What things aren't working ?

Im sorry, but with your non-working roms u r the one whos spamming the entire dev section of P500.
First you start to "porting" ROMS to our P500, then, when u fail, start a new thread involving a "supercrazyamazing rom with extra-cheese", and only was a themed rom, but hey, no rom, because u cant figure it to enable sd-mount and show us screenshot of your fail (sorry, rom). Then u take others ppl work (like dr.notors) and continues as ur work? sorry m8 but im not spamming either threatening u with the mods. I dont even know why ur threads are still open.

again thats not spam, and i quited the rom and i do not have time,
The ihero is partly working, and SD-Card mounted,
Doktor notor's rom is not stolen i said i do a topic for it, as people may not go to his forum,
Please do read before posting man And why some threads is still open and not closed or deleted is because I or anyoneelse exept mod can close it (or administrator's) so i have tried close some topics with no luck, so what you can do is ask mod to do that for me ?
Well it would be great if you work on a single port and make it a complete success rom.
As dj said team envy is all there to help you out but we need a fully working rom as all the thread remains incomplete.
Well lets port miui :d

A quick tip from my side :- consider andy for the launcher. Remember his rom that was removed RC4.1 or something. He has always used a launcher actually and fully modified by HIM, and also with his upcoming legendary rom, he is doing the same with the launcher. All around the devs in O1 section, andy is the best in this field. You should ask him
I am 100% sure he will help and will take out some time for you.
JUST ONE RULE SHOULD BE FOLLOWED WHILE THIS :- BE PATIENT

ANDY:
as i see in the logcat, it seems that there are mixed libraries from miui and LG proprietary libs.
this cant work, because many apps are crashing at boot time because of missing functions for layout.
at first, remove the fu** LG drmserver - no one but LG need this.
second, try the surfaceflinger, surfaceflinger_client, libpixelflinger and liblayout from another rom,
these from LG rom cant work here - miui has patched many libraries, so these installed
cant work properly.

(wip not booting)miui port need help from other devs!

Hello all of you!
For a period of time i have been working on porting MIUI to The Galaxy Tab 2 7.0
I have made progress, at one build i was able to get to the MIUI boot animation, and i need your help in order to get it booting!
http://infinityftw.sylvester20007.com/MIUI P3113.zip This is a build i made, ported from the kindle fire. It flashes, but it is stuck at boot animation. I was not able to pull a logcat, cus' adb did not recognise my device. So now I want all of you, especially you devs, to contribute to this project! Take a look at the file, flash it, see if you can get a logcat etc.
Lets do this! Lets finish this port!
Well, I am not a developer but I think you need to edit Services.jar for device to boot.
I have a P3100 managed to flashed the one i'm trying to port, sticks at Samsung Logo. Have Managed to get bugreport and logcat for the boot. Attaching it with this post. If someone could please help with the debugging would be great. I'm not into development so really dont understand too much of it. Also from what i see, it shows :
Build: MIUI
Bootloader: unknown
Radio: unknown
Network: (unknown)

It seems that you have a netd loop. It looks like you have yours setup for a logcat, and i was wondering if you could flash my RAM and post me a logcat in order to see if we have the same issues?
Sure... but i have a P3100... Can you send me the link? I can provide you with the logcat and bugreport. Also use the samsung drivers to get the device detect properly and get adb to function correctly. Here is the link : http://www.mediafire.com/?qp9gw2i9lwbr3qb Also storage will be disabled once you install the drivers. Just uninstall the driver and reconnect the tab to get the usb storage working again. Also you will have to repeat this install/uninstall to get either of the functions working.

Okay. The link is in OP,just use p3113 build
Downloading your rom... meanwhile i have got my build to boot but same problem as yours, infinite boot animation loop... attaching the logcat for the new miui... Somebody please have a look. I don't understand a word. Some problem with media profile i guess not sure. It says
PHP:
I/ServiceManager( 106): service 'media.audio_policy' died
I/ServiceManager( 106): service 'media.audio_flinger' died
I/ServiceManager( 106): service 'media.player' died
I/ServiceManager( 106): service 'media.camera' died
Edit : Can't install you're zip file... gives me error 7 i think i need to make changes to the build.prop
Edit 2 : network services (netd) seems to work now but still get the above error and infinite boot animation loop.
No one interested it seems!

