Has a mod been released so as you move left to right through the screens on the last it scrolls back to the first?
Try the GDE theme on the market. It makes your screens like a cube so it will rotate back to the original screen.
most of the home screen replacements do this... if u want one which is simple and based on 2.0, try Home++...

Hi,
Currently using a HTC desire on cyanogen. I'm using 3 home screens with Launcher pro plus. since i have 3 screens the wallpaper will shift depending on which screen i am on. For example if i'm on my most left screen, the screen will focus on the left on the wallpaper. if i'm on the middle , the focus will be on the middle of the wallpaper. and so on..
my question is, how come when i'm at my lockscreen, the focus is on the right portion of my wallpaper even if i turned my screen off on the center home screen?
i've tried switching wallpapers and that doesnt seem to work.
i had the same problem but it was fixed after applying the wallpaper again
Same thing on Samsung Captivate also w/ LauncherPro (free)
Has anyone found a viable solution for this? Reapplying the wallpaper doesn't resolve this. Rebooting works but a more elegant solution would be nice. Not even sure how it shifted to begin with.
ok, So even though ADW isnt official for HC and you cant get it from the market I was able to side load it and I noticed a glitch. Say if you have either a gmail or email widget on your homescreen (the ones built into hc) and you go to a different home screen and flip the tablet to portrait to landscape of visa versa it wont stay on the current screen, it will flip to the homescreen that has the widgets. When I removed the widgets it would stay on the current screen. So what I did was move the widgets off my default screen to the 2nd screen. I went to different screen and flipped the tablet and this time instead of flipping back to the home screen it flipped back to whatever screen I had the widget(s) on. I tried using JUST the gmail widget and not the email widget and I got the same results, also tried just the email widget and not the gmail and got the same results. So something is causing ADW to go to whatever screen the widget is on when you switch orientation.
Can anyone who has adw confirm if this is happening to you as well?
i havent had that problem but i get a fc trying to use the adw ex email widget. also i do not like how the wallpaper aligns on the screen using the launcher in landscape mode. id rather use the stock launcher because of that one reason. im kinda picky i guess haha
Is there anyway to enable a cascade home screen menu when you're already home and you press home again (like in HTC's Sense UI) on the stock launcher (or an alternate launcher that has a stock UI) on a rooted n1?
I'd really prefer not to run a third party launcher if at all possible.
I tried searching but only found results for fixing broken screens. :-\
Thanks for your help.
I'm not entirely sure what you mean by cascade homescreen menu but I doubt what you want is possible in the stock launcher. Regardless I suggest you install something like Launcher Pro for added features but above all else, for the massive improvement in speed and smoothness. It was really a night and day difference on my phone and you can make Launcher Pro look exactly like stock. It was like buying a new phone.
Is there a way so I'm able to put icons or widget all the way to the top or the bottom of the screen? The "boarder" doesn't allow me to and see like a waste of screen space.
i dont think you can because rotating the tab from landscape to portrait would then make some dissapear ins certain views.
you could try a different launcher like adw ex which might allow you to use more screen estate!
I looked around and all I see is that Android 2.3.4 Sense 3.0 is the lowest the Vivid will go.
Is that the shipped stock?
Or is there any way I can go to a earlier version of Sense with it?
I want to go back to where the lock screen slide down with the slide down bar. I think 2.1/2.2? When the wallpaper slid with the home screen and it all went side to side. I miss the old Sense features from my HTC Aria alot and if I could get them on the Vivid it would be incredible!
Try widget locker.
I used it. I want where it slid the whole lock screen down and not just the slider. I want all the old little animations of the home screen and such. Just like it was on HTC Aria 2.2.
I don't think thers a way, I too miss the old animations, and the older lock screen, especially the older AOSP lock screen, and widget locker or any apps just don't cut it(have to deal with double lockscreen, laggy lockscreen, less smooth, etc).
I'm just going to end up buying an HTC Aria and leaving 2.2 stock on it. For those moments when I miss it haha
