Hey guys....just found this new amazing free product called YouMail.
Its your own voicemail product that allows you to do pretty much anything you want. You have to try it out. It allows you to save your voice mails to your computer. Assign your own MP3's or voice to your voice mail and pretty much anything you want.

im in jamaica the carrier is not there but i got the code but in the last instance when ur supose to put in the string it said not recon instead of success

How is it different from GrandCentral
This functionality part of existing www.GrandCentral.com functionality. Why do you think it better. It nice program, but IMO GrandCentral provide more call management futures compared to this. Just my 2c

ummm ok...is that a Canadian thing where I am not supposed to understand.
i use callwave.com it's pretty good it has a feature called vtext that tries to do voice to text of the call you recieved

From the sign up screen it says it only accepts land line phone numbers? Am I assuming this will work with mobile phones as well.

For all AT&T Customser is a long distance call to check your voicemail. Plus when you have nationwide plan you don't get charged long distance.
Does anyone else have any invites for GrandCentral? I was hoping to try this service out. I am trying to choose between YouMail and this one...

I never "got" Twitter
I dont feel important enough to believe that anyone would care what I was doing "right now". Conversely, I'm not interested in being constantly informed what anyone else is doing right now. I know a couple people that use it, but it seems like one more thing to keep up with.

I know myself, prefer to stay away...now too many hours in front my laptop...between my work and XDA.
I can´t imagine if I use one of those apps...my wife would kill me!

lol! I didn't think I'd use it at all, but I was surprised by how many did use, like developers and news groups. Great way to get info/news as it happens.
are you guys/gals using twitter via your mobile phone or are using it via your laptop? Im asking cause i want to be able to use it via my phone (touch pro). wanting to know what app or cab i could use to install on my device.
Using it on both depending where i am at the time.
Personally the best app for the PPC i have found is PockeTwit. It works and is being updated regularly. The updating is built into the app as well.
I have had issues using it to upload to TwitPic so i keep ceTwit in the device as well.
I have twitter, but using it only for my website, not for personal needs (seems useless for me).

I use http://dabr.co.uk/ in Opera. Very light, opens links in new tabs. Does @ and # links too.

twitter is public and people don't need an account to read messages. I have a couple of friends who follow my Twitter stream to see what i am doing without an acount for themselves. Also for access from my Trinity, the Twitter clients are so much easier to use and faster.
Is there an app that i could use to send texts but using my wifi connection any help would be appreciated.
Skype is a good one, you have to have wifi. But I think theres a fee if your talking to non skpye users.

There's one, I can't recall the name It's an app on the iPhone too, it lets you text for free on wifi

I use Google Voice for all my texts - no text plan required.
I bought ROM manager premium through the paypal link in the app. Now that i've moved back to the N1 from the NS (i bought it when i was on the NS), i don't see any way to activate premium features without paying again. am i missing something?

I'm not a Twitter pro or anything... but I think as long as you preface your tweet by @koush, he'll see your message and will probably respond. He's a good guy and won't screw you over...so just get in touch with him.

You can probably also get his email by clicking on 'Send email to the developer'.
Actually, just checked, you don't even have to click on it. His email is right there on the page.
You know every app on the Market has the developer's email, right?

If it were me, I would find alternative means of getting the software. You already paid for the license. If the dev don't wanna support his own product, either don't use it, or find another place to download it. There are many places to obtain android apps.
I don't like spreading this because I support the developers and truly appreciate the work they do. But I also don't like to see ppl cheated out of their money whether it was intentional or not. I'll tell you how to get that app from the market without paying. Just shoot me a pm.

I am another person who bought via PayPal, thinking it would save me $1 and put more $ in the developers pocket rather than the Android market taking it. I originally purchased it back in January 2011 and now cannot get my new device to show that it is the premium version without purchasing on the Android Market... Did anyone find a solution to this or get a reply from Koush?

Unable to add new contacts but you can check online contacts by pressing the 'Contacts' header which will give you that option.

Are Skype calls in the Beta version free ? It seems I can make outbound calls using the dial pad, but I know I've never paid for any package as I'm waiting for a Canadian number. Am I going to receive a bill for calls later on or is there truly a free outbound trial period ?