you can try my guide in my signature...
and that prob is basically in framework.jar .. some classes are missing you can see in the logcat :good:
I am also quite new and have next to none knowledge of Android development though I would gladly help out as a tester with my p3110 since I'm a big fan of MIUI
I will start up again with this project very soon, and I'll start digging into framework.jar to make it boot

dude if its usefull on p3100 i will surely help u being tester
I tried to port using this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1994503 . Same problem, only bootanimation, no booting. The reason is, I did not do the manual diffing, because of lack of enough time and knowledge. However, i have the decompiled files with me which are to be diffed manually. If any one of you have the required skills for diffing and porting the files, I am attaching the decompiled jar files (in compressed zip file) that need to be manually diffed. Link. If someone manages to diff these files manually, may again zip the files up and upload it and link it here, so that i can continue with the Porter tool. Thanks
EDIT: Its based on cm10 build for p3100, and the source is kindle fire's MIUI JB
Great this miui porting thread stated getting alive , I'm sure you guys will make it possible . good luck
Btw guys , can we get help from miui porters for galaxy tab 7 and kindle fire devices , bcoz its succesfully ported On those devices
Hi, now that I have some free time, I'll try to help this port.
Just in case, I have a P3100 so I'll change a few things to fits my configuration and try. I'll be reporting in some hours.
Obs.: Just in case, in build.prop I see it's related to 4.1.2 but miui 2.9.21 is 4.1.1 based, right? Maybe this can be one of the problems.

[GUIDE] UPDATED!!! [MOD] How to make Call Log Limit practically Unlimited

Well this Guide with all its spelling mistakes somehow made it to portal
Click to collapse
For Developers: If you are planning to compile your ROM, and want to use this mod, then read This Post
Background Story:
I was missing the CyberShot Camera too much and found Google Camera has been ported to JB And I also wanted to try the Moded LifeLog app, which somehow was not working on my Pacman Rom.
These were the reasons I Decided to come back to JB Stock Base. I had a previous Nandroid Backup of Lovin's Z2 ROM for XV. I took all my Call-Log and SMS Backups and also took backup of some apps that I used. Then I restored the NAND Backup today.
after that I started restoring the apps+data. Everything was fine.
After few hours of using, As I always do, I took the periodic backup of my Call Logs again. That's when I noticed, the previous Logs were 700+ and now after making some calls, it came down to 500. after Some test, I found out, this is not problem of Backup software.
A little Google search revealed Android has a default call log limit set to 500 Calls.
I searched for Xposed Mod for this, found TrimNot. But it showed error. Most probably, it is only for KK. Then I thought why not MOD it myself?
That's how it all started...
The research & work procedure:
I first thought, OK, I need to find where the Calls are stored. After passing some time with Google, I found, the Logs are stored in a SQlite3 Database, in
Code:
/data/data/com.android.providers.contacts/databases/contacts2.db
There is no limit in this database storage. So, the limit must be in the code.
After another couple of hours, I found that Android checks if the contacts has reached 500 then removes the older. Searching with
Call Log Android
Click to collapse
in android API reference, where I found some leads on my research.
"public class CallLog" which is under "android.provider.CallLog"
Something told me, to look for this class, in the actual source code. But that's almost 30 GB and I don't have time. from some prior Java knowledge I knew, all class have their own source file, with the same name, So the name would be "CallLog.java"
Now I searched Google, with it and found exactly what I was looking for. The search took me to a Git page android/platform_frameworks_base
And here I found this code.
Java:
private static void removeExpiredEntries(Context context) {
final ContentResolver resolver = context.getContentResolver();
resolver.delete(CONTENT_URI, "_id IN " +
"(SELECT _id FROM calls ORDER BY " + DEFAULT_SORT_ORDER
+ " LIMIT -1 OFFSET 500)", null);
}
The file is located in
Code:
platform_frameworks_base/core/java/android/provider/CallLog.java
and from the name I guessed, this should be inside framework files. Then I went into action. I first tried to de-compile the framework-res.apk file. I used Advanced APKTool by BDFreak
Using the windows search tool, I searched for "call log". I found nothing. Then I tried to de-compile "framework.jar". For this, I followed guide by Rizal Lovins - [Share Latest Apktool 4.2.2/Guide/Tutorial/] How to Decompile/Compile/Sign Apk/Jar
after the de-compiling was Done, I found there is a "android/provider" folder. Yes, it look similar to "platform_frameworks_base/core/java/android/provider/CallLog.java"
So, here should be the files. And I found Two files
Code:
CallLog$Calls.smali
CallLog.smali
I opened both with Notepad++,
CallLog.smali gave me noting.
But after a careful search, I found the exact query inside the ]CallLog$Calls.smali file.
I found this line -
Code:
const-string v2, "_id IN (SELECT _id FROM calls ORDER BY date DESC LIMIT -1 OFFSET 500)"
I just changed 500 to 100000 and I knew my task was done.
I then recompiled the framework.jar and took backup of my original framework.jar (took Nandroid backup ), replaced the original with my modified JAR file. Set the permission rw-r-r or 644. Then rebooted my phone.
Testing:
After the phone started, I made a call, then took backup of the Call Log with Call Log Backup Restore it showed 501.
This means my task is done.
Then I thought, why not share the whole experience today in XDA. So I started Writing this Guide.
F.A.Q.
Why I need more than 500 Call Log ?
- Well I work in Billing Department of a GSM Phone Exchange/Gateway. I periodically cross check my phone Call Logs with the Exchange SoftSwitch Data. Except for that, It's just fun to try something new.
Why this guide has no steps or required steps?
- Because, if anything I missed, those will be added later in the FAQ, from the comments.
Is this tested on any device?
-Yes,
My # Xperia V with LOVINS X™ Z2 ROM 9.2.A.2.5
# Xperia V NeoWave™ ROM
# Xperia TX OmniRom
# Xperia TX (unknown ROM )
# Xperia Z2 (unknown ROM )
# Xperia P Stock ROM
#Xperia P JB based Enigma v7.2 ROM
#CyanogenMod 11 M11 and M12
Can this work on my T/TX/TL/Z/Z1 etc. etc.
- Theoretically it should work on any Device and any ROM. But, practically, I don't know, why don't you try yourself and let me know
I'm newbie, can you provide me more simple guide?
- Well I'm a Newbie myself Just take a Nandroid Backup and start the process. What can go wrong? At most you'll have to restore the backup.
Go to every link and read those too. And Don't forget to Thank those people who provided the Tools and Guides.
Still If you don't understand my guide, read it twice, if it doesn't work read again.
Ha Ha Ha kidding. Here you go A Simple guide
Update:
If you are planning to compile your ROM, and want to use this mod, then read This Post
I switched to NeoWave™ ROM and just as usual applied my MOD. Restored 800+ Call Log from Backup. Now I find another limitation. It's in the Dialer. In the KitKat Call History, there is a Statistics option. Here it always shows
TOTAL: 500 Calls,....
Click to collapse
So Now I'm digging the sources again to make the stats go higher.
Update: The issue was caused because, after sometimes (any call), the call history automatically turned to 500. Because the framework.jar was odexed and i guess, odex file had the old value set again. And for the NeoWave I used android MultiTool, it showed one error while compiling, Unsigned Short value exceeds, I didn't notice that. My bad. Now I have done the Mod again with Apktool (Lovins shared one) and removed the odex file and then Everything seems fine. Even the Statistics Shows, TOATAL: 1203 Calls, ....
Tested on OmniRom and works as expected. I've used an Xposed module before which does the same thing, but it's always nice to find new ways to implement things without having to use Xposed.

It's the same one linked in the OP, except it's named TrimNot, not TimNot. I thought it might be a different one given that the one linked above didn't work for @pollob666, but I guess it's because I'm on a 4.4 ROM.

But there is also another ridiculous limitation, that is the maximum of 20 alarms you can have in the clock

Well, I was looking for this feature since Google invented Android!:good:
I was using MIUI because of they're giving unlimited Call log. Then some one invented TrimNot on Aug 15, 201, I came again to OzcanRom (My Fav). Trim not doesn't work at all.
My question is, Can you make this step more simple. I'm a new bie. :fingers-crossed:

My framework.jar won't work for you. We need to modify your ROM's framework.jar if you can provide me that file, I can MOD it for you.
But, I am giving the Simple steps. I would be very happy if you can do it yourself.
I am assuming you already have Notepad++ or Similar text editing tool and know how to pull files from /system
Step 1: Download APKTool of your choice. I used Advanced APKTool by BDFreak
Step 2: Decompile your framework.jar. For this, I followed guide by Rizal Lovins - [Share Latest Apktool 4.2.2/Guide/Tutorial/] How to Decompile/Compile/Sign Apk/Jar
Step 3: Open the CallLog.smali file and any other files that starts with CallLog ( like in my case CallLog$Calls.smali ) in Notepad++ or any other Text Editor.
Step 4: search for "SELECT _id FROM calls ORDER BY" or similar lines. You will find LIMIT -1 OFFSET 500 change 500 with any number you want.
Step 5: Save the modified file smali, and recompile the jar file.
Step 6: Just to be safe, take a NANDROID backup.
Step 7: Take a backup of the original framework.jar, delete it from system and push the modified framework.jar to System and change permission to rw-r-r or 644. Reboot.
Step 8: test

WOW, you really did it. Sorry I was in training my juniors at office, didn't reply earlier.
You can use es explorer, or if you have adb, then you can use some shell commands. I can give you the commands, if you haven't done it already.
It should work. Let me check and mod a it for you.
Edit: Sorry, I don't have the framework2.jar. ant the ROM is too big for downloading now at office. But for Samsung device, I guess the re-compile process needs a bit working. you need to recompile the file, then open it in 7zip or WinRAR replace the AndroidManifest file with the file of the original, (then sign it then zipalign it not sure for jar file though). Then push it to the system.
